It seems that all will work as before the game update but still the sex will not start after the dialog.

Maybe you see in the list what is wrong and must I delete some of them or the combination is bad.

How ever thanks for your verry nice work :)

I renember there was a kind of startup file for starting those animations, but I can't find it anymore or is there an update for this and tell me where I can find it

The only thing wrong I see in your load order is that you have four-play and four-lei installed.  None of the mods you are using need those, so there is no reason to have them installed.

Everything else looks OK to me and I don't see any obvious problems.

Can you try doing an animation and then paste your script log in here so that I can take a look?  Instructions for getting your script log are in the second post in this thread.

Have deinstalled four-play and four-lei.

( Altoch I renember before the game update by installing the old version of AAF it found the "four-play " file and that whas correct and really nessaseary concerning the old one )

Even have also reorder the load order by useing the ingame load order reset option so the load order must now be perfect.

But onfortunately now even the AAF SEU dialog don't work annymore when I hit the Hotkey so I can't try doing an animation.

So as I can see by opening the MCM all must be ok, also the Hotkey's are the same as I had shose.

I am really deparated now and don't know how to fix this

Thanks for your support

Sorry as I tell you I have not te possebility annymore to try doing an animation because the dialog option will not start when I hit the Hotkey

Really the 2 Hotkey's dont work some how.

You must know that before I deinstall the four-play and four-lei the Hotkeys work and the dialog start only the animations won't start.

For soo far as I can see when opening in game the MCM - Mod Configuration Menu tel me that all options are still there

Again thanks for your support

I assume that if I have a female follower and decide to sell "my friends goods", that friend must be a vanilla follower?  Is this correct ?  I ask because it sure isn't working with Heather Casdin.

Get Insane Ivy from here, you won't regret it and go ahead and sell her ass early and often :P (She works fine with Heather btw)

Even if nothing works, please enable logging, then try to start a flirt dialogue with an NPC, and post your script log here.

Good to know.  I wonder why it isn't working with Heather in my game...  Has anyone had this working with Heather?

Even if you get it going dongs of fallout isn't going to do anything for you or work. That mod is for Fourplay not AAF. Also unless they fixed Bodytalk its only going to work with Crazy and Leito animations, none of the others. Imo the AAF mods link page needs to be changed. It has Bodytalk as the male body for AAF but in all reality it doesn't work for AAF right out of the box. You have to edit lots of xml's for it to work on every animation pack. The mods link page should have EVB as the main body for AAF and Bodytalk as misc file, not the way they have it now which is the other way around. I've lost track of how many posts I've seen about people complaining they stay flacid when doing a scene. So like I said unless they fixed it if u want all animations to work u want EVB not Bodytalk. If they did change it then don't worry about this part of my post.

Edit- Also every now and then all though the mcm still might show the hotkeys are still assigned to what you picked, I have had to reassign them again because they all of a sudden didn't work. Did you try that.

Yes have div times reassign'd them but still it won't work.

Think the whole AAF and AAF installed  items are messing up some how.

Maybe it's wise to deactivate and delete all those AAf iems and reinstall them later when I start a whole new game.

But for now I go on playing the game because there are some MPC's pregnant including Piper waiting til the baby's are born.

There al ready 3 growing baby's in the game and when all unborn are born I maybe try to fix AAF by delete all AAF items and reinstall them again.

Thanks for now I will renember and try your advice on a later time :)

Sounds good. Well I'm not saying you cant have AAF installed when you start a new game its not really a good idea to have it installed right from the get go. many things can fuck up when going through the beginning of the game with lots of mods installed. Generally its better to wait until you get out of the vault and kill the bugs with Codsworth and get the game to the point where you can use the workshop and you are free to go to Concord. This is when I like to add all my mods I'm going to use. Easier to fix anything that might happen this way then having 100-200 mods installed from the get go.

Having another issue where my hotkeys randomly stop working when I press them. I can press the key to masturbate one moment, then I'll go into a new area or just in a general direction for a bit and the hotkeys stop working when I press them again. Reloading from a previous save solves this temporarily.

The hotkeys for this mod aren't working =/ i'm standing there clicking them like 30 times and no response from npc. They rarely work, but do occasionally.

They do work for surrender though. Just not for flirt/prostutution.

Would this be a problem due to not having AAF themes or something else? I'm really trying to avoid downloading themes and it was working fine without it before.

