The method I've been using is where you build in bodyslide (not sure there is any other method) but, while that works fine for building a regular UNP body, whenever I try to build the UNP HDT body, I end up with a sagging butt and boobs. I posted in the tech support forum earlier but, since I've at least figured out now that physics is involved, thought that maybe I could find some help here. Edit: Or Cosio. Could try that again since I'm still (mostly) at square one. I just want a body that works. Edit II: Going to try Cosio. Wish me luck! Advice is still welcome. (Advice is always welcome. I'm not sure I really know what I'm doing.) Sagging assets means you are using the wrong skeleton.

I'm using the XP32 Maximum Skeleton Special Extended. I did see that I'm supposed to be careful nothing overwrites it, so I turned on the feature in Vortex that shows what all is being overwritten by new mods, but I don't really know what I'm looking for. I just looked for anything that said "skeleton" and wouldn't let it change those, but I guess I missed the real one.

SoS is the most likely culprit for overwriting/overriding XPMSSE- I found that it did it to me even though I told it NOT to do that during the installation. Best bet is to reinstall XPMSSE after installing SoS (Full or Lite) and let it overwrite/override everything it wants to. Also, back to your original question, UUNP-HDT and UUNP-Special both support physics right out of the box, including Belly physics and @Shizof's CBPC-exclusive internal belly bulge upon schlong insertion ! Plus, UUNP has a wide selection of shape presets you can build the body and outfits to in BodySlide- such as UNP, UNPB, UNPBB, UNPCM, UNP-Skinny, UNP-Pushup, SeveNBase Bombshell, Dream Girl... pretty much you name it, UUNP's got a preset for it. What I ended up doing was starting with a 50% UNPB Preset then heavily modifying it, then saving it as a custom preset so I could build my hands, foots and outfits to it.

I'll need to make a note of that. (Actually, I should start writing myself several notes.) Now that the two of you have given me what sounds like a fix, I kind of want to try to get UNP to work again, but I just got Cosio mostly working (the body customizations I build in bodyslide still don't actually show up for whatever reason). I wish that the profiles in Vortex actually kept everything separated so that I could work on both builds at the same time and see what ends up working best for me.

This is an indication that BodySlide either is not building your Cosio body for whatever reason, or it is building it but putting it in the "wrong" place. After building your body, you should check Data\meshes\actors\character\character assets\femalebody_0.nif and femalebody_1.nif. If they do not show a date/time stamp of less than a minute from the current time and date, you have confirmed that BS is not placing a "built" body in the proper folder. So build it again, but this time hold Ctrl when you click "Build" on your body. This forces BS to drop the files into the Bodyslide folder instead of wherever else it might be putting them. Now you can easily check that folder and see if your femalebody_(n).nif's are there. If so, this verifies that BS is, in fact, building your body but putting it "somewhere unexpected." So do a computer-wide file search for the two files and see if you can find them anywhere on your machine with the appropriate date/time stamps corresponding with when you last built the body in BS. If you find them, then you just have to reset your SSE Bodyslide installation default output folder, or possibly edit your Cosio body SliderSet and do a "File >> Save Project As" on it, then correct the output folder there. If, however, you do not find appropriately-dated femalebody_(n).nif anywhere on your machine, I suggest there is a problem with the Cosio ShapeData meshes, SliderSet or Bodyslide itself. So try to see if you can successfully build a UUNP body, which would tell you that BS is fine and it's your Cosio files that are borked. 22 hours ago, SafyreStorme said: I wish that the profiles in Vortex actually kept everything separated so that I could work on both builds at the same time and see what ends up working best for me. Vortex only manages mods within profiles. BodySlide is technically a utility, not a mod. As far as I know, all Vortex can do with BodySlide from one profile to the next is manage whether or not it is installed for that profile, not force it to output its files to different folders, which seems to be what you are expecting Vortex to do for you. I don't know, but maybe MO2 would manage this better for you after the 6 months of intense study it will take you to learn how to use it. 1
SafyreStorme Posted April 25, 2019 Posted April 25, 2019 I think I'm just gonna copy-paste everything you said to my new notes doc for future use. Thank you for the explanation! After your earlier suggestion, I actually did end up moving back to UUNP instead of COSIO and it's working just fine. (Yay! Things are finally working! At least until I inevitably break it again.) So, not actually bodyslide's fault then. 21 hours ago, Vyxenne said: Vortex only manages mods within profiles. BodySlide is technically a utility, not a mod. Some mods overwrite files of other mods and I had expected the profiles would keep that sort of thing separated if a profile was only using one of the mods (if that sentence makes sense). Probably gonna stick with Vortex rather than trying MO2, but I have a better idea of what profiles actually do now. My expectations were a little over-the-top it seems. When I moved back to UNP this last time, I did copy my entire SSE file in the hopes that, if things go crazy and I want to try Cosio again, I can just move my current SSE file onto my other harddrive, and replace it with the old folder. No idea if that will actually work or not since I'm not quite sure how Vortex stores the mod information, but I'm going with, "It would be awesome if it worked, but I'm not gonna hold my breath."

