What I mean they are not working is that in the mod menu the mods refuse to register even after rescanning for them. I am using Skyrim Special edititon and I am using Simple Slavery Plus Plus 6.3.23 [SE - No ZAP]. I can't remember all of them right now, but I know I am using Public Whore, Deviously Accessible, Things in the Dark, Dark Desires Club, Devious Cidhna (the pirate quest. Those are the ones I can remember off the top of my head. Sorry if i am not more descriptive in my problems or issues.

Okay, let's check inside your game for those.  You can use the game's console for that.  Since you said you're new to this, you press the tilde (~) key to open the console command line.  Enter each of these commands and tell me if they find anything:

 

GetStage DvCidhna_Quest

GetStage atid1slave

GetStage PW__SolitudeQuest

GetStage _ddclubDarkDesiresClubQuest

 

Note that PW__SolitudeQuest has two underscores.

ok, I will try doing that would that still work with the enslavement functions from simple slavery?

This is just giving us information.  If those commands don't find the quests, then those mods (Public Whore, etc.) are not installed properly.

Since you are using Skyrim Special Edition, you should use that version of those mods and be sure that you have any prerequisites that those mods require.

Would you mind giving your version number? If you've just downloaded SE, you'll get AE 1.6.1170 without Steam/Bethesda telling you so.

This should not affect SS++, but might with the other mods, and the SKSE version you'd need to get things running.

 

(I've just started on AE and it's a nuisance finding the right versions. Took me more than 20 hours to get even close to where I want to be...)

I have 1.6.1170, and I assume that I have the wrong version of SS?

I think you have a correct version of Simple Slavery.

That is one of the correct versions of Simple Slavery to use with Skyrim 1.6.1170. The other correct version would be Simple Slavery Plus Plus 6.3.23 [SE].

Maybe I should I try downloading that one? I double checked the other mods, and I have the correct version of those. So I am out of possible ideas

So out if curiosity I decided to check Skyrim mod load order thing, and for a few of them it is saying I don't have the required files for them to be enabled. I triple checked and I have all the required files, the only thing I don't have to my knowledge is ConsoleUtil because there is an AE version of it. My guess is that I am stupid and missed something

here are links for SE versions. I'm currently on game version 1.6.1130 and they work fine. ConsoleUtilSSE NG and ConsolePlusPlus.

You don't have to have PlusPlus, but I like it because it lets you copy commands and then paste them into the console instead of retyping. It also remembers the last few commands when you exit the game so you can open the console and use the arrow key to search up.

Maybe, but unlikely. I went through and made sure I have every single required mod for the required mods after being told I was missing required files and the only thing I am missing are mods that are either incompatible with AE (I downloaded the AE compatible version) or are severally out of date and have been abandoned. So my only thought could be load order is messed up or I need to just delete most of them and reinstall.

UPDATE: I was able to get Devious Followers to work, but not the others yet. I am slowly yet surely making progress.

I have, ALL of the mods I've ever had to get simple slavery working, correct version of lovers lab, sluts resume, etc. I've installed all of them the same way I've done so in the past to where they were working properly. However, animations aren't loading, simple slavery plus plus isn't registering, and I haven't the faintest idea what's different? Did the game update? Do I need a special patch? I noticed Pompzi quit, maybe his mods broke? What am I missing here? 

 

Figured I'd hit you up, because you've been super helpful in the past, you're great, thank you for your previous help btw, and any future help you give.

I can't speak for other mods, but SS++ does not require any particular version of Skyrim.  No patches needed, and the only thing it requires is ZAP (which no requirements of its own) and Fuz Ro -D-oh (only for dialog text).  It sounds like a lot of your installation is messed up, which might have taken out ZAP, which would take down SS++ (unless you opted for the No ZAP version).  If you're on an older version of SE, you might need the BEES mod.  I suggest starting with a basic mod list, verify that it works, then add blocks of your mods back until you notice problems.

More general messed-upness.  You could ask in Practical Defeat's support topic, but if you're having this much trouble, starting simple then gradually building up to uncover the source of your woes will likely cause the other weird problems to disappear when you get that resolved.  In other words, don't chase symptoms, find the root problem.  It might just be one thing.
