Ursur1major Posted August 27, 2020 Posted August 27, 2020 Hello, just wondering if one of the previous updates changed Laura's gold to 0 or if it's one of my other mods that are interfering with her.

I think something in your game is doing that. I didn't change it and I would've drowned in reports if I did it accidentally.
paradox-u Posted August 27, 2020 Posted August 27, 2020 Hey I just wanted to give a kudos, I finished the slave girl quest string that starts after the thing with Jade and found it all very entertaining. Being a fan of traps, surprises, and tricks pretty much all your content in this mod has been a big hit with me. Honestly the closest thing I have to a complaint is that I had hoped for more run ins with Jade, but I'm not sure that "your quest was so good I wanted there to be more of it" is really much of a complaint. lol. If anything you've inspired me into starting to read into some modding myself to perhaps do something in the future, so again kudos. 2

SirCrazy Posted August 27, 2020 Posted August 27, 2020 Suggestion: Enchanted lock-boxes that only open if the player is wearing a specific set of restraints. Example: The player finds a lock-box and tries to open it but a message pops up that says: "The lock box resists all your attempts to open it. Suddenly the enchantment on the box glows bright and you have a vision of a women wearing a full set of red rope restraints". If the player is bound in a full set of red rope restraints and tries to open the box, the box opens. Reward: Could be keys, other restraint sets, gold, jewels, ect. In game lore: The boxes were created by past restraint makers to increase the sale of restraint sets. They are also given as gifts between lovers. In some cases they were used to insure that only the intended recipient (who owned a rare bondage set) could open the box. Effect on game play: They player is now encouraged to collect and keep full sets of bondage gear to open any enchanted lock-boxes that they find. Reason for the suggestion: Almost all bondage mods that add boxes have a chance of involuntary applying restraints when the box is opened. This would be the opposite as the player would have to voluntarily wear a specific set of restraints to open the box. I feel this is more in keeping with your style of modding where you don't force the player into doing something they don't want to do and it's something that other bondage mods have not done. 1

Sounds interesting, but requiring exactly "red rope restraints" is a big thing, there are so many different harness items for that set and I am not sure there is an easy way to tell if you are wearing one of any of them without manually checking worn harness against every single variety of red rope harness (I guess you could save a formlist of them and check if the worn harness is in the formlist?) At least it would be in a script so you wouldn't have to rely on the absolute mess of the conditional system for dialogues and the like. I know red rope was just an example, but it just highlights the issue requiring exact items / theme of items.

I don't like the idea at all. Imagine it being Red Ebonite you'd have to wear - you'd have to spend 1k Septims (net worth, probably a lot more, depending on your haggling skills) for what? Another key? A bit of gold? Some jewels you have no use for except putting in a safe or selling cheap? Will that even cover my expenses? I think Laura's Shop has just the amount of voluntary bondage it needs. You get locked in Lauras's Set when doing a delivery, maybe putting on a Ballgag and Armbinder for a bit of extra cash. You get heavily bound when helping the shop in Valkenheim ("Blending In" - trying not to have spoileres here) - but you don't have to, you can easily ignore the quest and be happy with just the shop. When you go seeking the curse, you know that you'll end up tightly bound. You don't have to, you could add to their stock with selling all the other stuff that keeps jumping onn you from other chests. What I like about Laura and Katarina is, that they're perfectly confident with me stumbling in the shop in the heaviest of bondage. They never raped me, not even when wearing an Exhibitionist Suit, they never make any degrading comments. Only time she ever acknowledges that I might be wearing anything unusual is the greeting, "your gag looks cute." ? jm2c, joe. 1
Caladian Posted August 28, 2020 Posted August 28, 2020 While I don't like the specificity of color, having specific chests that requires a 'set' (hands/arms/body/mouth/.../....) Might be interesting enough. That being said as @CaptainJ03said, that is a lot of septims so that gear better be better than the best boss gear.
neosuduno Posted August 28, 2020 Posted August 28, 2020 Hey laura, I am sorry to say, but the rush delivery jobs are still impossible if they are outside of the Whiterun area. I have run all the tests, and the numbers are still unfair. You would need to multiply the time-frame to make it work. Example, one delivery to the Winking Skeever didn't work at top speed with hacks. Sorry, but you need to rework the timeframe by a large scale.

Example, one delivery to the Winking Skeever didn't work at top speed with hacks. Delivery times were tested thoroughly, with me alone doing like 60 of them before the latest version was released to the public, so believe me when I say it that all timers are doable. Express deliveres were meant to be that - fast. Naturally, you need to be quick on your feet, and not get bogged down in fighting or chasing butterflies. Time is of the essence, so any second wasted on not hoofing it there will cost you. By how much are you missing your window on these deliveries? If it's just a couple of ingame minutes, that you most likely did not take the best route. If it's by ingame hours or days, then it's worth looking into some more, though I suspect something else is the culprit. All timers were made to accomodate a vanilla timescale, vanilla base movement speeds with no speed (de)buffs involved, so if there is some other mod affecting those, it's possible they won't play together nice. But that's not Laura's responsibility, it's the end user's.

That could be really cool. Like the others said, using a set like red rope can be a bit annoying because you can just buy it. But it could be cool if some unique restraints like Sirrina's Yoke could unlock it. Not sure what the reward would be, but there's a lot of potential. I also really like the idea of making the player tie themselves up. That's the best part of bondage for me, the thrill of choosing to be helpless. So this is right up my alley. 5 hours ago, Elsidia said: In Skyrim? neosuduno Posted August 28, 2020 Posted August 28, 2020 I didn't use any mods that adjust time, just sped up my character by 100percent. that still wasn't enough. it takes an in game day to go from rorikstead to solitude, so try setting the event to 3-4 days rather than 1-2. Otherwise, it just isn't possible, even with fast travel.

Otherwise, it just isn't possible, even with fast travel. You are going from Whiterun to Rorikstead to Solitude? It may be the safest route but far from the fastest. edit: I say this having just made that trip in reverse (i.e. Solitude to Laura's Shop, via Rorikstead, with an accidental detour through Riverwood cause I missed my turn due to blindfold) at timescale 10 in a little less than 2 days, with 16 hours of sleeping, ankle chains halving my movement speed, and I spent a good portion of the trip sneaking slowing me down further. So skipping the sleeping, sneaking, and the detour; (no ankle chains and timescale 20 cancel each other out) it should take at most a day and a half to make that trip assuming you aren't getting sidetracked too severely. Side note: I just checked my days to sleep ratio in stats and it is ~7.85 hours of sleep per day passed I am somewhat surprised I've managed to keep that up for almost 3 game months now. I usually turn off the need to sleep in RND by now because it gets in the way too severely.

I never had any trouble doing this on time, the few times I failed was because I was too lazy to ask the innkeeper for the whereabouts of the recipient and ran off in the wrong direction, or slept first bc I didn't think they'd expect delivery in the deep of the night.