Well, that's exactly what Vortex DOES do- you can set up different profiles with different installed >>>>MODS<<<< and also the same mods but different override rules... What I was trying to say is that BodySlide is not a "mod" - it's a standalone utility that is best when integrated to a game installation, but AFAIK all Vortex can do with BodySlide is enable or disable it, which makes no sense since BodySlide does **nothing** to your game and it absolutely does not matter whether or not it is installed in any particular playthrough- the game will be the same, except that without BodySlide you won't have the ability to build body presets and outfits.
Bestestest Posted April 25, 2019 Posted April 25, 2019 Edit: Wasn't sure where to post this but since people were discussing if it was possible here, i posted it here. To anyone using CBBE, here's a quick guide on how to add a belly node to your body. Didn't find anyone using this method so here you go! You need NifSkope and Bodyslide & Outfit Studio 1.) Locate your preferred body in \CalienteTools\BodySlide\ShapeData\CBBE, and open it up in NifSkope Spoiler 2.) Right Click 0 NiNode "Scene Root", go ->Node->Attach Node Name the node "NPC Belly" (Click where it says "txt" to open prompt) Spoiler 3.) Adjust the Translation for the node. (X:0, Y:2.1, Z:82.2) Works, with an UNP body used as a reference Spoiler It'll look like this 4.) Save. Open it up in Outfit Studio now. Go over to the Bones tab, Right Click on anywhere on the box, go Add-> From Skeleton Navigate [Root]->[COM]->[BODY]->[UBody]->[Spn0]->[Spn0]->[Spn1]->Belly->HDT Belly->NPC Belly Click ok Spoiler 5.) With "NPC Belly" bone selected, color in the affected area. The brush is automatically selected. I noticed it gets automatically toned down so get some yellow in at least. The more you brush the warmer the color gets. When you're done go to File->Export Nif and select the Nif you Starded with Spoiler 6.) Open up BodySlide. Search CBBE Special, or the body you edited and click the "open in OufitStudio" button, and check if you see NPC Belly under the bones tab. If it's there you've done everything correctly! Build your body, and you're done! Spoiler Cheers! Spoiler 6

So in doing this you may be screwing up the bone weighting of the body.

As far as I know, there is no mod or utility named "bodystudio" and so it is not possible for me to tell if you mean "Outfit Studio" or "BodySlide." They are two distinctly-different utilities. Regardless of what you meant by "added the node in bodystudio," It seems that you have omitted the very last line of the instructions: Quote Build your body, and you're done! Just adding a node to the BodySlide\ShapeData folders with NifSkope/Outfit Studio does nothing to get the new body in-game- you have to build your newly-belly-noded body with Bodyslide to get it in-game.
VRNord Posted May 10, 2019 Posted May 10, 2019 Sorry if this is a really dumb question but I haven't been able to find the answer anywhere. Does CBPC support VR hand-->SOS schlong collision the way it does hand-->breast collision? I installed CBPC and ran FNIS but my VR hand goes right through a schlong like it did before I installed CBPC so I don't know if I did something wrong, missed a step or it isn't supported.

chimiz Posted May 31, 2019 Posted May 31, 2019 Collisions seem to be working (opening closing depending on proximity), though it's very "snappy", it's either open or not, and it's not quite spread enough. I've tried to increase the collisions sphere radius as well to see if that would bring a better effect, but I seem to get no results. I was looking around wondering if there was a setting in a config that determined the max offset for the spread but doesn't seem like it. Is it hardcoded, does it only rely on the weight painting, or is it simply my own config files that are not working for some reason?

Open CBPCMasterConfig.txt Change SkipFramesPelvis value to 1 or 0 for example. That would get rid of the snappiness. The spreading depends on the collision amount. Specifically between [NPC Pelvis [Pelv]] and the [NPC Genitals** [Gen**]] nodes for example so if one of them has a radius of 3 and the other is 5, collision amount between these can be 3 maximum. Vagina opening has a hardcoded max of 5. So you can increase the sphere radius's up to 5 to increase the opening amount.
