coffeeink Posted June 13, 2023 Posted June 13, 2023 (edited) Hello. this warning i wrote is basically just my personal expirences. Rly no offense against DI and DCL. They are good mods and do what they want to do good. There are a tons of mods which might cause the same issue (SLS also sometimes with the guards). It’s in the nature of the feature. I just mentioned them because during my testing i had these 2 mods a popular mods in my loading chain and i ran into some small issues i can’t avoid on my side without actively patching other ppls Code. you can disable parts of the mods and configure that it works. But to be honest most ppl don’t deep dive into this settings  and default settings you will at some point into issues. Neither of the side can avoid.  But on how DI and DDC designed to work with Gag Talk, Device Comments is, if the Conditions are met they are making a blocking Dialogue. Force Greets are often also blocking Dialogues (at least the lola ones are mainly blocking) you are now entering the hell of Priority fighting. The blocking Dialogue with the highest priority wins. I just mentioned these 2 because i know these mods and had them in my testchains which caused sometimes very weird interactions like: instead of getting released from a furniture i got random DDs equiped. Etc.  Thats what i mean with weird interactions. Often they are technical harmless sometimes not. Thats why i list it as „soft/minor incompatible“ and write that warning. Because i already saw ppl complaining that something is breaking somewhere because of this.  i General would recommend not to have to many active mods in that area. It‘s just a matter if time for some logic breaks (that’s why i also don’t recommend DFC and Lola st the same time, even if it technical works) Edited June 13, 2023 by coffeeink

On this topic I have run into mods that I wish would play nice, like whorecrux and Prison overhaul patched. I never managed to make this work because whorecrux animation at the wrong time just pops you out of the furtniture. Back to lola for a bit, the potion addition is honestly a big deal for my kind of roleplay I had a mod specifically for healing others without spells for whenever I didn't have a magic licence from SL survival, and this is a much better solution too. Also another reason you might visit a city to make some potions for both of you, having tempting reasons to do that make SL survival more fun.

Thank you for the follow up. Some followers are just overpowered. Some editing of the mod can fix that, if a player has the time, knowledge, and desire.  In general, I think Difficulty Balance (available for LE & SE) is a must-have for followers.  Ashien's Cursed Rings (an LE mod, but it works with SE) can be used in addition to weaken a follower more. I'm glad that you like it. This feature is really outside the mod's scope, but it's the only system I could come up with that encourages using alchemy (without requiring it), without building a quest with owner potion demands, time limits, and minimum potion quantity and strength, only to find that after you provide the potions, the owner won't actually use them. Encouraging players to visit cities is an added benefit. Another is giving potions you can't use to your follower rather than selling them. A warrior PC might not want magicka potions, but the mage owner does. It's easy to roleplay that the owner demands (or takes) all magicka potions. 2

After a good amount of testing, I've concluded that gags are not a problem, at least when no other mods are installed that have special gag behavior (I didn't test that).  I think the problem is the kneeling angle fix. Changing the PC's angle can cause a conversation to jump to the next line or even break out of conversation.  I happened to be testing the force greeting for not offering enough service. That one forces a PC angle change (I don't know why I forced it, unless that predated the MCM setting). If the force greeting starts with a short distance between PC and owner, so that the "beckons" message displays, clicking on the owner to talk always disrupts the dialog. I removed that forced angle change (this change will be in the next update), and everything went well.  I suspect that players who have odd instances of being punished for breaking conversation when they didn't do anything is caused by having the angle fix when kneeling setting enabled and facing away enough that the fix triggers (you must be more than 15 degrees off). You folks might try that and see if it makes a difference. If it does, I will probably remove that feature. A cosmetic fix isn't worth potentially breaking conversation (if that's what is actually happening). I'm having some trouble finding the stuff for the Devious followers spanking stuff. when I go to that page it tells me to download the  DF Spank SLAL mini-pack but doesn't show me how to get it like there is no link or anything, as well there is something about the spank that ass mod, is that mod part of what you were recommending for using or am I miss understanding. I am also planning on using a male player character and was just wondering if these spanking animations are going to work ok with the DF (and spank that ass if I didn't misunderstand your recommendation).  Anyways sorry for taking up some of your time or if my question was stupid, I just start modding Skyrim SE so i am kind of new at this, thank you for your time.

No. The complete list of requirements is in the File Information box beside the "Requires" label. The installation section just offers advice and links to things that a few people had trouble finding.

If you fail the treasure hunt you can just not turn it in, so the quest probably can't start again but at least you never get punished. Â This reminded me of something from a couple of updates ago, where I did the tell two people I'm a slave, didn't turn it in and instead fast traveled out of town and soon after was at a bandit camp. The owned was zapping me a lot and I couldn't turn it in because I was in combat. Not sure if that's still possible as it was on an older version, I think it was 2.0.61. Â And finally I have an issue with the fetch wine quest when told to strip. My character strips most things off but still keeps some things things on(just now it was slots 43, 47 and 48) for which I get zapped for a pretty hefty point loss. This one is really annoying because the stripping suggests you should be good to go but really you're not.

My PC wears stockings and a belt which on most occasions stay on (never bothered to look up the slots) - but as a good slave, not expecting combat, you strip yourself. You have a grace period of a few seconds. And if the zapping is too strong, turn it down in the MCM, Mistress will complain anyway.

The Run, Lola, Run event strips items in the standard armor slots (body, head, hands, and feet).  Slots 43, 47, and 48 are generally used for ears, "Unused (Commonly Backpacks)", and anal plug. For the naked Run, Lola, Run, the event punishes wearing items with the keywords ClothingBody, ArmorBody, ClothingHands, ArmorHands, ClothingHead, and ArmorHelm. As you can see, none of those keywords should be on items in those slots. The blame falls on mods that assign inappropriate keywords to accessories that are worn in these slots. I recommend editing those mods to remove keywords that don't make sense.  As @CaptainJ03 said, "You have a grace period of a few seconds." In the worst case, you can unequip the offending items, though removing inappropriate keywords would save you the trouble.
Kryona Posted June 16, 2023 Posted June 16, 2023 I updated this mod (and also Devious Devices to 5.2) today and in the Main MCM page it says "Devious Devices version is obsolote" in red. Is this normal or does this mean the mod thinks my DD version is outdated?
