SkyrimLL/DeepBlueFrog mods conversion to SSE

Sexlab parasite.
I got ctd when going to temple of kynareth (aka the temple in whiterun). I have checked the replace priest robe option and I think that cause the problem. Are there anyway to fix it.
Edit: after some investigate i found that the problem is coming from Danicia also with the robe replace. I tried cleaning save and re-register mod but in the mcm the robe replace setting still get checked.

this is after i had help from the healer in white run, i learned how to remove them which i still cant remove them my self, it gives me 3 options to remove and when i use the squeeze option it nothing comes up, use the pull option it says they are to deep and then carry on is the last option

These options should have been cleared with the last version. 

The version of Parasites currently in the first post of this thread is from March. You should wait until someone converts the one from July, or the next one coming up in a few weeks.

Having a slight bit of trouble with SD. Sleeping in front of the shrine of Sanguine doesn't teleport me to the dreamworld. The quest "The Truth" pops up telling me to sleep, I do, and afterwards I'm still there, and a second later the objective once again pops up and tells me to sleep in front of the shrine. Any tips would be appreciated.

The error log should have a breakdown of what happened while you sleep and why you were not sent to Dreamworld.

 

The most common cause is that the mod is not properly started. 

 

When you launch SD+ on a new or existing game, you have to let the messages run their course, save, exit, reload and wait for a second wave of messages to run their course.

I'm also pretty sure I installed the mod correctly as you mentioned, waited for messages, saved, quit, waited again, etc. I also tried again on a completely new character, same result.

Can't remember if this was mentioned but current SSE version of Parasites does not seem to work with SLIF. Not sure if this is something that would be resolved in the July update when it comes.

Using the CBBE/3BBB patch, I also crash whenever I get a parasite "armor" equipped, or enter an area with a priestess wearing the special robes. Using the 3BBB option here.

i had similar issues but totally random at time and then other times it was in one specific location every time, i found out is immersive citizens AI overhaul that was causing my issues with a lot of CTD's, the other issue was i has was random not responding on load screens, that was being caused by some music that was added to the game, not sure if that helps any, but in most cases, CTD are caused by other mods that are in conflict, put items in the same location or it is the wring version like trying to run a LE mod on a SSE, not sure how much modding you have done

Are you going straight to the Sanguine altar when you start your game by any chance?

 

I just looked at the code and there is a chance traveling to Dreamworld will fail if this is the first time you sleep in the game at all. 

If that could be the case, try sleeping until after midnight in front of the altar to reset the clock, and then try sleeping again.

Not at the very start, just haven't really done a whole lot with the mod up to this point. Definitely not the first time I've slept either.

 

Another thing to note is that the enslavement portion of the mod seems to be working fine. I tested that once everything was set up.

I've got to start a new game since I was testing something else. I'll see if I can repro. I'm not usually using the priestess robes.

If you have .netscriptframework, are you getting a crash log? If it is a specific mesh or texture, it will usually tell you.

I have a question for you, the living armor, what is it ingest or feeding off of to "stay alive"? i know this maybe a little to much in depth, but any parasite, must feed off something and uses the hosts body to keeps its self protected, since this is in game, and the parasite is on the out side the body would it not stand to reason that it would have more defenses, such as an armor rating?  this would not only help keep it alive but its host, 

 

now i did have an idea for what it feeds off of and how you could give it a armor rating and make it balance if you wish to hear let me know

Did some more testing. Seems that sleeping for a full day and then trying again did the trick, despite the fact that I had attempted that before. Regardless, thanks for the tip.

Glad it worked.

 

The important part is to sleep over midnight. That takes care of counting towards another day.

Hi, I have a question: the lower disposition threstold the easier it is for your master to let you free or the other way around? I tried to set very low values, but after 3 days and at least 3000 gold delivered, when I ask if I can go the answer is always ... is it normal?

 

 

Also when they enslave me the magic doesn't run out.. is it normal? it seemed to me that in previous versions of LE it went to 0

You need to edit the esp and add calves and maybe forearms to the armor addon.

This is something I walked through for DD, but it explains the process.

If you mean you got infected from a chaurus and you have Estrus Chaurus installed, then yes, baby chaurus are supposed to follow you, but that's from Estrus Chaurus, not from Parasites.