Question:

Why are you trying to avoid downloading themes?

They provide quite a lot in terms of a mods ability to add robustness to the experience at nearly no cost in terms of speed, etc. They're basically XML files which provide tags which classify and better define anims to the mods that make use of them. They're also the AAF sanctioned method for providing better information to mods as to the types of anims available to choose from. So, why limit the environment? I ask, merely out of curiosity.

Themes would not cause this problem.

Idk I have no reason to block any of my animations from being used in my mods currently. I don't understand what it does beyond that. Also I tried downloading it before but couldn't figure out how to set it up as it wasn't in my MCM so i was like screw it and disabled it lol.

That description is kind of inaccurate.  The main benefit of themes is that it adds tags to animations.  This allows mods to choose appropriate animations based on the tags.  SEU uses tags to pick hugging and kissing animations and aggressive animations  for assault.  SEU really requires themes to fully work.

Okay. A few things. I'll break this down, because a lot of people seem to think Halstrom's themes are some kind of big patch or gigantic mod with lots of configuration...etc. While it's not gigantic, the implications of it are huge, and for that reason...let me break this down for you.

1. Themes do not use the MCM. There is no esp/esm/esl file. These are literally additional XML configuration files that AAF, and by extension, AAF enabled mods can use to select animations based on a mod authors criteria. Themes really don't need an MCM panel.

2. There is no setup needed. You just install them. They go into Data/AAF

3. They don't block anything in the sense you're thinking.

Think about it in terms like this: you have all of these animations. They're essentially hkx files that contain the anim. The filename, really, is meaningless in this context.

So, now. You're in Sex Em Up. You surrender, and you're about to be raped. Right? A rape can, and often is violent. Now, you have all these animations. How does SEU know to pick a violent animation, vs an animation where you and the other actor just cuddle?

Answer: themes, and the tags they provide.

Tagging, and profiling the animation for AAF does a whole lot. It classifies the animations. How many people can be used in it? Is it M/F? Is it MM/F? Is the animation considered aggressive? Passive? Is it an animation for a dog? A deathclaw? A Super Mutant? The theme files are simply XML files that hold all detailed classifications for the anims. It also contains stuff like positioning info, and other stuff. While not required for AAF, they are incredibly robust and very useful. Halstrom is always working on improving them, and tightening up the definitions. He's really excellent at it.

But more importantly: These XML files offer all of this, with no discernible performance hit. Understanding how mods work and do what they do and why they do it is important.

Ego makes tag use optional, yes. But SEU (and AAF Violate) are far more robust with Themes installed and able to be used.

I hope this helps you understand themes a bit better.

Ah true. The thing is I like the consensual animations used during violations, as if the character likes it lol. Plus gives much more options with furniture. if only anims tagged as aggressive are used during that it might get old fast. especially since leito's aggressive ones aren't multi staged and there isn't too many others.

I only recently came back to F4 and updated from FP to AAF so i'm still learning the the new stuff.  Only use Raider Pet and SEU so far, with all the best animation packs. I haven't had much problem yet with hugging animations happening when I wanted sex. Maybe if I start getting problems like that as I DL new mods i'll grab themes lol.

Having an issue where surrender will not work. The passive Hotkey is H and pressing it in combat does nothing, but pressing it by a NPC outside of combat starts the prostitution dialogue.

Can't really see anything wrong with your log.  It is acting as if you are not in combat, so it is looking for a regular passive interaction and not finding anyone.

It's a little odd because there are AAF Violate scenes taking place before the SEU surrender attempts.  Were the enemies actually targeting you in combat, or were they still pacified from the AAF Violate event?

No, unlike flirting or prostitution, surrender doesn't require being close to the enemies.  You just have to be in combat, and when you surrender your aggressors will come to you.

I was definitely in combat. I loaded an older save not changing anything in my load order to right outside vault 111 and walked on down to concord and surrender worked perfectly, although roof camping Garvey kinda complicated things.

Great Mod, Thanks for sharing all your work, skills and time. For me to enjoy what has become my favorite mod for FO4. I thank you!

I get a CTD after sex, using Flirt, and only when a companions affinity is increased. For instance I never crash flirting with an NPC or Dogmeat.

Papyrus.0.log loadorder.txt

Edit: Okay I lied, just flirted with Dogmeat and CTD. It seems to work fine at start of new game, after 6-10 hrs., it shows up, and gets worse as game goes on
