I think the game preloads the ktid/kts files in advance (regardless of what the mtl says) , and just expects the mtl to match. The mtl is still read, because you can see how changing the numbers there changes things. This explain why you can't use a mtl from other costume: they preload the ktid/kts, then they read the .mtl and just assign the ktid/kts, but if they don't match, you get non-textured character (those are the "black oiled").

 

At some point in the future (not anytime soon yet), I will hack how the game loads these files, as it will be needed if we want to have almost any destructable costume (and I say almost, because there will still the problem of characters like Nico, that don't have destructable costumes). It will also be needed to add new materials in general, but that also involve editing some parts of g1m that currently no tool edit, but the g1m part is trivial.

But whe i used a mtl file from another costume,some meshes become red oiled, is it the same issue as you said?. Do you think is possible in the future to transform outfits after taking a Break Blow? For example trasforming Kasumi default costume into her DOA5.

Adding destructibles to who doesn't have any will be great. Do you think is there the possibility for adding more destructible layers? Like getting a 2nd BB it gets more destroyed? Well i think maybe, we first need to get access to the g1m file and adding more slots

I guess red oiled is probably the same, I guess there must be something that makes it red isntead of black, but anyway the "oil" thing is this game's version of untextured model. If I manage to hack(control which files the game will preload, then we would have the problems of destructable costumes fixed, along with total conversion thing. (because the destructable model has its own .mtl, a full conversion should be possible, but we have to solve first the problem of the preloaded files, so that the game would actually load the kts/ktid specified in the mtl, instead of doing the preload shit they do).

 

We would still need to use slots of current destructable modes, unless even more patches are done. Anyway, little by little.

How was "Kasumi 8-9 more reveal" of "Layer2 sample mods" created? The part of the mesh being removed can not be imported using blender (due to 4D error).
Perhaps I can make the same mod by blanking out 0.ib and 1.ib. However, I do not know how to specify that the target mesh file is 0.ib and 1.ib

If you're talking about switching around win/lose animations, then they're in the RRPreview file.

The new ones that were added in the recent patch don't have file names like the base ones and are hard to find (I gave up on finding Honoka's winking one after a couple hours).

I think character select animations can be placed as win animations as well. Here's a couple I messed with.

wow that's awesome.. could you explain how you did that exactly? I extracted the RRPreview file w rdb, but not really sure what to do next

What I did was, from the RRPreview folder I copied the files with WIN into the [REDELBE > RRPreview] folder.

These are Ayane's win pose files

Like it doesn't switch angles when using Christie's on Ayane or how Marie's eyes move around like she's possessed by a demon when doing Nyo's win animation, but it still works for screenshot purposes. Maybe someone else knows how to fix the camera problem.

My modifications are only on mesh 10, hiding whats g1m_hide can't hide and of course by hiding meshes 0,1,3,8,9 with g1m_hide.

I used Kasumis breasts but ingame they have no 3D nipples.
What have i done wrong

For Hitomi it worked.
But i dont realy understand the export system.
I want to make a more destruction top but not topless.
It worked somehow but the result is not good.
Do i need to export one mesh after another and import.
So that i can import the ib/vb one by one.

Oh i rememer making many parts of meshes and than export is this possible.
Sorry for my nnob question.
I tryes it some times with ayane no luck.

even somtimes there is only a invisilble body and CTD

I hope you guys could help me.
but now i go to bed maby after that i have more luck.
Want to make a mod.
But my abilities are not existent.

The same problem about which someone has already written here. The breast does not move at all (no bouncing)!!!

How do i fix this horror.
I copyed kasumis left breast over ayanes left breast with g1m import and for the right breast i dit the same.
I read in a post the cause is a weight problem but i cant find it anymore.
How do i fix this?

And another question what is the 4D error?
