So I've had this problem for awhile, but every time I get abducted and sent to the auction house the game crashes about 30 seconds later no matter what i do.

Doesn't matter if I start the auction or just stand there not doing anything, the game crashes.

I've included a crash log if that helps. it says something about the bidding NPC's like "bidder 2" and "bidder 6"

Your crash log shows that you use Skyrim SE 1.5.97, which I also use. The auction house does not cause a CTD for me.

I use many, but not all, of the same mods that you do.

One of the mods that you use must have an incompatibility or some kind of negative interaction with Simple Slavery++.

I recommend using a process of elimination to identify which mod has the interaction problem.

First start with a minimum mod list having only Simple Slavery++ and its requirements. Start a new game and verify that you have no problem in the auction house.

Then repeat a process in which you add some more of your mods, start a new game, and check the auction house.

Eventually you will hit the problem in the auction house, and that will indicate the most recent mod or mods you added to the game is the problem.

Good luck!

i went to check it out, but there's nobody there. i tried getting sent there after deliberately losing a fight; still empty.

I can't explain that.  It's not a problem that's been reported before.  There should be many people in the slave market.  You might try it in a new game and pop in there right away to see if the problem still occurs.

Well, the same NPCs should be present either way.  It's very strange that they all disappear when you get sent to the slave market.  I don't know what would cause that.  You might post a papyrus log of a time using the Enslave Me button.  Possibly it will reveal something.

Just for the sake of seeing the world burn: What happens if you hit the 'enslave me now' button when you're already in the (populated) Slave Market?

From other thread:

I see you support SS++ too. I had a go at that afterwards and when i go to the MCM it says something along the lines of "integrity check failed, mod wont work correctly" could this be related?

"No.  That means that you've overwritten one of Simple Slavery's scripts, perhaps unintentionally.  Be sure that you have not patched SS++ in any way.  In recent months, Improved Cameras patch collection has been a culprit, as have at least one enslavement mod that has a badly outdated patch.  Just don't patch Simple Slavery.  If you need more help there, let's continue that discussion on the SS++ support topic."

Ok we can move to the SS++ topic.

i haven't patched it intentionally. I'm not entirely sure what that means! How do I stop a patch happening?

All Simple Slavery script filenames start with SSLV_.  Searching for that in your mods should turn up the problem.   Temporarily trying a new game with a minimal set of mods, and then adding back a few at a time can also help you find it by elimination.

Forgive me if someone's already mentioned this...

Dark Arena and Radiant Prostitution aren't on the list of "installed/notinstalled mods", but it's listed as an post-auction destination. Does this mean they're no longer supported by this mod or do they still work and just don't have to be "enable" by hitting the tick?

If they are on the right hand side, they should be supported, albeit with Radiant Prostitution there were, if I recall correctly, some variants that don't "talk" to this mod. The info should be on the landing page.

Did you try the "Rescan Auction Destinations" on the System page?

PS: I'm just a random user, Hexbolt is offline for a week, as announced in the SubLola thread.

You might have an older version of Dark Arena.  Simple Slavery looks for the interface quest "aDA_slave" in Dark Arena.  If not found, that version of Dark Arena won't interact with Simple Slavery.

Only the RCMW version of RP has an interface for Simple Slavery.  You might not be using that version of RP, or you might have an older version.  Simple Slavery looks for the quest "mf_DebtHandler" in RP to see if it is compatible.

Hi. This mod does not show up in the MCM panel for me. What could be the cause? I don't really get any errors shown. It just doesn't show there.

A non-appearing MCM is a generic problem, but I can suggest general remedies:

- If you use a mod that reorders the list of mods in the MCM, recently added mods might appear at the bottom.

- Be sure that you have installed the prerequisites and that they are working.

- Save and reload your game.

- Try "setstage SKI_ConfigManagerInstance 1" in the console and wait a minute or two.

- Enter any other mod's MCM menu, then exit and wait a minute.

- Reinstall the mod.  That sometimes works for people.

- Reinstall SkyUI and check that you're not using an old version.

You could try with a new game with a reduced set of mods.  Leave out ones that you don't really need.  If that works, you can add them back in gradually.

Hey. Thanks for the quick reply. I found out that the issue was that the simpleslavery.esp plugin was disabled. I'm using vortex and the mod manager automatically enables the plugins whenever I install a new mod. Not sure why it didn't this time.

Is there a way to disable 'males' from also showing up in the enslavement event? Or force females only?

If you mean the bidders in the slave market, no, they're fixed.  Different ones are used in the various auction scenes, so they all should be present.  However, there's no reason to assume that male bidders have a sexual interest in your character, if that's the concern.  For example, some of the auction dialog refers to putting the slave to work in a mine.  It's also very reasonable that male bidders are here for the entire auction (you're not the only slave for sale today), so they might be biding their time, vaguely bored, until a slave that interests them comes up.

You can also just orient the camera to view your character and the auctioneer, which is a better view than watching the audience.  It's not like any of the enslavement mods are actually going to use any of the bidders as your future master.

Sorry. I should've been more specific. I mean slaved men only who are also in the cage with the female character.

Ah, that's easier.  Those characters aren't needed for anything.  When you arrive in the slave pen, target the ones that you don't want in the console and use the "disable" command.  They'll be invisible for the rest of the game.

Thanks. Looks like another unknown lurker also needed that info.

Is there a mod that you can do the bidding in the slave market? or any plans to allow that in the mod?

This mod is just for selling the PC into slavery.  Buying slaves would be well outside the scope.

I that they may be the case, all the mods I have seen only offer PC to sell never to buy a slave, thought it would be cool addition. I would have to be its own mod for better results

Turned out that RavenBeak's patch for SS+ was overwriting this mods scripts and broke it. Once I disabled that patch, the mod worked as intended lol
