Sometimes when using DCLs MCM all tabs work, except Debug. Debug cannot be opened, and clicking it causes MCM to freeze. No amount of waiting fixes this. After reopening MCM all mods work, except DCL. The DCL MCM can't be opened, it's entirely blank and freezes MCM again. When the MCM reload command is used, DCL is completely removed from MCM. Infos: -DCL is not overwritten by anything -Skyrim AE .1170 -ZAP 8+ -MO2 Oddities: -Problem started occurring after the .1130 update -This bug can occur randomly (more often after starting DCL quests) -Reinstalling DCL and starting a new save can fix the issue temporarily -Loading previous saves doesn't work (problem carries over)  If you want specific information, I'll gladly provide!

Start a new game and play for a while to see if you get it with just DCL itself. If you don't, then load mods back in one at a time until the issue reoccurs. But that's likely to be extremely tedious unless you have a surefire way to force the issue to occur.  You could also try splitting your mod list in half and playing with that to see if it reoccurs or not. if it doesn't, the issue is likely a conflict in the half you disabled. If it does, it's a conflict with one of the mods you left enabled. Split again and repeat until you find the conflicting mod.  I'd focus on mods that affect skyui and mcm first, but that's no guarantee as to where the problem is.

Using setstage SKI_ConfigManagerInstance 1 after the bug occurred causes DCL to be removed from MCM. Troubleshooting post? I didn't know that existed, thanks for the info. I have not discovered a way to force the bug to occur, but I'll try finding one. "Load mods back in one at a time until the issue reoccurs" *looks at 500+ Mods in despair* I'll try finding a way to force it,  then try halving the mod list and loading mods in batches. If I don't find a way to force it, I'll just deactivate all quests in DCL MCM and hope for the best. Thanks for the continued support!  Edit: Tried various Mods and DCL quests to provoke Bug, didn't work. Note: Converted DCL Form 43 Plugin to 44. Some DCL quests now work Things I found: -Striptease collier doesn't work -Rubber doll & cursed collar can be triggered, but seem to ignore probability Setting -Event set to 0.0 probability can trigger= Slave gag -Some Items that bind the arms behind the back make Suits invisible  I'm in the process of building a new mod list, and since I didn't find a way to trigger it I'll just finish building and start Playing. Might take another whack at doing that the next time the mod is updated on the LE side, but in the meantime leaving it form 43 hasn't broken it for anyone else.  No, DCL can't be removed mid game. You can try to clean your save, but there's so many scripts its more likely than average to corrupt your save when removed. i usually only do that to add it back in after the save is cleaned and i've never played long term on those saves. always end up restarting anyway because things start breaking.  If you have any patches for DCL from other mods or even in this thread, try removing them. Despite the DCL MCM not working, things like the cover animation still do. I've now started a long game (its working), is it possible do deactivate DCLs functions without MCM by editing files?  After long deliberation I've also decided to use the secret arcane techniques of "just not opening the debug menu ever" to bridge this problem. Navmesh errors are hit and miss on if you need to worry or ignore, and i don't know enough about the mod and it's navmeshing to say, which is why i left it unconverted. Â To disable DCL without the MCM, you'd need console commands that aren't publicly available. I don't know them, and I doubt anyone other than Kimy knows, the normal answer is disable it in the mcm. You can try looking at the mcm scripts or the esp in sse edit to see if you can reason it out, but I doubt it will be easy. Â Probably for the best to just stay out of there. 1

