how can i remove this part?

 

3dmigoto makes lots of lag

 

i remove some parts of the costume with blender but can't import this part(because this is 4d??)

Does anyone know which file is the material files for each costume
I intend to assign the Diego body part with the texture of the boot

and it seems KTID and KTS is not the material files

The KTID and KTS from MaterialEditor tells which texture to load.

The one from CharacterEditor... well, you can play with the numbers of the ktid (don't change path) and maybe something will happen.

 

That said, it is the .g1m has the info about materials. Each mesh has a material assigned, and also a... shader? (if the shader is not changed, even if you change into another material, it will look odd, unless that other part used the same shader too)

Anyway, there is currently no tool to edit these. It would be easy to create one, but there are lot of unknown values, so it would be more of a research tool than anything else.

Can anybody explain in detail how to make mods, how to install them and fix any problems that may occur? I tried to figure it out, but nothing is clear.

A tutorial guide on using these mods on the 1st page would be nice than just posting a link to them and they honestly don't explain much either. This will help new ppl or those who haven't moded the game since launch to stop repeating for help. I know these questions annoy folks, but ignoring a solution only creates more pages of "Help Me Please"

Everything is here, but everything is scattered around, not really user-friendly for somebody who has absolutly no idea what to do with the mods files. A dedicated tutorial thread wouldn't hurt in my opinion. So at least re-directing any users to the said tutorial would be easier.

There are several tutorials on the DOA5LR forum, but it seems to me that they are hardly suitable for DOA6.

Yeah, I checked this on version 1.04a. The SNK was there before, but that RTRIG_MAI_COS_000 thing is new in this version of the exe, which i guess it means the real work on the character has been started recently.

Yeah you are right, they just started to work on them. They hided them with Honoka's Pictures

Judging by the file names, that looks like mods for VV, not meant for DOA6

 No success on any attempts to match the physics bones at all! I am trying to avoid them now.

The filename in side "Character" folder must match the "slot" quoted in the mod.ini file, thus, it cannot be changed.

The bone weight is not polished, so you may see a gap at some place.  To install, just unzip the folders in your REDELBE's layers folder.

 

I thought replacing pants with body part will need to import the modified vgmap like @ausgeek did, but for the four cases here, it only works without the importing vgmap step. @vagonumero13 , is that because you have put the step in your updated g1mtools?

Replace KOK_COS_005a.G1M, too. This mesh appear later a break blow.
