Hello, just added in all the AAF stuff, including this mod and the list of recommended animations.

When start up a new game Violate shows up in the MCM, but it never seems to work, character just gets killed in combat without any fun stuff inbetween.

Did you configure any autosurrender conditions or set up and use a surrender hotkey? Turned on the feature to prevent player death in case you get one-shotted before you or a surrender trigger could react?

And, what animations do you have installed?

I did set up a hotkey, and switched on godmode, even bumped up the surrender health minimums to 40%

Try looking at this Guide , it should help you get all the necissary animations and get them set up correctly.

Try turning Rounds until Perversion to 0. Or install Letio's animations which have aggressive animations. Also turn off females in gang bangs unless you have a patch that includes them.

When you hit the hotkey, does anything happen?  If you are not in combat you should see a message that says "There is no one here to surrender to", if you try to surrender to enemies the mod isn't configured for you will see "I cannot surrender to these enemies".  If you see neither message then chances are the mod isn't running for some reason, usually due to F4SE or AAF not being installed correctly.  In that case, post your script log and we can probably figure out what's going on.

I get no messages about the mod, just the better use a stimpack alert. I just did a fresh mod install, to clear out some of the possible cruft.

That's because nothing is running. That save is proked to hell.

Try starting a new game and make sure your using F4SE to start the game. You should see a notice from Violate about it loading up after you leave the character creator.

Okay. I do use FOSE to open the game each time. I also have the different mod collection modules from Nexus  up and running. Should I try w/o them and just do

FOSE

MCM

Looks Menu

AAF Violate

some animations?

And then start trying to add things on top after?

Heya! I'm trying to fix my problem with the animations not being played but anytime I surrender it forces the AAF menu close and I can't check the logs to see what's going on. Is that intended or am I screwing something up?

EDIT

got the mod working (wrong Leito animation version bricking AAF from what I can gather) but still wondering about the AAF menu thing

Assuming you mean F4SE, at a minimum your list there is still missing AAF and Themes as well.

Edit: And probably at least nude body replacers for men and women. Potentially other things too. See The Fucking Manual for a more complete list of recommendations and options.

By default, Violate hides the UI when it plays an animation, but there is a Violate MCM option to keep the UI visible during scenes.

Run this on any NPC with a stuck animation.. crippled, smoking... etc.

I put it in a stuck.txt file and just run bat stuck.

Is there another way? I have an NPC here that is stuck but not responding to the command.
The message is the following:

Spoiler

That doesn't work on AAF scenes. Use the AAF menu to end the scene.

Ok, I'll check when I'm back in Sanctuary.

However, the NPC has been stuck for a long time, strangely enough, sometimes tending plants or standing around in other places and sliding back and forth. She also says something (comment mod), but I can't speak to her, nor can I call up the trade menu or get sex via autonomy.

Have you tried selecting her in the console then typing resetreference then resurrect ?

no, not yet. I don't know the first command either, what does that do? I was able to read something about the second command here.

resetreference completely clears and spawns the character selected or object selected for that matter. Ever see a car fall off the overpass as you approach? Once you get near it select the car in the console window then type the resetreference and it'll disappear from in front of you and respawn in it's proper place on the overpass. Same with a character, it'll dissappear and a fresh character will be respawned, they will be naked however that's why when you do it to a character you need to do the resurrect so that they equip their items.

Hi, I know this is unrealistic but could you add more player stealing options after defeat?
I would like to be able to choose what kind of object could be stolen from us and what not, and in what quantity.

For example in my case I would like the clothes / armor (even just the clothes) to remain in my inventory. Maybe just the outfit I had equipped at the time of the defeat.
It's okay that my weapons and supplies are stolen. It makes perfect sense.
For caps, supplies and ammunition there could be in addition to the dry choice "YES / NO" also the percentage of what is stolen from you.

What do you think?

OK, thanks for the explanation.
It is an NPC from Tales of Commonwealth. So if I delete it, it spawns in the old place, i.e. somewhere - if I understand you correctly? So I couldn't apply the second command until I see her naked?

You should still be able to even if you're not in the same place. But you can always use `player.moveto thatref` or just `moveto player` to confirm it worked.

It doesn't really delete her just reloads her base form, she should respawn at her spawn point and since you still have her id in the console you don't need to see her or move her to you or you to her, just type in the resurrect and no matter where she respawned she'll re-equip all her items.
