I’m encountering crashes when the Premium Line Shackles (FormID: 090DE972) are applied during the Chloe quest in Deviously Cursed Loot. After investigating with SSEEdit and NifSkope, I found that the NIF file for the shackles (PrisonerChains01_go.nif) references physics-related objects (hkCollisionObject) but lacks an XML configuration under hdtSkinnedMeshConfigs. Could you confirm if this is a missing file or provide guidance on a fix? For now, using non-HDT Bodyslide meshes has worked as a temporary solution. Thank you!

Thank you!  No, it's just that the SMP on those shackles doesn't like some computers, assuming you have FSMP installed and working correctly. If you don't have FSMP, then that's why you're crashing. SMP is required, and CBPC is not a substitute in this case.  BTW, the _go.nifs are the ground meshes, not what you're actually wearing. That's what you see when you drop them on the ground, or in your inventory. The actual meshes are the prisonerchains01.nif from DD. The workaround if you have everything installed correctly is to simply build the non HDT chains, as you've already found.
DTESSurvivor Posted February 3, 2025 Posted February 3, 2025 Having an issue with the Chloe mission in the second meeting of Nazeem in the Hall of the Dead. We gave him the beer and he fell over asleep and the mission progressed to "Search Nazeem" however nothing seems to have materialized on his person and the only key being for his house.   Just out of curiosity what am I supposed to find (number please) and what stage should I progress the quest to once I have it?

Nice that it's as configurable as it is, I enjoy it the most when I'm wearing restraints about 50% of the time and can effectively strategize to avoid staying in the restraints that severely affect gameplay for very long. Â Couple bugs I thought I'd report: After Day 2, the Dagonar Prison quest stops working. The foreman asks me to make myself stew, and after I do, he asks me to make it again, but this time doesn't give me an opportunity to gather ingredients. Sasha will not equip any restraints via the inventory screen, including her own. She always returns them to me with the "please use the ones made for me instead" message. (Which is a shame, because I wanted to see her in the shackles.)

Should be a dialog option when you activate him. you should be given a key that is not his house key.

(Which is a shame, because I wanted to see her in the shackles.)  Sasha you equip her items through dialog, iirc. i don't think she wears anything except her stuff, but others might know.  I don't recall any issues with dagonar offhand for the stew, other than make sure you are not skipping through the dialog quickly. let it play out at its own pace.

The problem is that there seem to be some items for Sasha for which no dialogue exists to equip them. Primarily, Sasha's Shackles. And I never received the vibrator that is implied to exist by "Sasha's Vibrator Control" either.

Â i noticed that if the character is equipped with armbinder, from the setting in devious device, it will auto struggle accordingly to script. no problem on this. but when the character goes swimming or other action, the arm will be show outside of the armbinder until reaching the shore or completed the action. So it's my FNIS issue? Â But then, there is no such issue when the character got caught in boxbinder, arm is inside the boxbinder when swimming, chopping wood like telekinesis stuff like that. however, the auto struggle and other script like shock is not running instead. so my issue again? Â by the way, i just started replayed skyrim se after long , i may have missed out many things.

But it is possible there just aren't swimming animations made for all devices yet, it's quite some work.

Can have some light spoilers. All interactions with Sasha goes through special her menu in dialogue, if i remember correct, starts with Sasha. If you lost some of items, you can buy special box from Dollmaker and when you open it, it restores a missed items. There items can duplicate but it not mess anything. Only her collar can't be restored in that way. If i remember correct it can be restored only by console add this collar to your inventory, not Sasha's All interactive menus work in progressive mode. When you equip some items, after exit menu and return, it will shows new options. The same for uneuip only in reverse order. If you unequip Sasha's slave collar, she got free and can refuse equip restraints. At this moment can be activated Sasha's dominated side and she can dominate over you and even equip her collar to player. Sasha is more strict domina as Leah, so now god will keep you safe) Also you can equip back Sasha's collar through special Sasha's dialogue, if it not on you or not lost from your inventory and she will obey again. What can mess up with it? If Sasha got on some random restraints from events as your follower, interactive menus blocks and it act like a some Sasha's restraints is equipped. You can unequip those restraints thought interactive menu sometimes, if you have key for those items or just unequip through standard Sasha's inventory (with keys) If there is some damaged restraints in Sasha's inventory it will block forever and you need remove those using console with mind. Also if some of special Sasha's items is lost, menu not shows up, so you need buy box from Dollmaker and restore missed items.  Now about your problem. Vibrators not need. Those is build into Sasha's chastity belt. After you equip thought menu all chastity devices in menu will show new dialogue equip Sasha's vibrators and now you can use remote control to vibrate her. As about shackles those is last in equip order, so when you "pack" Sasha completely will show up shackles equip menu. If i remember correct this is as optional choice you can equip shackles or other restrictive item (maybe armbinder, don't remember correct) And those option will activated only when used fully restrictive option in dialogue. Also incomplete textures of what? Why do you say they are incomplete, how do you see them? Boxbinder was set as suit which is a body restrict and not hand restrrict like armbinder or elbow binder. i got that from re-reading the DD forum. And also no, i didn't install Devious Device NG. I dare not to disturb the current load that i have. But is DD NG better that DD SE?

There are other behind the scenes improvements to take advantage of advances made in SE recently. There are still some things being worked on, as it's still in active development, but I've not seen anything that breaks things worse than the current issues DD already has.Â

The melting is a skeleton issue. Missing forearms though hasn't been a thing for years with DD and DCL. Are you sure you grabbed the SE version of both DD and DCL? That bug is from missing forearm partitions in the plugin, it's fixed in the SE versions and not required (and therefore doesn't exist) in the LE plugins. You also shouldn't have any DD mods separately installed.  Make sure you do not have DD Assets, DD Integration, DD Expansion, or DD Contraptions installed separately. Those are old LE mods and incompatible with both SE and DD5.x Make sure you have DD SE/AE/VR 5.2 installed. DD NG can optionally be installed on top of DD (if you do, remove the DD SE patch from the plugins in DD 5.2). Make sure you have DCL SE 9.0 installed. Make sure FSMP is installed and working. You should not be using any other SMP mod by now, the others are all outdated. And CPBC is not a substitute here - the chains require SMP. Make sure nothing (except MNC and ABC if you use them) overwrites the XP32 skeleton.

Don't really know why exactly I did that (booted up an older modlist of mine) but I've turned CBPC off now. I do use the NG add-on, but I already have the DD SE patch turned off. For DD, I have the one that says it's for SE, AE, and VR; version 5.2. I also have DCL 9.0 on this list already. I think it might've been the CBPC thing that was causing issues. It's fine to have both FSMP and CBPC, it's just CBPC by itself isn't sufficient. The melting is only something seen when your skeleton doesn't support SMP. So if you still have that, then you have a skeleton issue somewhere. As a work around though, you can build the non HDT version of the prisoner chains and other chains. Â
