Sorry about not checking the "entire" thread but I'm having difficulties finding only 1 reference to my issue. So I came here to ask, how do I remove a RobCo Shock Collar Mark III? 

- I don't use Sexual Harassment

- I don't use Raider Pet

All I have is Violate and DD. 

 

edited: I guess I do have Raider Pet, is that where I find the way to remove the collar?

edited: I guess I do have Raider Pet, is that where I find the way to remove the collar?

 

Use the Debug Menu to force remove the worn items.

Raider pet: The Boss or Lucky will deactivate the collar.

Violate: Lose/surrender, Should give the one that collars you a Shock Collar Note with a code to unlock/remove the collar. So you have to kill or pickpocket them.

I really wish i didnt get injured when cutting the rigid cuffs off at a workbench. :(

 

I was in a figh with 3 mutants, got badly injured which kicked in AFF Violate. After sex scene i escape, all be it running away with rigid cuffs on. Cant reach for a bobby pin. Cant wriggle free due to Rigid cuffs being so tight behind back. I am ok with that.

But i cant either fix my very low health as i cant either access my pipboy or use a hotkey for stimpack. Ok with this too.

 

Runs naked and dangerously a long way to my settlement to use the workbench to cut off the cuffs. gets to workbench and sits on it and cuts cuffs.

 

DIES due to getting arms cut during cutting process. Being on Survivial mode it Loads me way back to when i was just before encountering Mutants 40 minutes real life time before. Sucking feeling all round.

 

Why is it i have to get badly injured when removing cuffs ? :(

Because it's survival mode, I'm guessing you can't simply drink from a water source to recover HP... I would give custom survival options a go (or whatever it's called), should give you the power to cherry pick which survival features you want, and which ones to leave out, including save limitations.

It is a "random" occurrence; in other words when you cut the cuffs on the workbench, there is a chance that you manage to do it without cutting yourself, but it is possible that you end up cutting yourself. The chance to succeed without cutting yourself is higher if your agility is higher, and lower for hinged cuffs.

 

I am not playing survival myself, but if you managed to run to your settlement couldn't you just have taken a nap while bound before trying to free yourself?

 

Another trick, if you leave some food in the open in your settlement (i.e. not stored inside a workbench or container, but for example placed on a table) then you should be able to eat that food by activating it even if you are bound. Iirc you will require multiple foods to heal yourself, depending on hunger level.

I could use some help installing this mod. I'm using MO2 and checking the appropriate boxes in the fomod. I do get the RH MCM menu but it states "missing esp" and of course the mod does not work.

The MCM entry means that the MCM json files that are part of the mod are installed, so this can happen even if the .esp is missing.

 

Please check in the right-hand pane of MO, in tab plugins, that RealHandcuffs.esp is checked.  Most probably is is just installed but not checked so it will not get loaded by the game. Same for the other plugins that are part of the mod, e.g. RealHandcuffs_AWKCR_Compatibility.esp.

I updated MO2 to its latest version but same result. Thanks to Saya's manual I have a fully modded LL game and everything works great and is stable but in my case MO2 just does not install this mod correctly. UGH!

Where would i find the code to be able to take off my shock collar please? i got attacked by Mutants and they put rigid cuffs on me and also a shock collar. Later when i returned i found the trigger on one of their dead bodies but no code. And i have tried to guess it when pluging in my pipboy to it but so far beeing painfully shocked by getting it wrong :(

 

Now i feel its permanantly on me.. cries

Yeah, there is currently no way to get rid of it without the code, so if a mod puts a collar on you it is up to that mod to provide a way to get rid of it again.

You could try 

Mod lets you ask npc's for help removing stuff. Worked for me after I too couldn't find a code.

"It's not working" statements on their own are quite useless if you don't state what is not working. As I have no issues with the latest version of the mod on my game.

The latest version of this mod is working great for me, and I have over 300 mods installed along with it. If it's not working for someone, then they've probably got a conflict or installed it incorrectly. I highly recommend reading the instructions and double-checking that you've got the dependencies correctly in place.

I agree. For me this mod will not install correctly. But why? what am I f-ing up? Details of my problem are a few posts up, any help from anyone would be greatly appreciated.

Some of the thoughts I've had are...

1 This mod or fomod is borked

     Nope, way too many people have no problems at all, must be on my end

2 Kisaki is an idiot and cant install mods

    Nope, while not a modder or computer expert, I've been using mods since the early days of Skyrim. With the help of Saya_Scarlet's manual I have fully modded and stable LL game, only Real Handcuffs does not intall.

3 Maybee it works with Vortex but not MO2

    Probably not true, MO2 is very popular

4 MO2 is borking installation for me only and works fine for everyone else

    I think this is the most likely. Details and screen shots are a few post up. if anyone could tell if I'm missing something in the fomod (such as you should check this box etc) or Its A MO2 problem. Any help or suggestions from anyone would be extremely appreciated.

I'm one of those terrible Vortex users, so probably can't be much help, but from the log you quoted earlier it certainly does look like MO2's FOMOD interpreter is choking on the ModuleConfig.xml file.

FOmod often generates bogus errors in MO2. I can see the RH esp is loaded so it did something. If you navigate to your mod directory and then the Real Handcuffs folder, are there files there?

Well, I'm not sure what the hell just happened but.... I reinstalled the mod and got the same warnings

I didn't redownload the file, this is the same one that gave me trouble. Checked the mod directory and everything was there. I fired up the game and this time RH installed and seems to be working.

I'll have to play to know if it is truly working or not but having the full MCM is a good sign. I didn't do anything different from my many other failed attempts that I know of at least.

For the record, MO2 always gives me these warnings too when I install the mod. And I have installed it many times for testing ?.

 

Not sure if this is just a MO2 problem or if I did something wrong when I set up the FOMOD files. It always works for me, and I have validated the FOMOD with external tools and they did not find any errors. It is possible that these warnings can be ignored.,

Thanks for the reply Kharos, I think my MO2 must just have been choking on installation. Your FOMOD is pretty simple to use and straight forward. I tried to install many many times with the "Missing esp" in MCM and the mod, of course, did not work. This last time everything installed just fine. Why? I have no clue. It had to be something on my end. Well, the mod works great now and it is very good. Thanks for the mod!
