The hitboxes can be a bit wonky during animations. Theres an option that stops animations if they are hit or if they see another hostile. Try that.

So, what are the options for Bandits you've "Defeated"?  You can, of course, kill them.  Then I was told you can turn them over to the guard for a bounty.  I've done that only to see that the bandit you handed over dies immediately afterward.  No time in prison just immediate death.  Kind of defeats the purpose of being merciful.  Am I missing something?

That's about it. You can keep them tied up and try and get people to pay to have sex with them but I never found anyone who didnt just call the guards or tell me no. It's a rape mod so there isnt really any moral route.

i suppose this is a good place to ask. Dose anyone get the glitch where if defeat "fucked" something up, you would get permanent peaceful on enemies. they would go hostile for a second then revert back to peaceful. i was able to fix this by getting one of them to rape my PC. mashing the surrender key as i attack them. after they fucked me the became unfucked when I attack them turning hostile without reverting back to peaceful.

 

A second glitch is with followers. they keep saying ... when I try to talk to them. usually after getting an incomplete glitched defeat. i don't know how to fix this one.

The second one can be fixed with a command. Click them and type kill (they should be essential) which knocks them down. Then you should get some options when talking to them. Sometimes it glitches further but after waiting a few hours they will get up.

Dont resurrect them. In my experience it resets their inventory.

It has to do with their morality so decent people will call the guards but npc's with low morality will accept your offer. I don't know much about the morality in Skyrim but try it with sketchier types away from cities and you'll have more success. 

 

Speaking of which, anymore when I unbag an NPC they fall through the ground and disappear. No idea what's causing that. I know it can happen with generic NPCs added by some mods but it's happening all the time to me.

good to know but is there anyway to prevent ether one? also, adding to the first one, Trying to sex with a n incompatible race also makes hostiles unhostile, specifically Potema's remains is somehow an incompatible creature.

No knowledge of how to keep it from happening I'm afraid. What race is her remains considered? I didnt think the mod would let you have sex with some thing that is incompatible. Like if you dont have creature framework in place, you just die to animals.

no clue. she uses Draugr animation with a skeleton face and human lower body.

Got a problem: encountered and killed a couple of necromancers, but after the fight Lydia (only follower ATM) just stands in place and refuses to follow. I have "NPC vs NPC" enabled, including "NPC vs followers", but there was no assault during the fight and no notifications. Could be that I killed the enemies right before a scene triggered, I suppose.

 

I tried dismissing/rehiring the follower, wait/follow, console "enable/disable", "resetAI" and "recycleactor", resetting/disabling SL Defeat - nothing worked.

The only culprit I can think of is Nether's Follower Framework that I'm using, and in its MCM I can see that Lydia is currently affected by "Current AI Package: 57073575" and "Package AI Quest: DEFEATNPCREFRESHQST", which led me to believe it has something to do with SL Defeat.

 

Last save was only a short while ago, so I'll just reload, but if it happened once, it's bound to happen again, so I'm not sure how to deal with it. Should I ditch NFF and use EFF? Has anyone had something like this with EFF as well?

So I'm having an issue where I talk to my follower and all he says is "..."
I tried killing him with the console as suggested, but it does absolutely nothing, he just stares deeply at my soul while saying "..."
I noticed that if I disable "Player as Victim", I can speak to him normally again, but if I enable it back, he turns back to saying "..."
Using the options hotkey to clean up the mod does nothing too.
The only solution I found was to uninstall the mod, save the game and install it back, but then I have to reconfigure everything! And it takes so long! And what am I supposed to do if it happens again? Uninstall it again?
I'd be glad if anyone could help.

Not normal, but I'm not sure what to do in this situation.

I sometimes see your problem,, usually I test defeat options, with my follower (I sneak and  atack them sometimes ^^;)

or I stop animation when follower are atacked by enemy etc..  (NPC vs NPC)

 

I suppose actually you killed enemy untill animation start.. then rydia in under controll of this mod quest, 

Most of case, I could reset defeat by use option menu, then dismiss follower once,,and re-employ, suddenly they return as follower.

but sometimes, she just stop same plcae forever. 

 

About this case, I usually need to return old save data again.  so it is not only about NFF,, but it may happen even though you do not use any follower mod I suppose so.

( EFF can force NPC re-employ when problem happen from MCM menu, sometimes it work well.. but I may not hope to test it about skyrim default followers)

Yes I could easy reproduce this issue.. (follower stop to move and stand just keep same posing)

 

1. order follower to sleep 

2. I activate with G key

3 I pick her in my nupsack

4 I release her.

5 She knoced down on the ground

6 I order her to remove cloth etc

7 I attack her for sex

8 she against me,, then I seems knocekd down (no animation start,,,,),, then I try to attack her again, but nothing happen,, 

   she just posing cover her nude body with hands,, but I can ask her to follow me etc as EFF follower

9  So I order,, "relax" or "follow" etc,, she reply me,, but do not move at all, stay there with cover her body...

10 I try force recet NPC with EFF,, but not work... (I can see usuall dialogue about emproy,, then she repry,, but do not move,, at all

and I can not attack (deeat) again...

 

I suppose if there is console command, which stop or finish current quest of NPC?

Ok I could return her.

 

You dismiss her once from your mod ,or dialogue. (if you can)

(actually I use Estrus,, if it can return her,, but not,, so after animatijon finish,, and return her conscious,  I dismiss her)

then you can sneak her from back, and atack,, she will be knoced out,, then release her..  as if there is nothing,, she return as same as before,,

then emproy again.. as for me it worked...   (Yes I forget this way,, but it seems reset defeat quest)  and may be it should work about redia,, I suppose so.

(I actually did samething when I got this problem with defeat , just forget way to solve..)

It does have an esp file, you've made some fundamental error during install. Make sure you downloaded the correct version and try installing again.

Anyone else having a problem when you open Defeat in the MCM it says Disabled and when clicking it a box appears saying initializing... etc. im not sure if ive missed anything

It is usuall  process, as default Defeat is disable, untill you activate from MCM menu.  (once you save game  data, current setting remain)

Now, I'm probably not the first person to have this issue and whatnot, but Defeat's menu isn't showing up in the MCM list. I've followed all the guides I can find to fix this, but then I noticed that Vortex is saying my version of Defeat is for "a different version of the game." I play Skyrim SE, and the version of Defeat I have is for SE. Not sure what I've done wrong, or maybe I've been impatient (though I've waited in-game from the beginning time of 9AM to 10:30AM, and most say only to wait 15 in-game minutes), or maybe I need to start from a clean save? Here's my load order, any help or suggestions would be highly appreciated.

It's very very easy to download the wrong version because of the way the OP is written and about every other post is someone who downloaded the oldrim version. Make sure you click on "View File" in the OP, then  the green download button.

I'm decently sure I downloaded the right version, though I did make that mistake the very first time I downloaded the mod. I've played with the mod before, the whole not showing up in MCM is a new development.
