I wouldn´t know, witnesses claim it was pretty much an assassination, while the police claim, among other things, that his bedroom´s door was booby trapped... in his own house, in which he lived with his family. Ok then. I don´t see a reason to blindly believe anybody involved, police included.

Although the fact that months later they still refuse to release any sort of evidence seems somewhat suspicious to me, perhaps that´s the norm there.

But keep in mind that the police are people who follow orders from other people, and people are not known to be infallible, or above weakness.

 

About white privilege, I´m not sure what you meant by that.

I think those are mostly concepts used as psychological weapons against white people who live in the anglosphere.

From the outside, it looks like white privilege simply means being constantly bombarded with propaganda against your very existence, and blamed by your own media for everything that goes wrong in the universe.

Maybe I´m getting the wrong idea, but it really does look that way from here (here = somewhere on the other side of the planet).

 

I hope that didn´t sound political, that certainly wasn´t my intent.

On the coups in other countries.  Sure.  Why not.  Every country does this when and if they can.  They remove folks they think are dangerous to them or their citizens.  It is far more bloodless than going to war and having innocents suffer.  I'm not saying I'm for it.  I just understand that the world is messy.  When you grow up, you'll understand that as well.  To the young, everything has a clean, bright and shiny moral solution.  Ah to be young and ignorant.

I remember readying that Breonna Taylor was shot in her bed or on the couch laying down, but regardless, the police were INSANELY irresponsible and violent in doing something they didn't even need to do, and a life was lost entirely because of their actions and only one of them has been fired, none actually held responsible for their actions?

 

you know, recognizing that things are bad and saying they don't have to be is not naive. the world is very imperfect and so are our options, but it's stupid to think that picking the worst options, out of either greed or disregard for human life, is the ONLY option. we can make better choices than we are making in this world, and save god knows how many lives.

As for the police actions being irresponsible.  NOPE.  They were cleared.  Guess you missed the news.  The life was lost due to HER choosing a life of crime.  Fuck around and FIND OUT.  She found out.  She should serve as an example of what NOT to be and NOT do.

 

You are clearly a very uninformed individual.  You can change that if you choose to.  I hope you do.  If you don't, then you will be nothing but a puppet that others will manipulate the rest of your life.  That would be a very sad fate.

Wow.  Is that the best you can do?   To make an emotional nonsense vomit response and then throw up straw man arguments.?  Would that be because there are no facts on your side?  Ah.  Poor baby.  Perhaps you're just too low brow to realize that you CAN throw off the yoke of ignorance and actually learn how to research things and develop logic skills so you can be your own person.  What is truly foolish is to trust feel feels over facts.  That will lead to you accepting lies and getting played.  If you are a masochist, maybe that is not so bad.  Few would be happy with that however.

That is a no nonsense class act dude.  He isn't about to put up with any mess.  I had to laugh at how she noticed that he was filming her and pointing out she was acting foolish.  You can see the light bulb coming on and then she was embarrassed and didn't know what to do.  Actions have consequences.  It is CRITICAL that kids learn this as early as possible.  Bravo for that father.
