I don't know what to say, i did look over the SS++ script too and saw no mistakes. The scripts from DCL side were definitely bugged as i proved. And this alone did make it work for me so.

 

I mean it was deceiving because the script's source code was always correct...

That looks the very same one i just now fixed. I downloaded it again to be sure, and sure enough it contains the slavegag quest start in rubberdoll function. You can download "Champollion" to decompile PEX files, just drag the file over it in explorer and PSC version will appear next to it.

So I fixed the script source file, but compiled the original bugged script from DCL?

 

Oops, that was a dumb mistake. Sorry about that, and @Zaflis thanks for finding the problem!

Has anyone had this problem before? Do you know how to solve it? I'm using the CBBE body.

This happens during Chloe's quest, right after falling into Nazen's trap. The chains don't stay connected and the clothes don't appear, if I try to re-equip the body becomes invisible and then goes back to being naked. I have tried different body types and it didn't show any results.

for a few seconds everything is normal but after some mod loads they disappear. Maybe some unforgiving devices setting?

Turn off everything under DD's Device Hider tabs in the DD mcm. DD NG's device hider is ... overly enthusiastic.

In DD NG the hider needs to be turned off in the Devious Devices.ini file, the MCM option is grayed out.

 

But i don't think it will fix the prisoner chains from bugging, they have always been broken.

No. You have to walk. Yes, it is far.

 

Although this specific dialogue is from Slaverun if I recall correctly. DCL itself won't block you from talking to drivers, but wearing any heavy hand restraint, you won't be able to activate the carriage anyway.

I don't have slaverun, so some mod took its place, maybe devious carriage, which I can't test because the save corrupts without the mod

Thanks for the help, now I'm going to go on a long trip from east to west, literally

You can use carriages in all DCL quests, it even adds some specific dialog options if it is not normally possible. To Dawnstar it meant adding a new driver, and there is also an NPC for travel added at Markath stables (but she won't talk to you outside of certain quest).

Yes, a dialogue that instantly teleports you to the destination... which is not present on carriage drivers, if you use something like CFTO because CFTO replaces all of the vanilla ones with their duplicates and disables original NPCs. In which case you still need to buy a regualr ticket and then interact with the carriage to board it. But it is not possible to interact with most stuff, including beds, crafting stations and carriages if you're wearing any hand restraints that bind you on the back. This is default DD behaviour. However you can bypass it by using Better Third Person Selection, since it has it's own targeting system, independent from vanilla. DD does not black it.

 

DCL would need a proper compatibility patch with CFTO, but AFAIK one was never made. The only one that does exist, moves the driver in Dawnstar a bit, so both would not occupy the same spot.

 

What I usually do, when I don't feel like walking across all Skyrim is just coc to the relevant city.

Go ask on skyfurry. That is well outside DCL's scope.

I believe they should either have a patch already curated or a process to convert NPCs that aren't in base skyrim over to skyfurry.

it reqires a patch on skyfurrys end i alerady posted there asking if the team could make a patch, there is a way for me to do it myself with the creation kit but i have almost no idea how to use the CK

Used this mod for years on Oldrim and loved it, but I've tried a few times to use this with AE, getting weird problems every time. So i've changed to a few seperate mods that give similar functionality. But this has a few devices that I really love and was wondering if anyone knows how to (and potentially would anyone be willing to) extract these 4 devices and essentially put them in their own devious devices compatible mod:

 

Balloon hood from the duderino folder and the penis gag, heavy collar and cloth blindfold in the dasha file folder

 

I know how to find the meshes and textures, that's where my knowledge runs out.

Has anyone managed to get V9 working in VR or has anyone a download for V8.4. I get regular freezes in V9 with this as a stack dump. This wasn't an issue in the previous versions.

You're better off checking the VR threads. I believe there's a no spin patch, but i don't know if it needs anything else.

It has nothing to do with spinning. Neither is the VR thread very usefull regarding this issue.


It's the dcur_clocktickrefscript and other things like the MCM hanging when you enter the Debug tab or enable rape which other people (that probably aren't playing in VR) also reported here. Both of which worked in DCL 8.4.

Open your save in ReSaver and see if there are many active scripts flooding your Papyrus system. Other than that you might miss some essential mods, perhaps you can see something in the SexLab's MCM page as it is checking on some available mods.

 

Basically DCUR scripts themselves should never be the problem, other mods are just hindering it some way.
