Thanks man updating it fixed it, not sure how I got the outdated version in the first place.  The custom eyes you mention are the better eyes for human, apex, and avian races.  All I did was replace them in the correspondent sexbound folder and that causes no issues, at least for myself.

man! good work with this mod, of course there is still a lot to do but everything in due time, because it is barely going through 0.1.8 and there are still many monsters missing and it is an exhausting job but little by little improvements will come i congratulate you on this mod

Yeah, so looks like I have the same problem as Barrennight (enemies become invincible after one attack) but I don't really have any other mods installed.

Only mobs affected by TeratoDefeat are affected and removing the mod fixes it.

 

I'm new here and I'm still trying to figure out how to add attachments so I'm gonna insert the starbound.log into a spoiler (It's not that long and I'll edit it when I figure it out)

Ay, thanks for putting it in a spoiler at least. Not the usual but this works fine.

... this is odd, you ONLY have local mods, like Sexbound, Defeat, TeratoDefeat and Teratophilia itself... And yet it's erroring as if Defeat wasn't working... I mean, this would mean that Defeat itself also wouldn't be working, but Defeat IS working, right...?

Might have to inspect Defeat and see why this keeps happening.

I think he's wondering why he can't do it with what I assume is a green smoglin more likely a poison smoglin and the onion monster is prolly a bulflop or mandraflora despite the mod working. I dunno what the 43 is for though....

Smoglin has the number 43 in the starbounder wiki's monster list, maybe they meant that?

Uh.... Poison Smoglin should be working unless something new broke. Wouldn't be surprised but i'm currently bashing some new mods, as part of a small team, and won't be able to jiggle (Or fix) this one just yet.  As for Mandraflora and Bulbops, they aren't supported yet. Honestly no clue how to approach Mandraflora, it's BLOODY MASSIVE and has a very hard-to-match body shape.

Can't you just use tentacles for it? Have the main body be static and use tentacles coming from it's head (the only par that it could make sense)?

That falls under the main complaint people have with monster porn! (Believe it or not, it's something i've been commended on before), that is, the "tentacle dick" thing is the lazy way out, as it has no characteristics from the monster in question most of the time. Basically, picture Bulbasaur from Pokémon. It's moves are tentacle-based because the pokémon itself has barely any joints, or particularly usable limbs, and the "lore" behind the seed on it's back is loosely used if at all. I'm looking to make it seem more like these creatures could/would breed in normal scenarios, without "hentai magic" to turn everything into tentacles.

But alas, as much as i said all of that, some of the monsters really are impossible to work with otherwise.

Well what else can you do? You're pretty much limited here by not only by the engine but by creature design as well, the best you can do is similarly colored monster parts. Not to mention the spritework. They can complain all they want but they're not doing the work so they can shut up.

 

That and monster sex has very little variation anyways. It's either tentacles, large dicks, unsually  shaped gruesome dicks or multiple dicks. With the latter 3 being very much the same with at times all of them at once with a single monster. That and monster sex is all about the brutal rough sex and all that comes with it anyways.

 

Besides as I've said; limited by design and looking at the Flora you are really limited in choice here. It's a large bulb monster with 4 stubby legs and two large leaves. You can with tentacles or a large dick that awkwardly comes from below. Or if you can, have the thing open a large gruesome mouth and use it's tounge... though that's still very tentacle like.

 

And if the Mandaflora is already a problem look at some of the other monsters. I mean the Miasmop is a round creature with weird holes for hair, dimples and a mouth. What miledge can you get for that? Then there's the Wisper, Pulpin and Hypnare. Both have weird bodies that you can't wrap your head on about on how to rule 34 those things.

Feel like you maybe projecting a little bit too much there. Not sure you've seen the animations for some of the monsters, but they're silly, like, outright dumb. Like the Snaunt's face. I'm not doing "All horror dicks", neither "all brutal rough sex". Never have been.

Your point started off pretty good, but then lost traction when you started mentioning the other monsters. Not sure you've seen some of the other monsters i've worked on. They feature some complex bodies, and at times, it's indeed hard to work with, but that's part of the fun and challenge. It's a take on the monster's coitus that isn't just "Big angry creature <R-word> humanoids". Miasmop being a ball isn't a problem. Gleaps and Nutmidgelings were already done, and they are just literal orbs, bean-bag chairs that hop along. Pulpin is a octopus-jellyfish hybrid, great and easy to wrap my head around for animations, Hypnare i honestly hate to look at because of how soulless it looks but otherwise also easy to work with.

I want to throw in my hat into the ring here with a possible idea for the Mandraflora that I just came up with (Though, issues might arise with anyone that isn't a 2-some), is instead of it doing the fuckin', it uses more Bulbops? That's the only idea I have.

 

I also want to say that I made some alternate variants to the monsters already supported which I was surprised wasn't in yet. I'll be happy to send over the file, though I do want to ask if I just literally send over the folder of both actor artworks?

I'll gladly take contributions, i've already made another monster myself, though it wasn't on the list. I'm usually only working on the uniques when i'm done and satisfied with the results of a support though. Nutmidge's "new shell" makes it more annoying to work around, while the Scandroid's support wasn't finished when released.

And hey, the Mandraflora idea isn't bad, but kinda defeats the purpose of one-on-one monster supports. I wouldn't be against it as a unique threesome animation exclusive to that monster, but guaranteeing that it will work as intended is beyond me lol
