Devious Followers - Continued SE

I think I ran into a problem I ran to Jenassa and I used the option to have a debt of 500 and recruited her. I also have survival installed yet when I talk to Jenassa their is no option to get license's through her.

Edit: it seems dismissing the follower one more time (perhaps somewhat different phrase, like "I don't need your services") removes them for good.

@Lupine00, @HexBolt8 I'm hoping you can help me.

I'm having an issue with my DF not staying Devious. SSE v 1.5.97.

I am using  Devious Followers - Continued SE v2.14.4 (upgraded from 2.14.3). This is my first time using Submissive Lola, v 2.0.51 (started w/ 2.0.45), which is why I tagged you Hex, in case you had some insights.

My current vanilla follower is Teldryn Sero (after I finished his quest from the mod 'Teldryn Serious Enhanced Edition'). Mogrul said I inherited whats-it's debt, TS said he was going to follow me until he got his share (liked that touch). Fine. Showed up in MCM as my DF.

Went to Apocyphra, when I returned TS was no longer my DFC. The MCM said I had no DF, but recognized TS as my vanilla follower.

I used the debug option to get the dialog, and we started again.

BTW, I do not currently have a SubLola follower/master.

Went to Windhelm, started the quest 'Blood on the Ice'. Incurred some debt. Made a deal. Then, while running around Windhelm, I talked to TS and there was no DF dialog. Checked MCM, and sure enough, I didn't have a DF, just a VF, and a deal still in play.

I'm not sure what's wrong. This run has been remarkably CTD-free.

 

This isn't the first follower this game where a DF continually became non-DF. However, that follower was Thorald Gray-Mane (I converted the LE mod), so I wasn't sure if he counted as vanilla even though I think his ai package was mostly vanilla. Thorald was my Lola master for a long time, no issues that I recall. I wasn't sure if he could be both a DF and a LM (Lola Master), so I attributed his not staying a DF to either possibly not being completely vanilla or to his being a LM, or both.

Thorald and Teldryn have been my only vanillas. Except maybe a couple of very brief DF's via Simple Slavery that I quickly paid off and dismissed. Even those were so long ago that they could be from a previous pt. I'm over 400 hours into this one.

 

EDIT:  I can save with DF, deals and/or debt. When I reload same save, I have the deals and/or debt, but no Devious Follower.

 

Any help or suggestions will be appreciated.

If you're not enslaved by SubLola, the only thing running in that mod is the MCM, so it wouldn't interfere in any way.

Re my earlier post about followers not staying DF. It's still true in the normal course of events ...

 

BUT

 

If I disable the mod in the MCM Debug tab, Save, and Re-enable the mod and play then I can maintain my DF status if I have to reload. So far deals, debt, and DF have stuck when I loaded a save and unpaused the mod. It's a couple of extra steps but better than constant debugging, adding debt, etc.

I've been having problems with any of my followers getting me licenses for a while. It takes forever for the dialogue to show up and then it only gives me the option to select one license for them to manage and then there is never another option. If I set the mod for "auto" manage the licenses it just doesn't happen.

and i pay all dept for that, but she didn't give me a key for plug.

 

do i have to pay for unlock the plug?

is this modder want it to be??

If you get a locking plug, you're just going to have to find some way to remove it. The plug you're given is completely random, so sometimes you just get one that locks.

Yes. I had the same issue. If you go into the MCM for devious followers there is an option to disable hdt effects for the chain. It causes a CTD and I don't know if there's an actual fix yet. Disable the chain and you can continue to play.

Hey! So I am having a problem with the dialogue option:

When my Follower becomes my Mistress/Master it shouldn't be possible to send them away, right?

When I click in dialogue: "I don't need your help any longer" it works fine and she ignores it.
but
When I click in dialogue: "It's time to part ways" she says: Ok, you can find me at xxx and moves away?!

Is this intented? Feels kind of broken to me?

Also player shouldn't be able to give her commands like wait here or trade with me, does anything exist to turn this off?

I fixed it by using Cathedral assets optimizer on the LE version, then overwriting the textures into the SE version

This mod continues to be awesome. I don't know if it's serendipity, or if it's actually planned but...

 

My character messed up, got defeated, and sold on via SS++ (and her female followers sold into slavery via the new Follower Slavery Mod). Her buyer is a DFC follower, and she starts in slavery.

 

Takes a bit to get my bearings, but if she makes enough money she can buy out of slavery, get to the DFC deal stage, and - hopefully - work her way to freedom. Great.

 

It's slow and difficult, but she's getting there through a combination of prostitution (which is tough for a Mara follower) and carefully calibrated dungeoneering.

 

Finally finally she has a good run which will - on selling what she's carrying - put her over the amount required to buy out of slavery. Joyous day!

 

But wait... she's can't sell? Oh no, her follower put a gag on her (so no selling) and requires her to fuck ten strangers before he takes it out. It's a fucking epic dashing of hopes right there. Perfect timing... especially as Love Sickness  and SLS orgasm fatigue is going to make things a lot harder (ahem) for my girl.

I'm having a weird situation whereby dismissing a Devious Follower stops them from getting licenses when they're re-employed (or seems to, at least). Turning the magic and armor licenses back on through the dialog works for those, but I feel like I'm still missing a weapon license. Is there something that can be done to 'kick' the licensing process, or reset the licenses that are required? She's only just gotten the armor and magic licenses, but no armor license (and I currently have a clothes license, so I've yet to see how that goes).
