I recall across many characters, that I would occasionally find single pieces of queen Sara's (I think that was her name) equipment. I did this quest once when I went through the whole DCL questline, but I can't stand dealing with Nazeem anymore, so in the latest game I left Chloe in the dungeon, thus canceling the whole thing.

 

Funnily enough, she appeared as one of the guests during wedding in the temple of Mara, still tied to a pole, some 100 hours later. Sasha was also there, even though I have never visited Dollmaker's shop on this character.

I take a short look on quest scripts and can say - it's integrated now in Bound in Skyrim line.

You can try to start quest by spawning book and read it, but it will try close previous Bound in Skyrim quest line

Also at end it will force you to return to Melanie and start the cursed collar quest.  But i don't guaranty that you not break all by this.

Use it on own risk to damage DCL and your own save. If you have enough time - save a game to special save and keep it. Then continue game on other save. When at end all broken do this:

1) Close Skyrim to windows don't load good save. Skyrim can damage save as variables in memory after load not clean and go into save.

2) Run Skyrim again and load save before you read a book - you still keep old good save without Bound Queen quest.

3) Lost all progress, what done in this quest time and possible new quest - Cursed collar.

Simple "No" would've sufficed.

So i don't know if it from this mod or another one but when i went to interect with an npc from this mod i got an ctd caused by (XAudio2_7.dll+2CD25) which i don't even know what caused it exactly

It's some audio bug, not this mod. If you'll google it, there are reference going back years and even to other games.

ok also i used cmd to see what else might be wrong and i some how had corrupted files (didn't work for that nexus mod)

Anyone found solution for MCM dissapire? Its looks like dcl still working, i'm getting dialogs, but DCL MCM  empty. Maybe console command to reload MCM?

Neat - I found an unused, but almost entirely finished (it finishes without a problem, but I can tell the author pretty much just cut it short) quest in this mod that doesn't appear to be connected anywhere. You can play it by typing this in the console:

  startquest dcur_hq_quest

It kind of feels like an alternate start scenario, but I haven't seen it invoked anywhere.

Hey all,

 

So i recently reinstalled all my mods on the newest version 1.6.1170, and I got to the point where I'm installing this mod. But it's not working, It's not initializing and the events are not triggering.

 

  • I tried Reinstalling the mod and all it's requirement
  • Tried on a fresh new install of Skyrim AE 1.6.1170
  • Checking the setting in-game and disabling/enabling the "cursed loot events"
  • Shutting down "DCL functions" and re-enabling them, (But this shows a messages about a children tag?)
  •  

 

Also, I've noticed that selecting the "Free Me" Option doesn't do anything. And selecting my "cursed loot device threshold" only goes from 5 to 0 and doesn't go any higher.

 

Here is my loadorder, any and every help is every appreciated!! I can't play the game without this mod

1. Start a new game.
2. Wait 30 secs, or not at all. It's really just telling Skyrim that you MEAN it. Or so.
3. Quit to menu.
4. Start another new game.
5. Enjoy.

Make sure you don't have any of the mods known to conflict -  check the troubleshooting post. Free me is currently broken i believe, and it's not recommended to use the debug options anyway. If locks are broken for you, you've fucked up your DD install somehow. Make sure DD and DD NG are installed properly and working. You should not be using any old script patches. You should not be using and standalone versions of DDa, DDi, or DDx - these old versions will break DD and are already included in the 5.2 install.

 

And as an FYI, if you've started the Chloe quest, then events are disabled while that (and some other DCL quests) are running. It's normal and expected, events will start up again once the debug tab says no active quests.

 

If the MCM is not initializing, follow the steps in the post above.

That quest is the entry point for the Alternate Start LAL Captured Princess quest. @El_Duderino mentioned this in a post several years ago:

Did not use this mod for a long time now and was more relying on others. So after skimming through the topic and not finding any reliable information, my question is: is this thing still being developed further?

 

I remember everything came to a stop after the release of Skyrim AE in late 21. I also remember many patches for a lot of unfriendly bugs have been made but many of them never made it into a new version or a bigger patch compendium or they remained a rather personal matter.

 

But while DD was developed further and I was always hoping that also this gem would get a refreshing treatment, since 3 years nothing has happened here.

 

It would be a shame if there is nothing going on anymore as this was by far one of the most sophisticated, immersive and refined mods using the DD framework.

 

But I can also understand that figuring out scripting bugs and keyword issues (and the mod was full of these) is a comparatively tedious exercise.

DCL does work in late patches of Skyrim SE like Anniversary Edition. But, so far as I'm aware, there's no further development going on with the mod. It's been about 6 years since there was any active development on it outside of bug fixes and patching.

That said - there is quite a bit of content in this mod. The main story arc is probably 6 to 8 hours of content (unless you're cheating), and there are ... I want to say 2 different side quests. As well as an alternate start scenario that you can trigger at any time from the console.

Kimy was planning to update DCL next, but we've heard nothing further since 5.2 was released. That was a year long beta, some of the time since then is likely just taking a break after intense effort, some could be she's not at a stage where public feedback is needed. But none of us have anything further, just that something was planned and has not happened yet.

It is. If you use LAL, you'll get a new option "I'm a captured princess about to be sold as sex slave" or something with similar wording. You start in a set of restraints and have to find a key by following clues. A pretty straightforward quest, but can take a while to complete, as you're put in extreme hobble dress and running is not an option. It ends near Helgen that had just been destroyed.  Makes a good introduction to investigating Helgen, finding Chloe and going on a bondage adventureb with her.

I don't think there's an actual way to do that - but I do seem to remember a key being like up on the door or something.

I just always unlocked it from the console.

@zarantha I was trying to figure out why Simple Slavery equips slave gag instead of rubber doll collar. I was using the DCL script fix file from your compilation post. So i checked the clocktickscript and from source file looked good. But i decompiled the .pex file you had made, and it had this:

This post was what i had downloaded.

 

I made the recompiling for all of them, if it went right...

I tested only 1 thing, replacing the scripts with an ongoing savefile, set SS++ only outcome the doll collar and triggered the auction, then doll collar was equipped after teleport. So far so good.

Also did a run through the DCL prison, they let me out after 1 full day by an event. I didn't notice any issues other than prisoner chains being super laggy on latest DD NG on AE. I changed FSMP config xml to allow only 7% of frame time for physics instead of 30%.

I have no idea. the only thing i would have touched would have been updating one of them for SLIF, which I don't use anymore. Other scripts on there are likely someone else's contributions I put there to make it easier to find.

@Zaflis - there's a bug in the SS++ script. There's a patch in here somewhere that'll fix it - but I couldn't point you to it. Just search this topic for "script" and "simple slavery" and you'll probably find it.