Ok I'm very confused with all of this crap with the multiple versions.  I'm trying to install Slaverun on Special Edition and I'm having to piss around trying to find random comments here and there sometimes with conversions that aren't listed / showing in search. Most of the requirements seem to be no longer around or converted, or someone just alludes vaguely that they're in the thread somewhere.  The mod page for SR is just a copy/paste and all the links send you to the OG Skyrim pages which are fundementally useless.  Can someone please simply just point me to where tf this mod is? I have linked the SE requirements for DD in the DD SE installer, although that's only up to SE (AE) version 1.6.640. If you have SE (AE) version 1.6.1130 or 1.6.1170 you'll likely need to find 'NG' requirements for some of those mods.  For DD, that means installing DD NG on top of DD SE/AE/VR 5.2.  DCL has no DLL and does not care which version of SE specifically that you are on, just that it's pre requisites are working. So if you get a working install of DD SE then you'll be fine.  I don't know about slaverun and have never used it. I have no clue what the problem is, all I can recommend is to make sure nothing overwrites DCL and to never, under any circumstances touch the Debug menu, or in your case the rape menu.

I've installed SR now and I'm now just getting a small error saying it needs DD 4.0/4.1, but that's not your issue to deal with as it's not your mod. Thanks again

Yea I could go into the back no problem and finish the LAL stuff, still, figured Id report it for being a weird bug... Weird, I ran through it backwards and finished the "A new Life" quest, but I can't find anything on any of the imperial bodies. It's driving me nutz! Any clues on how you solved it beyond going backwards through the cave? EDIT: Disregard, I'm bloody daft. I had the damned note on my the whole time I was searching for it. Â Then i thought about how to make refusing the quest a little more immersive. Â 1. If you refuse to help her but unlocks her she will walk away to find her package alone and you'll find her later walking around in whiterun wearing the same restraints you will in her quests. when you get there. so it would be kind of a simulated version of the first quest but without the player. after a while as you travel she will pop up in riften when you get there. then after a few ingame days or something you'll finally see her locked up in either a cage or some furniture outside the dollmakers shop after she finnished finding it as punishment. and if you talk to her she will tell you the things she had to do. It would simulate her doing the quests without needing the AI to do much more than walking around. Â 2. if you refuse to unlock her and after you have walked out there will be an npc(or you can say this to any npc) male or female outside or in some town and you can tell them something like "there is a girl locked in helgen" and if you say this to an npc he will run there offscreen and enslave her and you can see him walking around with a tied up and gagged chloe around skyrim after a while and if you approach them and talk to her she will say(or try since she is gagged) "You bitch, you ruied my life" or something like that. Â 3. if you dont unlock her and doesnt tell anyone for like some ingame days she will despawn and if you go back there will be a skeleton there named "chloe's remains" or something similar. kind of dark but yeah. I just get container keys, no key to ever unlock the door, I do still have one plug inserted, but if I try and remove it, it say "your currently doing something else". Been there about 4 days lol, well 3 hours in real life time. Any ideas how I escape ?, All my autosaves are now inside the room, so i will need to go all the way back to a manual safe if I cant escape.

Pretty sure you need all devices off first. That sounds like an error from UD is it? It has debug MCM menu where you can unlock or unregister the plug. Or you can open DD or DCL's MCM and unlock everything from you (If you use DCL menu it might mess with your ongoing quests, it's a last resort!). Â Or ofc you can remove the plug with console command too. But after you are free and you still don't find a key (or door doesn't automatically open after free?), you can use "unlock" console command on the door or just walk through it with "tcl". 1

Had Configured MCM for Deviously Cursed Loot, but didnt think to recheck my UD settings as I loaded that a while ago, they were all messed up and not saved from before, didnt realise there is a save button before exiting.

When I found her keys and unlocked her, she would just to continue animate struggle animations for the post that she is tied to and not detach from the post. No matter how many times I'd reload the same thing would happen and I could not detach her from that post. Any suggestions or experience with this? Edited September 5, 2024 by pnutz78 typo

Workaround: Go into console, select Cloe, type "disable" and then "enable" and you can continue. 1

Since I am going to try Nemesis (because of a few mods that I think require it), I wonder if DCL will work with it instead of FNIS, or is it safe to install both? Orr are they both so incompatible that they'd conflict with each other (I have not install FNIS yet)? Â Thanks.
