So I finished shooting and editing the first episode of Let's Play Skyrim - Shaydow's Skyrim. I broke it into 2 parts, part 1 we review the mods that we will be using at the start of the game, and in part 2 we start a new game and go to the end of Helgen Keep. The whole episode is almost an hour and 20 minutes long.
So I still need to render it, then upload the whole thing. That will take some time. I don't know how many people are going to be interested in Episode 1, but in Episode 2 I pla

Let me know what you guys think of it. While short, I wanted to give visitors a quick idea of what my mods are all about. Longer more in depth videos will be coming soon.
I'll start the first episode sometime this weekend if my kids go to their Nana's house. I would have started it earlier, but my kids haven't had school the past two days due to weather.
Heh so the other day I shot about 15 clips for the video I was going to make. Was going to splice them together then add commentary over it. Went to work on it today only to realize that while shooting the clips, my damn mic was on! Doh, so ya they are all ruined, unless you want to hear me coughing, talking to myself, scratching my ass, etc.
So I decided to hell with it, and I'm just going to start on my " Let's Play " type video series. I will be calling it Shaydow's Skyrim, and I will be
After reading updates on the Sanguine Debauchery thread, I started missing the dynamics of that mod while testing my own developments. Since SD2 is still some time away, I gave the latest version of SD1 a go and started porting back the updates I made a few months back to the Sexis release (updates never released because I was waiting for SD2).
Meanwhile, @jbezorg stopped support of SD1 and allowed updates to be posted, so here is a quick overview of what this release will be about.

So I've been reworking the ENB I shared on this blog a little while back. Hence why it was never released. On the advice of some testers, I've toned down the colors to not be so " vibrant ", so grass is green but not "popping" green, and completely re hauled the DoF ( depth of field ). I've always felt personally that most DoF's in Custom ENBs are either WAAAAY to strong, or built only for people who play in 1st person. As a 3rd person player, I never used them simply because they didn't really
So as some of you who follow my work \ youtube channel may know, I recently decided to make my videos a bit nicer. My first step was to just learn how to splice the video together and do transitions and swipes, something you can see in the last 2 videos I posted. Well today I worked on adding Audio into it. Not just audio from say music, or sound clips, but my own voice, and not just MY own voice, but I also learned how to make it so both myself and my wife could comment in real time on my video
Thought I would share some screen caps of my adventures while play testing multiple mods. Some of these are older and I hadn't shared them yet, a lot of them are from me doing the thieves guild quest line the last 2 days.
Enjoy, and remember this is still a HEAVY Work In Progress.
We need to have a chat, fellow modders. Yes, all of you, that like me have created some work, and uploaded it to Nexus, or perhaps on LoversLab, or some other website. If you are not aware then you will know that Nexus, the currently largest Skyrim modding community decided to change its policies and terms of service1.
Now you will be asking "So, what?" "How does this affect me?" "I don't have any problem with that." Well, I will introduce you to the problem at hand with Nexus; you are an as
So I have not updated or said much in the last few days. Not really much to say. Still building v7, as well as working on the new body and trying to get all the old armors and forms to work with it. The Celestial Dream Set will not be done, since it had a base of UNP and I included it in Celestials v6 for people who like that body type.
On that note however, I'm REALLY pleased with the new Celestial Body. I had some more tools to work with this time, and I also took the time to really f
There's always a certain aspect of Skyrim that may be overlooked by most players; the books within the game; from the popular "Lusty Argonian Maid" to the famous "Black Arrow" tales. However, a modder here, on LoversLab didn't overlook the books and he actually went ahead and made his own mod that introduced a whole new set of books into the world of Skyrim, adding further into the immersion of the game.
So, I was able to meet Thulas through the recently-made LoversLab IRC channel and he was
While I browse modding communities, but most specifically LoversLab, I notice that we lack a common citation method. Now, I am not going to enforce anything upon you, but please, consider this suggestion when you are about to upload some work that also has more people and mods involved.
I am also aware that most authors (if not all) give credits properly to the correct authors. The Gulra-style citation only exists (and can exist) after the first requirement is fulfilled which is that people
There's always something on my head, always something I want to make; to create, and I start fantasizing about this "thing" that is yet formless, that stays as an abstract series of thoughts and chaos in my head until I sit down and prepare myself to put all these ideas into something real. There are several steps throughout a mod's creation and for Project Aetherius the first step has been completed. However, I feel like sharing what I have done in this "first step" towards my mod's creation.
