Many have already commented with some great insight and ideas.

As far as writing, my thoughts are 1) I think you are very capable of doing this and not needing to try AI for it. 2) Reading a long story in Skyrim is something many people won't do. The stories need to be quite short, which makes it difficult to create real substance. The forbidden bookshelf for example has stories that are good but overly long and I just skimmed over them. 3) Asking others to write comes with the issue you noted, as well as the problem of continuity. You might get one good one from a person then one or two from another, but they probably wouldn't match well. Maybe just ask for basic ideas then make them your own? Although I do believe you're full of many ideas of your own already. 

Anunya listed some good ideas above about adding a small radiant quest to get books. Also, great ideas on giving the books to Master, and after Master has read them. I really like that progression. In particular I liked ... 

"That was a great read. Really inspiring." [Master has a higher baseline arousal and now requires sex more times a day than usual for the next several days]

 

Some thoughts of my own, off the top of my head:

With each book Lola reads, maybe she gets horny and has an orgasm on the spot.

If each book has a specific topic, it would be possible for Master to ask if Lola really likes the topic and do something based on the response. Much like you said about adding more zap events (probably just short term though). Prostitution, being naked, confessions, all come to mind in addition to the pain one.

If a playmate is used, perhaps before Master is given the book, the playmate can ask to read it first. It would give them a temporary increase to being horny and cause them to ask/demand sex.

That's evil.    It's too much from a mundane book (and these are non-magical), but I could raise your exposure to 100 and let you deal with that.  When gifted, the owner might receive a smaller increase.

Those books range from 4100 characters (Chastity Belts) to 33,200 (Chastised), so there's a wide range.  If you use the Take Notes! mod, journal entries are limited to 4000 characters.  With default font, on my PC, that's just over 6 pages.  A book displays 2 pages at a time, so that's just over 2 page turns (potentially 4 for 6000 characters).

 

I took some time to try writing one of my ideas as short story.  It's around 4600 characters, and it turned out better than I'd expected.  It's fun and playful, with a dash of peril, the right tone at least for what I'd hoped.

Yeah, the font is fine for notes, but for the lore books I just read the posted text at the uesp.net site.  For better readability (and more characters per page), I could use the alternate system font that I'd recommended to Laura for her Message from the Author:

The ideas that I have so far involve more than one device (gags are common in bondage scenes).  Certainly for the first iteration, the books would be treated equally other than tracking which ones were read.

Playmates are tricky, because they can become owners, and vice versa.  If she's read a book as a playmate, she won't be very impressed with it as a gift as your owner, and we can't give a playmate the owner's benefit without allowing two "uses" of the book.
