About This File

Yes, it's really back.

v0.98g adds Player suggested destinations for released Captives back as an option (Whiterun only for now), adds more voicing, and cumulatively combines the several patches to v0.98f.  May resolve the detection issue for PAHE, EFF, and SoS experienced by some users.

ILL PHIL & CATCH 22 - BACK AGAIN by ILL PHIL(Phil Dolman)

Concept:

"SBC is an immersion mod.  Bandits do bandit-ing which involves kidnapping.  That is the premise.  Everything else was added to be a part of that immersive experience.  SBC is not designed as, nor was it ever, a simple sex mod." - @Corsayr

Moreover, SBC is about agency.  Human beings act with intention and are goal oriented.  They also have differing amounts of abilities and resources resulting in some having greater agency (power) than others. Finally, human beings use their intellect to guide their actions and predict the consequences of their actions.  SBC explores the decisions of agency; those who have it and how they respond to those who do not.

SBC is now quest based and the mod and quests are built around a (still developing) storyline.  @EinarrTheRed graciously devoted his significant talent to building seven unique new bandit camps, included in SBC, with more to follow.

FAQ:

Spoiler

Q1:  Is this a joke?

A1:  No.

Q2:  It's really back?

A2:  Yes.

Q3:  Why the use agreement?

A4:  To make it clear to everyone any site other than LoversLab.com which you may find versions of this mod, in part or in whole, are stolen content perpetrated by mod pirates.

Q5:  Why is the file size so large?

A5:  Head meshes and textures for 91 captives, tailored in RaceMenu, who are also potential followers, plus outfits, plus over 1700 voiced lines (both VA and xVASynth).

Q6:  In the last version . . .

A6:  Which is totally incompatible with the current version.  Leave your expectations at the door because SBC has fundamentally changed.  Some things will be astonishingly similar, many things will be totally new.  A few features have been disabled pending further development and testing: Custom Captives, 3rd Person interactions among them.  Upgrade from anything <v0.98 must be done on a new savegame or a save completely cleaned of all previous versions of SBC.

Q7:  What about AE compatibility?

A7:  No idea.  It's been tested on LE and SSE.  Update: From user reports, the SSE version seems to work on AE without issue.

Q8:  What about BodySlide for XXXX body type for the outfits?

A8:  On the roster for development, ultimately to support both the UUNP and CBBE families with BodySlide support.

Q9:  What about High Poly Head?

A9:  Yes!  One proof of concept has been completed for low-poly to high-poly conversion.  It will be a time consuming slog, and probably low priority, but is on the development roster.  See Q5 above - HPH will make file size even larger.

Q10:  Why is Apachii hair no longer supported?

A10:  It doubled the work, it's outdated, it required its ESP to be checked in, and the selection was much more limited than KSHair.

Q11:  Can this be made an ESL?

A11:  No.  Way too much going on here for that.

Q12:  Will this wreck my pristine savegame I've carefully built for several years?

A12:  No idea.  Try it and report back.  It's an ever-growing WIP and new wrinkles are discovered daily.

Q13:  I don't wanna go read a note.  Can't I just use AddItem to get the note and read it?

A13:  No.  Go read an 'effing note where you're supposed to.  Alternative paths won't work.

Q14:  Will there be any player as a sub content (or even player as a bandit captive content)?

A14:  No, no and, lemme think . . . no.  Never.  Plenty of mods do that sort of thing; it doesn't fit with the developing story and it's not going to be in this one.  Also won't be male Captives to double the dialogue work or beast races.

Dependencies (aside from Skyrim.esm and Update.esm, obviously):

  • SexLab (Hard Dependency) - by Ashal (Provides animation framework)
  • SexLabAroused Redux (Hard Dependency) - by fishburger67 (Specifically designed to "minimize the papyrus impact of Aroused")
  • KSHAIRDOS - Renewel (Soft Dependency) - by Kalilies and Stealthic (SBC will run without this, but the captives will all be bald.  Need not be checked in, just the files in place.)
  • . . . and the other subordinate mods required by the above.

Installation Instructions:

Spoiler

LE Instructions:

  1. Upgrade from anything <v0.98e must be done on a new savegame or a save completely cleaned of all previous versions of SBC.
  2. Download the most current SexyBanditCaptives LE (top Mega link "F8URATIR")
  3. Run FOMOD through your MO, as applicable.  If manual, extract and install the desired options.
  4. Check the SexyBanditCaptives.esp in your MO
  5. Run FNIS!  None of the animations will work if you don't do this!

Note: If you are prompted to overwrite the file SOS_AddonQuest_Script, you may do so without concern.  It's a small tweak that suppresses an on-screen notification.

SSE Instructions:

  1. Same as LE but use SexyBanditCaptives SSE (bottom Mega link "kokGDZQC")

Reported Unresolved Mod Conflicts:

Spoiler
  • Requiem or its patch Requiem for the Indifferent (causes essential dialogue to not display) Update: partial success with Requiem 2.0
  • Character Creation Overhaul - Races - Birthsigns - Classes - Skills - Specializations - Attributes
  • Disparity - Dialogue options missing once class and skill selected; reversible if unselected
  • UFO - Ultimate Follower Overhaul - the game loads up, but it seems like you get script errors (papyrus mods all reset, some won't load etc.)