In case anyone hasn't been following my thread, I finally managed to finish off converting the Apachii Goddess Store to DMRA, and have started working on the Krista "Lady" mods (post three holds what I've done so far). Once I finish that, I'll probably be more or less done with doing conversions for Oblivion. Though if something catches my interest, I might convert it. And yes, I am ignoring any and all requests right now, not sure if I will bother taking any more.
As for Skyrim... Meh. Not
So know what I am doing RIGHT NOW? Reinstalling windows. Yup, my Windows install Drive died today a short time ago. D.E.A.D as a door nail. Again, just like when this happened this last time, while it sucks Monkey balls, I really can't complain. The damn thing lasted about 10 years of constant use and saw usage in 3 different computers. Thankfully, no work on my mods, nothing with skyrim etc was lost, since the only thing that was on the drive was well, windows. I kept telling myself to format m
So I have been trying to decide where \ how to go with the new Celestial Followers that are going to be added in the next version. While through testing and all that I simply had them sitting there waiting for the player to come and say " hey follow me ", I knew I wanted more to it than just the generic "nexus" followers ( you know what I mean ). At first I had thought about putting each of them in faction specific locations that the player would have to access before being able to recruit them.
So ya, I haven't said or done anything in awhile, that's because I was having random shutdowns and crashes on my computer, with well, EVERYTHING I was trying to do. Knowing what I know, I left my computer on all night and left a temperature monitor running and sure enough, my CPU spiked to a high of 97C ( 206F ) while the damn thing was IDLE. So ya, looking into I found my CPU heatsink was dying ( working on and off ). Ordered a new one but had to wait. Used my wifes computer here and there to s
With Alicia 3.0 out the door, I can resume work on my other mods.
Since November is going to be busy (between Thanksgiving and other stuff for work), here is what I am planning:
- November: Fix 'puppy follower' bug with SexLab Mind Control / Tinker with MCM for SexLab Hormones
- December: Add content and quests to The Sisterhood of Dibella
- January: Next major update of Alicia
Here is a more detailed roadmap of what I have in mind. I can't guarantee I will be able to stick with
This has been a long standing work in progress but finally I am making some ground on it, the work you ask? It is the Devil's Pain Ninja Clan Armor. The armor itself actually stems from an old drawing of mine which is an outfit from one of the bad girls in my manga. (Yes despite being a horrible drawer I did do manga, though mainly hentai at one point since people used to actually ask me to work on those for them). Back to the point, this armor is a nice not so symmetrical armor. Actually many o
LOOTTSSSS of pics and a bonus at the end
UPDATE : Been playing around a bit with different meshes, basically dropping the XL body overtop of other bodies in nifskope, with mixed results. Here's one that I like. Just a quick gif. I will probably post more of this, as well as some of the other armors I managed to mess with.
UPDATE 10/13/13: Figured out how to customize the HDT physics and I love the results. Realism can suck it!
UPDATE 11/23/13: I'm probably going to do anot
I wrote this summary as an answer to a question in the forum. It could become a more elaborate tutorial if I find the time.
Question: How would I even add sexlab calls into a quest or script, when the ck doesn't even let me select it due to a multiple masters error?
There is a .ini option to update in order to allow multiple masters in CKeditor. I can't remember it but look it up with google, it is fairly well documented.
In order to compile scripts with SexLab, you will have to ext
I went through some of the better screenshots I took and could not really share, except here
They somehow turned into vignettes about the fate of a few girls from Skyrim.
Gwen was captured on the side of a road one fateful night and turned into a vampire Lord's new living ornament.
A simple farm girl, Valla was captured on her way back from Windhelm and marched down to the Citadel of Mistwatch to be sold at an auction, but not before she had to learn the duties of her new place in
If there is one thing that has been such a fad for me lately is the look of a curvy body in a Pencil Skirt. Every time I see it I just go so so so wild. So I just had that shining moment where I decided that maybe I should try to add it in the game.
I took a fashion friendly approach to it and it actually came out a bit better then expected.
What I did with this Skirt is I took the time to add the nice realistic Se
