Jokes aside, at one point (when Selenia's eyes are adjusting to the brighter light of one room), even the narrator started replacing other letters with "i". It wasn't an "y", but I think in about one month or two you'll be in search of Eylons as well. No shyt.

Well hiding as in I wasn’t pointing it out....but I think since day 1, only Gabrielle and Jenna were the only ones cursing with the correct spelling. Everyone else in Erywon was cursing with the other spelling. 
 

I just pulled the Battlestar Galactica cheap/lazy way of cursing (*frak) so I wouldn’t have to come up with new words and develop some historical/societal etymology behind its origin and meaning
