I switched off the rape setting in DCL and activatet "Enslave me now".  After that, I was put on the auction block, but nothing happend. I waited for 15 (?) minutes. Looks like the script does not start. What could cause this?

SD+ and several DCL masters are seleced in the Simple Slavery ++ MCM.

 

The most common cause of the auction not starting is that you are missing Fuz Ro Doh, or you have the wrong version of Fuz Ro Doh for your version of Skyrim - LE / SE / AE.

Are you using the latest version of this mod?  What version of Skyrim are you using (LE, SE, or AE)?  Do you have the right version of SKSE for your Skyrim?  (The last person who reported this problem had serious game issues, like having both Devious Devices 5.1 and 4.3 installed.)  It looks like you never made it to the actual start of the auction.  Can you provide a papyrus log?  For the log, please wait 3 minutes on the auction platform before stopping the game.  To narrow down the cause, you might also try it with no enslavement outcomes selected,

I should have provided basic information in the first place ;-). I run Skyrim SE 1.5.97.08 with SKSE64 2.0.20 rel 6 and Vortex. 

- Fuz Ro Doh 61 (downloaded on 28th of December on Nexus) might be an issue. Sometimes it works, but not all the time. Vortex displays an error (not a valid dll (code 193) see jpg), but up to now, I ignored it. I learned, that there is a new version, but it is compatible with version 1.9, only.

- After I talk to the slave master, the quest "simple slavery" is started. I get the first "waypoint" (Stop dragging...) and above it an empty dot (no text). 

 

I will try to provide a log file (first time- might take a while).

Don't ignore other errors.  If your installation isn't solid, particularly in regard to mods that are required for this mod, there's no point trying to get this mod to work or generating a log.  I'm on LE, but it looks like you need Fuz Ro D-oh version 1.7 according to that mod's page.  Get Fuz Ro D-oh working reliably, look over your installation for any other errors that might exist, then give the auction another try and hopefully it will work for you.

Looks like I can. There are plenty of errors. Is it okay to attach it, here?

Funny thing: Yesterday, my PC stayed chained. Today, the chained animation stopped within a minute.  The PC stands idle (can`t move or enter inventory) and the empty dot on the "simple slavery" quest is checked.

Where con I get version 1.7? The lowest version on Nexus is 20 (2.0?).

Edit 2: Yes- this was the reason. Of course I needed the Fuz Ro D-oh SE files. Searching on Nexus, I just found the Skyrim (AE?) files.

Hi all, I just redownloaded skyrim for another runthrough, and I'm having a bizarre issue where simple slavery just simply won't start the auction. You can teleport to the cell no problem, you can talk to the slave master as well. But once I get dragged up to the platform, the auctioneer simply doesn't begin. I haven't had this issue on any of my previous playthroughs, and I have Fuz Roh Doh installed so it should be working fine. has anyone else had this issue?

 

is it just that this is'nt yet up to speed with Anneversary Edition?

This mod doesn't use a DLL plug-in, so it's not affected by SE vs. AE differences.  However, Fuz Ro D-oh is.  Check that you have the right Fuz Ro D-oh version for your game.  If Fuz Ro D-oh isn't working, this mod won't work.

New:  Support for a new outcome mod, Dark Desires Club (available for SE only).
New:  The "Descriptive pop-up messages" toggle is now a menu with the choices None, Scared [default], and Defiant.
New:  If you choose the less meek topic "Hey!  Why am I in here?" with the slavemaster, then respond with "I'll be no one's slave!", you'll be gagged during the auction.
Removed:  Heroine in Distress.  It's been marked as "BROKEN/DON'T USE" by the author for years.
Changed:  The "Unlock Door" prompt for the cage door is hidden during the auction.
Changed:  Speeded up the transition from slave pen to platform.

Ok so I'ce stripped my mods down to just running SS++ and its requirements, but it still will not begin the auction. what would you next reccomend testing?

Check your version of Fuz Ro D-oh against your game version.  If they do not match, this mod will not work.  The latest version(s) of Fuz Ro D-oh on its SE page are for AE.  AE versions of Fuz Ro D-oh don't work with SE.  SE versions of Fuz Ro D-oh don't work with AE.  (If you're on LE, all you need is the current LE version and you're good.)

Not directly, but if you leave the starting cell and then use the MCM option to start the auction you can get here quickly (I recommend against doing that while you're still in the starting cell).

I believe there is a mod called Immerslave that lets you go directly from LAL to SS++.

i fear, if you go from mara into ss++ the lal quest wont progress

I've got a problem with Simple Slavery not installing quite right. Resaver flags up instances with data missing on two of the scripts. That usually means the mod failed to establish itself.

Normally, I'd pull the mod, make a clean save and try again. But in this case, removing the mod corrupts my game save. So that course of action looks like it's out.

 

Does anyone know how I can work around this problem?  If I roll back to original install it's a long way.

SSLV_QF_SimpleSlavery_0200492E hasn't changed for 3 years.  It would be odd for that script to suddenly have a problem in a game.  SSLV_MainScr updates often.  You could try "StopQuest SimpleSlavery" and "StartQuest SimpleSlavery" to see if that makes Resaver happy.

So been having a bit of an issue with the mod lately. It seems to work very hit or miss when it comes to SD+. I'm using the latest version of both mods and made sure to get the updated SE edition of SD+ and SD+ is the only mod I have for SS++ to send the player to. However, it seems like 95% of the time after the auction has concluded either the new owner spawns directly in front of me, and then never moves (the slavery process kicks in) but no matter how long I wait they'll never leave the cell area. Or I'll be teleported out into the world with a new owner and things seem to go mostly ok right up until the NPC says it time to go for a walk or put away for the night. The NPC will take like 10 steps, and then just never move again. I think I had it go off perfectly one time, but the owner was instagibbed by the falling rocks near Falkreath. 

 

Any idea what's going on here? Is this a known issue?

This problem, and its solution, were recently reported by DeepBlueFrog, the author of SD+.  The navmesh on the auction platform has no way down, so an NPC that's placed there is stuck.  I have a fix for the next update.  For now, you can either shove the master off the platform by running into him, or manually move him by targeting him in the console window and entering "moveto player".

That would be an SD+ issue.  At that point, Simple Slavery is finished and SD+ is in control.
