Hm... i had this nice mod already running (even did a video ? ) but than i obviously messed it up. And i do not know how ?

I see some errors in the papyruslog (see GallowsError.log file enclosed) but i do not manage to make it run again.

Maybe someone can give me a hint.

EDIT: OK, i found my mistake. I need ZAZ7 AND ZAZ8, right? I deleted ZaZ 7 because i thought the 8-version is enough.

EDIT2: Nope, had the error again. Searched a bit and found the following:

After i run FNIS the mod "360 Movement Behavior" does not work any longer, but Gallows works.

If i than reinstall the "360 Movement Behavior" mod without a FNIS run... the "360 Movement Behavior" mod works but Gallows does not work any longer. 

So, it seems that both together do not work?

 Zap7 and Zap8 are quite incompatible as far as i know. Zap8 is fully sufficient for this mod to work. Never had anything else installed myself.

Looking over your log, it seems there is a problem with Zap´s Bondageshell script. This thing causes your character to look afraid when equipping cuffs, so this will be referenced when using the Gallow.

You most likely got some conflict with an older version of zap or Zairas ZazExtensionPack.

I would recommend cleanig all of that, and then do a clean reinstall of Zap8.

Thank you for the information! It does run without ZAZ7.

It seems that the problem is together with the mod "360 Movement Behavior". After a FNIS run this mod does not work (but Gallows works). And if i reinstall the "360 Movement Behavior" mod without a FNIS run, the "360 Movement Behavior" mod works but Gallows does not work any longer.

 

For me now, that know what to do it is OK. But it is weird, isn't it?

ZAP 7 AND ZAP 8(plus) is not working together. And if you have installed both, I would delete both after each other. And then I would take care that NOTHING is left somewhere inside of the used folders->manual check.

 

After that you can install one pack of your choice. ZAP has MOSTLY no patches.

And then your last game safe should bring you back to the point before it worked so far.

Don´t trouble, don´t panic, this is not so difficult to do, ZAP is a quite BRAVE mod.

 

Check out the animation and the behavior folders to become CLEANED after the delete: so that no ZAP stuff is housing there !!!!

 

NEVER USE ZAP TWICE / OR AS DOUBLE PACKS

Just checked that thing and saw that it replaces the entire Behaviour-masterFile, rather than using the FNIS way, which makes it absolutely incompatible with FNIS-based Mods (even says so in its own description.)

 

MUST highly recommend NOT to use that mod. It will only keep causing compatibility issues with other mods for you.

Until the Nemesis behaviour engine works stable, you should just get some alternative animation files.

@donkeywho I have heavy load order. It may be Interactive BDSM because it let's player and npc interact with NPCs who are using ZAZ furniture torture them. Sometimes when there was nearby NPC and I used the gallow the NPC would break the hanging event because it used features of interactive BDSM.

@Pamatronic Thank you updating to proper SL Defeat fixed the issue. There are issues though we hanging corpse spinning indefinitely this is connected to Nether's Follower Framework. I set follower in NFF's MCM to be not essential but they will still not die. I can hang Sofia fine without any issues. Also there is a problem hanging more than one NPCs on the same loading. You're better off loading a save game again or better to quit the game altogether and load the save.

MUST highly recommend NOT to use that mod. It will only keep causing compatibility issues with other mods for you.

... i also found the error in my "Dancing Penis" mod that some NPCs cumshot and some did not (new version 2.4 ? ).

This is just a hunch, but with a load order that size, you scriptload is propably reaching its limits as well, At least thats what it looks like in the first video.

And since my mod causes quite a bit of scriptload itself during use, i guess its only natural that things wont run as smooths as one might want to.

 

The indefinite spinning is actually my fault. its caused by the non-symmetric wait animation during the first phase. I´m propably gonna replace it at some point.

the undying followers are a tricky thing. the "invulnerability" often carrys through savegames, even when the respective mod has been disabled.

usually the script instances responsible for this are updated/deleted after 30 ingame days, so if you are lucky, this problem resolves itself.

This is new game and nothing was set up except the basics like SL. I can probably lower script lag by setting up various MCM I've done it on past heavy load orders and it helped a lot to reduce script lag. 

