I’ve put my stuff in a box in sanctuary. Is that too close? And in the showinventory command there are no weapons. Just keys and passwords and other misc and quest items. Still nothing.

Actually it the timer starts after finishing the dialogue to start the scene. But if it's other NPC's that wont talk to you.. that's a different issue.

Kill em or pickpocket them after sex. You have boosted success for a limited time after being used. I always dump 2 points into pickpocket asap so I can preform Exploding Pants.

My character just said Hi to them and they just ignored it. Didn't see anything mentioned of such thing in the mod description so I figured it would be a bug/conflict issue. Cause if not for that everything was working fine after I found the slider in aff violated and understood I had to actually not have weapons in my inventory and not just unequip them ? 1

No other mod except this one causes this but my game crashes on startup, I don't get to the title screen. If anyone else had this issue and figured it out I'd love to hear their solution.

Usually it's a bad/corrupted install. Try re-downloading & installing.

After install a Raider mod possible changes a mod load order - that means game crashes because old mod load order was changed. As one of crash possibilities.

Sim Settlements 2 seems to break this mod.
Charindy Posted December 3, 2020 Posted December 3, 2020 Except by itself it doesn't, because I've had it running just fine with it and didn't have to do anything special to make it work. Just making sure everything is loaded in order correctly and all nested requirements are installed can solve a lot of issues.

I don't like Devious Devices so I hacked the scripts and faked having DD in my own copy of Raider Pet.

What happens for me is that the Raiders are always hostile -- tried the console command but it doesn't work for me. I have previous RP saves but the raiders are non-responsive (no conversation).
Charindy Posted December 5, 2020 Posted December 5, 2020 I had them go none-responsive after I installed Boceifus' FG Devious Devices conversion and somehow managed to disable the base DD as it meant a bunch of DD scripts were missing, but so long as I dumped all weapons so I had nothing in my inventory far enough away that there was a location change recorded (e.g. dump at Sanctuary, go to Corvega) they still wouldn't be hostile.

Charindy Posted December 6, 2020 Posted December 6, 2020 I run it with SS2 just fine, Hardship overlaps in a few things that can get a bit messy though, yeah. It'll work, just not nicely out of the box.

For now, I've uninstalled RP since I'm enjoying SS2. Hardship works fine with SS2.

Click on Piper (or type prid 2f1f) setconsolescopequest followers emptyrefalias companion setplayerteammate 0

I haven't seen anything outright broken with RP if you have a companion along for the ride, there just isn't any content which will involve them.
