Nareska Posted December 24, 2019 Posted December 24, 2019 I can't seem to find whatever dropdown menu skyfem patcher is in

Just checked the very first page of this post has install instructions and they pretty much cover it.

Otherwise this mod works perfectly. I get some neckgaps on a few random NPCs but I didn't use this mod on a new game. And I can always give them chokers to hide their necks.   To other peeps:  When you remove a mod make sure to bash and then reinstall Skyfem and replace old files during install. Then run the script again and generate new files. I also load skyfem at the end after the bash patch. Maybe this reinstalling/resetting skyfem causes neck gaps on some but I always had them since I used it mid game.  Oh and use MO2 if you don't already. It's just way better then anything else.  Overall worth it to get the mod running. Also I recommend: Superior Lore-Friendly Hair - HD textures -from oldrim, it works. You may have to set esp or w/e to optional. (Double click in the left pane, find the tab and use grn arrows) SkyHide - Dont Show Headgears - No Helmet Mod -hides headgear; lets you pick and choose which kind Remodeled Armor CBBE SE -for skimpy vanila armors/outfits on NPC's; has a physics option (it destorys my FPS, so vanilla only for me) thank you very much!  my problem was I had a hair replacer that was causing black faces, this hair mod linked by ssskn works perfectly with SkyFem so you don't have to settle for crappy vanilla hair textures 1
unendinghunger Posted December 31, 2019 Posted December 31, 2019 Can't edit my last post? but... Â Would love an option to keep females as females, and only males get turned to futas.

Loony Mods Posted January 1, 2020 Posted January 1, 2020 I'm guessing this mod is basically abandoned, but it would be nice if the physics that natively female NPCs could be copied over to the transformed males. Has anyone been able to do that?

Has anyone been able to do that? This is the port thread, not the support thread. The main mod was updated back in November. As for the physics, as long as the characters have HDT physics enabled bodies and XPMSE skeletons, CBP-C should affect them. Just be sure to activate male physics in the configuration ini located in the SKSE folder. 1
ssskn Posted January 3, 2020 Posted January 3, 2020 I've learned a lot since my older posts. Here I will post a quick tutorial on how to remove a mod included in skyfem so you don't have to rerun the patcher over and over. This way you can use the 2nd transfer face script to make everyone look really good. And not worry about resetting everyone's looks. Gonna be for MO2 only. Â Important: Back up you skyfem folder, either through MO or simply by copy and pasting to another location. You can safely recover by replacing the older files. This is just in case you fuck up or change your mind later. --- 1. Disable the file you want to remove in the left pane. That should clear it from your load order in the right pane. 2. Launch Wrye Bash. Then right click on skyfem, go up to the very top, and select install dummy master plugin. 3. It will create a dummy esp. Enable it in Bash or after quitting bash. Note: Missing masters warning will be gone now. 4. Open up xEdit and load skyfem. 5. Right click on skyfem and hit check for errors. It will bring tons of missing tint errors. Ignore these. Look for others, using CTRL + left clicking on IDs. 6. Right away (or eventually) you will find some entries in Skyfem that won't be overwritting others. Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â These will be NPCs and/or Armor entries 7. Select these (on left side) and remove them. They should appear as a black group of entries in between bunch of green ones. 8. After removing only the black ones (no racist...), aka ones that aren't overwriting, right click on skyfem again and select clean masters. 9. This should remove the master esp as a requirement. If it doesn't then go back to "check for errors" step. Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â You can also open and scroll through all the entries (under skyfem.esp) and remove non-green/red ones. 10. Save and exit xEdit. Disable the dummy and there shouldn't be a missing masters warning. We done. Don't forget to delete the dummy from overwrite folder. --- You can do this to remove any master from any mod, btw. Â If this still doesn't make sense and you really need pictures then I guess I can add them when I get time. But only if you admit to being a loser noob.
DrayMiracle Posted January 5, 2020 Posted January 5, 2020 I cant find the SkyFem NPC SE folder im supposed to put the dummy output folder contents into. I installed the mod through the nexus mod manager. All i find is a folder called SkyFem - All NPCs Now Female. Can someone help me with this?

I'm using NMM so that will be the same.
Leyrann Posted January 7, 2020 Posted January 7, 2020 I'm trying to follow the instructions to install the mod properly, but I can't figure it out. Â I've done step 1 and 2, but I cannot find a SSEEdit file to run anywhere. Is it in the Edit Scripts folder, or somewhere else?

All you have to do now is r-click on Skyfem.esp, select 'add masters' and wait for it to do its thing.

Update (this site seriously need edit options btw): I downloaded a Skyrim specific version and now it seems to work. Haven't finished the instructions yet, but got past this step at least.

Like so     Maybe because you are a newish member/poster you have to clock up a certain number of posts?  The SSEEdit you want is here (assuming you are running SE) https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/164/  This is the LE version https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/25859

I'd copy paste but the editor doesn't like that.  Anyway, I figured that stuff out just a few minutes before you posted it, but I have one more issue, with the last step: Quote There will now be a folder called DummyOutput in the overwrite directory of MO2. Move the contents of the DummyFolder to the SkyFem NPC SE mod folder. I'm using Vortex, and I don't know where I can find this folder. The current result is that the mod is working, but all formerly male NPCs are now black, so I'm assuming this is the bit I need to do to fix that.