 

With this hanging mod I would recommend using Sexlab Submit since it allows you force surrendered hostile npcs to follow the player.

 

@Pamatronic Bashed Patch has setting to change respawn from 30 days to X days would it be possible to use this setting to reduce 30 days reset to less?

Not sure if this is a problem on my end or not, but any ragdolled characters perpetually rotate on the noose. One of the bound hands continually twitches, almost like it provides propulsion for the rotating.

 

Maybe I could generate electricity from this...

Yep, on one one game I've got the spinning twitchy handed corpses

Try to save and load the game in different location and walk up to the corpse to see if it is still spinning.

Tested. The reusable rope is just what I need for my project. You made an amazing work !

There is some stability problems, but that's not a big deal.

 

You should speak with tara for implement this script into ZAZ.

 

And also, there are the guillotine, the garrot, the execution block... lot of things to do (I wish to keep the hand of the victime attached with the choping block anim).

My latest tests, which again unfortunately resulted in my bouncing bambinos bashing their bonces on the woodwork whilst bashfully reequipping their base garments, were on a game with ...

 

   no Defeat,

   no SRX followers, and

   with or without Realistic Ragdolls and Force,

 

Every one logged errors right at the start, with the very first entry consistently mentioning an error re Reference (0xaannf091) not having a node named Vert06,  where aann is 0xcc or 0xcd and seems to be my mod load order location of your mod with, or without, the Realistic Ragdolls and Force esp also in play

Would it be possible to blame/frame the follower for the crimes player committed? That feature would be awesome tailed for the evil guy playthrough. Getting annoying followers hanged hehehe. :D

I don't know. I never expected to continue prison overhaul or make something compatible with it...

And I saw in prison overhaul there is a fiel named "capital penalty". So the author planned executions...

Something just caught my eye in the ZAP 9.0 topic, and I was curious. When t.ara pasted a link to this topic, one of my images was embedded in the link:

 

 

Now, I'm certainly not complaining - in fact, it brought a smile to my face, and anything that does that is good in my book. After donning my deerstalker and investigating this curious case, it seems that the first image posted in a topic will always appear in embedded links to that topic. (Only the topic, not the file itself.)

 

@Pamatronic if you would prefer to have one of your own images used, maybe try adding one to the opening post? Do feel free to leave it as it is though.

I like that idea. But something like this would have to be done by someone who is familiar with questscripting. Thats not exactly my field of expertise.

Currently working on the Garotte and its seems promising.

I mentioned this earlier, but the guillotine will be difficult to realize. that would require some entirely new techniques, just as the Gallow itself. I do have a few possible starting points, but this will most likely take a while.

 

For the vanilla beheading Block:

scripts for such a scene already exist. if you want the Actors hands to remain tied, Call the following line of code immediatly AFTER he died:

game.addHavokBallAndSocketConstraint(victim, "NPC L Hand [LHnd]",victim, "NPC R Hand [RHnd]",0,0,0)

victim being an ActorReference.

 

easiest way would be to put this into the OnDeath() Event of a script attached to an actorAlias. Pretty sure the beheading Scene uses such an alias anyway.

Well that looks a bit like the errors that i got (see my mail above). In my case i had a problem with the mod "360 Movement Behavior" that is not compatible with the Gallows mod.

Looking at your video again, i think you messed up something during installation.

1. your character is playing the wrong animation (which suggests that my mod is loaded before Zap. you need to load it AFTER)

2. you are using the wrong Rope (which suggest that my mod is loaded before Heretical ressources. Again, you need to load it AFTER HH)

the original rope from HH does in fact not have a 6. Node, therefore the error in your log. (this doesnt interfere with Ragdoll though)

 

3. the Problems with your Ragdolls/redressing are caused by some script attached to followers.

This is with 98% certainty NOT caused by a ragdolls/physics mod. The Reason is most likely a follower overhaul or other followermod that makes changes to the followersystem.

I´m afraid you might have to do some cleanup to find the exact mod which is causing this. might even be some old remnants which arent controlled by your modmanager.

Thats actually pretty close to the truth. No problem on your end though.

Its caused by the non-symmetric animation during the first phase. using the wheel before pulling the lever should minimize this.
