Wow, thanks. Why does this always happen to me, things don't work my way lol.

This was exactly the problem I found the 1st time I follow the tutorial, sometimes is up to misleading or unspecific info.

I guess you were following this tuto https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/104459?tab=description

Animation Backport Tutorial

You must set properly this file: converttoskyrim.bat

SET DIR_HKO=*PUT HERE THE RIGHT PATH OF THIS FILE*

Quote
  1. Make sure the paths are set properly (description). Note that the file SkyrimRefrence.hko is misspelled. Also make sure it was properly downloaded as a hko file. Some people report that placing hctStandAloneFilterManager.exe and SkyrimRefrence.hko in the same folder fails to convert.

Yes, that's the tutorial I followed.
Thing is, I did set the SET DIR_HKO to where I saved it. Here's my location address for everything.
SET DIR_EXE=F:\Skyrim mods\HavokAnimationConverter\HavokContentTools

SET DIR_HKO=F:\Skyrim mods\SkyrimRefrence

Or is it because it's all in drive F so the software got confused?

Does the tutorial on the first page cover everything to do with backporting bodies and bodyslide files from SSE to LE? or is there more I'll have to do?

For Bodyslide presets, you don't need to. for other parts of the body (ShapeData folder), see a page back the tutorial of @Harvald

Have you created "SkyrimRefrence" folder and put all files there?

You're supposed to point to the folder containing files, not to the file itself.

I've put .hko file, .bat file and all animation files into the same folder, added folder address into the file, then ran .bat - worked like a charm.
Are you using x64 version of HavokContentTools?

You might also try to remove spaces from folder names.

On the side note, maybe someone can help me out with converting behavior files? FNIS for modders gives me this: ERROR(2020): No match between folder name and filename. No idea what it means

If you mean "Put the files I want to convert with SkyrimRefrence.hko": Yes. Doesn't work anyway.
Yes, I use the x64 version, because that's what the tutorial said. Doesn't work.

So you proposed put everything together, here's my new address.

SET DIR_EXE=F:\Skyrim mods\HavokAnimationConverter\SkyrimRefrence\HavokContentTools

SET DIR_HKO=F:F:\Skyrim mods\HavokAnimationConverter\SkyrimRefrence

Still doesn't work.

Does anybody have any info on backporting SMP outfits from SE to LE? I tried porting [Rektas] Luna BHUNP and while the SMP does seem to work just fine, it also seems to have some bones that are freaking out. Pic related.

Node constraints and ranges have to be identical, not next nearest or any other batch conversion horseshit. Better off directly copying them into a converted nif.

Same goes for the xml. LE supports 300 nodes, SSE only supports 79, so if the nif is multipart, you need to adjust things accordingly.

Would you mind attaching a screenshot showing this off? I'm not quite sure what you're referring to in the nif here, but once I know where to find what I need I'll be able to copy it all over just fine I think. Normally I would just re-rig this thing, but I want to learn how to actually fix this stuff properly since it's probably quicker, and I hate rigging. Sorry for the bother, I've pretty much never dealt with SMP stuff before this.
