I have not checked to see if this was already brought up, but I am having issues with having this mod work with the mod for Sofia the funny fully voiced follower. I have no idea on how to fix this issue, please help.

It would help if you told us what those "issues" are, exactly.

the issues I have been having with the sofia mod not working with YAS SE is that when I would get near whiterun the game would CTS and if I could get to Sofia she would have no head and human body model and then CTS. I removed the Sofia mod from my load order and the game works fine.

So adding more bones might be more of a problem than we thought.

I notice that ASOS does not include its own version of skeleton.hkx, so presumably the additional bones can be mapped to animation nodes in the SOS auxbones skeleton without the need for mapping in the base skeleton.

Isn't that thread about Fallout 4 (and the ZeX Skeleton in particular) and not Skyrim, though?

I imagine it's a limit of the Creation Engine itself - in order for skeletal animations to work, the skeleton pose must be transmitted to the shader on the GPU, so there's always a hard limit on how many animated nodes you can have (shaders won't allow for abstract array sizes).

I don't believe in it. If it's still happening, repost plz.

Well, here you go... The feet seem angled ever so slightly back. Also, the tails seem to need repositioning on the males. ?

OK, so that helps. Yes, I've reworked the feet to be more vertical, like YA 9. Dunno if I got that into YA... the version comments on the OP should indicate. (Yes, I could look, but I'm a few glasses of Calvados in and I'm working on FO4 now anyway). If it's not there now I'll get it in when I next do updates.

Tails, ya, well, HDT is a bear. I keep reweighting the tail base to match the small of the back and somehow it doesn't stick.

None of the changelogs mention otherwise. ?

Hi, having a problem. I installed the all 5 parts of this mod and am trying to get it working, but I am experiencing an issue that you have stated in your troubleshooting section, and try as hard as I might, nothing is working. It's the issue where none the the vanilla races have properly textured bodies, just the new heads, and there are no tails on anybody. Interestingly though, high elf does work, they have the right textures, just no tails and incorrectly textured hands. I poured over the order of the mods and the what files are overwriting what, but nothing worked out. Granted I could have easily missed something but I'm not sure. I'm going to try and completely retry installing it again tomorrow, but any advice would be a appreciated. If it helps, I use vortex and cbbe.

Late loaders? as in just putting them further down the load list or is that a special designation?

Actually as it turns out, that worked, I forcibly placed all the esp's basically at the bottom of the load list and it worked, something I've never had to do before, even when I used this mod in oldrim but hey, at least it works. Though I am now met with a problem I had with oldrim, some characters have normal looking bodies, but their heads are significantly darker than the rest of them? This a typical issue?

You really don't read, do you?

1) Install YA compatibility patches for mods that add new NPCs

2) Run the SSEdit furrifyer script yourself over your mod list and run facegen via the CK

3) Or just be a lazy pleb like me, skip steps 1+2 and install https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/42441 and the usual crash fixes and hope for the best (SSE get pissy and crashy when the head tris mismatch but it's limping along well enough here so whatevs)

EDIT: Linked the wrong mod. Fixed now. You'll have some mismatched colored heads (mostly on wood elves) but it's MUCH better than without it.

The input provided by the0fromnexus is pretty accurate (and their snark is warranted since you don't seem to read indeed).

...the only part that is not correct is this one:

The mod you want for that is actually Face Discoloration Fix. Won't make non-YA-patched NPCs look good (i.e. they will still use the human colors/tints so chances are they will look weird as hell), but should at least make it so they don't get the Black Face Bug.

Hello!  I have a couple of bugs to report.

1) The vampire meals in Castle Volkihar have incorrect texture paths leading to them glowing white.  Kreittis on YA Discord fixed the pathing and I used NifOptimizer to convert to SE, zip is included with both versions, however, the female head is still lit incorrectly for some reason we were not able to determine and might need to be replaced with a newer version.

2) The female tiger head is set to HeadPartsBeastRaces so it shows up in the character creator slider for all races with some hilarious body horror results.  I found that setting Male/FemaleMouthHumanoidDefault to "Non-Playable" removed it from these sliders too.

As always, thanks for all your hard work!  YA is an amazing piece of work and I definitely wouldn't have started modding without it.  Is this a good place to report bugs like this if I find future ones?
