I have walked into the Bee and Barb a couple of times, but still nothing happens.

That Quest would trigger the second time you enter the inn (after maramal held his speech) and should then unlock some new dialogue and the quest. The quest will be silent, only your follower knows about it

If you ignore it and dont help hashnil in time (even if you ignored the dialogue), the Quest will fail and the entire Quest line lost

Ill check on the conditions for the 2 DJf Events again

I went in the Bee and Barb after Maramal made his little speech, waited for something to happen, yet nothing happens. No dialogue. Nothing. It has been a while since then, but I'm pretty sure I tried everything. I don't know if that's because my affection level was at 2. This quest is supposed to unlock at affection level 1, so maybe it doesn't work if affection level is greater than 1?

I'm in the process of setting up a game with Joyful Followers installed. It's looking pretty promising :)

Is there any way I can control which followers are joyful and which are not? I was thinking I'd like to try having male followers Devious, and female followers Joyful. On first examination of the MCM, it doesn't look like there's a way to ensure a follower is not Joyful, is that correct? Is there some other way I can ensure a particular follower is/ is not Joyful?

Secondly - and independently of my previous question - if my character has multiple followers will they all be Joyful, or is a character limited to one Joyful follower at a time?

IIRC, there was advice somewhere to not have a follower be Joyful and Devious at the same time - but if there's a way to have one of each that'd be pretty cool.

The Debug Dialogue should have an Option like that, to permanently exclude a Follower from the mod

one at a time

that was pointed at one follower being both, devious & joyful as the personalities are like polar opposites and some features overlap

There is no harm in having 2 followers with one being joyful and the other devious

Is this mod still getting active development or not anymore?

Not abandoned, but my muse left me

Ill try to fit one update between Yamete V4 and SLUTS V3 which will fix the bugs that have been reported thus far, finish Below the College, add one little Quest for Harshnil and add one more Challenge but then my idea pool is kinda dried out, aye

Everything else is wishy washy without clear pathways on how to do things

Ooooo. This happens sometimes. I hope you are ok .

First the health and then whatever you like.

By the way : I love your mod.

Hi there,

I'm trying this the 1st time, Beta 4, on SE. So far everything is fine.

There is one thing though, which I think could be a bit more logical, the Sleepy/Tired debuff. I have to sleep literally for whole days to get rid of it. Is this intentional? To be honest feels like a bug.

Peace,

M

The Fatigue buff should only take 11~12 hours to completely reset itself (and if I remember correctly takes multiple days to stack to a point where it gets to that point)

Fatigue Debuff doesnt exactly get a whole lot of neutral comments in general, might want to get rid of it, though not sure what to replace it with. JF needs some sort of stat to express how mentally fit the player is. Perhaps just making it a different toggle altogether? Maybe just a regular stat that isnt affected by time, but then how would you decrease it, eh

The Debuff itself is intended to just show you that its there, in a way its a Fragment from the previous iterations to make sure you realize when Fatigue is low since that was intended to be quite impactful, which it probably wont ever be going forward. Yet still, even when removing the Debuff I wouldnt want to give the impression like you could just completely ignore it. Ayah...

Then I think there is some minor bug here. According to MCM the character's tiredness was Wake (1) and she still had a 5 point Debuff. That was after 24 hours of sleep.

Generally I am completely okay with a debuff like this, it just doesn't seem working correctly.

Hi Scrab,

I think I found an issue with Headless chicken. If you need to advance in a dungeon by destroying spiderweb (like in the dungeon in Markath to kill Nimha, the spider), you are stuck. Or is there a way to destroy the spiderweb while in chicken mode?

Peace,

M

Do I disable player controls in those challenges? I thought I only monitor if youre using a weapon. You should be allowed to use your fists. Otherwise maybe your Follower can help?

Hi Scrab,

I deactivated all money related stuff in MCM, yet the My Cut event fired anyway. I had this event enabled before and it ran once, but after the follower came back, I disabled it. I doublechecked it, it was indeed disabled when the event fired.

Can I make event suggestions?
If at all feasible (Inspired by sexist guards mod and DF comments):
- follower typing up player in a dungeon and letting Draugr have some fun

- I remember there was a bandit castle somewhere with a big fighting cage... that could be... re-purposed for a different kind of pitwolf-vs-woman and the follower could volunteer the PC for a few rounds xD

I have a hard time triggering events. I've been with that follower for a while, but nothing happens. I sleep regularly in town and outside of town, I do most dungeons, to no avail. The only thing I had trigger was a challenge when entering volunruund. I gave her enough gift to reach level 3. But nothing happens. I've been on this save for 23 hours now.

I use NFF and it's loaded after joyful. The help also say I should be able to trigger challenge by asking when entering dungeons, but she doesn't have a dialogue for it.

I took that out afaik, I felt it might cause a burnout too quickly if you could forcetrigger them constantly

If its still noted somewhere I forgot to remove it

Also lack of Content is the main reason why JF is in beta, there isnt a whole lot to do against that other than increasing the event chances and forcing them utilizing the event table on the first page. my pardon

No worries, I was mostly worried I had missed something. I removed devious follower because I don't like how they consistently stop your advance and prevent you as player to keep going for the content.

I took joyful because I wanted something more episodic that could make me feel like they were people more than just moving bags. I don't know if I messed something up that it never trigger in cities or when I sleep despite me having maxed odds to see if it worked. But the one interaction I had with this mod was exactly what I was hoping. An NPC actively asking to do something. Not just "I have a quest for you as part of my mod" but a "Hey. While we're here, let's do this for once, to break the monotony". That was a nice change from the tedium ^^
