Marina inhaled the soft breeze of the wind that caused the night to be even colder. For the first time in centuries she actually could feel what this world is like and not only observe it from the mind that used to be her prison for so long. She felt the cold in her lungs, but it wasn't piercing or even painful like she expected, more a simply awknowledgement that it was there rather than actually be affected by it. For a moment she hold her breath. Again a strange feeling; Marina quickly realized that she had to learn much more about being alive than she expected.

From behind Tia approached Marina and placed her hand on her shoulder, trying to get her attention. She didn't turned around though, simply tilted her head slightly to show her younger sibling she'll shortly listen to what she has to say.

"Y-You..really managed to kill our father? I mean.." Tia gasped as Marina turned around and stared with her amber eyes into her own. Marina pointed with her arm at the horizon and then turned around again, opening her arms as if she'd wanted to embrace it. "This plane is rightfully mine, I deserve to have it as my playground."

She looked back at Tia and sharply stared at her. "And that is why I killed our 'father'. I am set free, imprisoned no longer."

Seeing her sister like this caused Tia to feel insecure, unsave even. A slight wobbly feeling in her legs arose, so she sat down on a rock to regain her balance. Shortly after taking a deep breath she looked up. "May I ask if.."

Again she got interrupted by the amber stare her sister gave her. "As long as you don't get in my way, you may follow me around. Safely."

Silently Tia noded, secretly hoping that this world will welcome them more warmly than the one they just escaped.

The demoness looked down at her little sister shortly and then turned towards the wide horizon in front of her again. While looking at it there were multiple feelings that arose in her; next to euphory due to the new life she just begun there also was a slight feeling of uneasyness. These strange experiences with finally having her own body caused her to worry about how exactly it further is to have a body instead of just watching a hull like her father was interacting with the world. There were many things she had yet to find out. And this led to a hateful anger towards this plane. How it dared to challenge her like that? No one had the right to put her up to something, not even fate or puny forces.

Marina fletched her teeth and slightly growled at the horizon.

"So..what's the plan?" Tia still sat on the stone and looked around. "I mean..what will we do now?"

Marina smiled slightly. "We will learn a bit about this place, find out where we are and get a map. There were a few places that father visited rather often, I am sure we can find many interesting items there." She turned towards Tia and offered her hand to help her getting up. Tia slowly shook her head and then pointed at the pitch black markings covering Marina's body.

"Did it..hurt?"

Again Marina fletched her teeth and noded. "For all the centuries the bastard made me suffer. His death was not nearly as painful enough to repay what I had to endure." Rather quickly an almost wicked smile came across Marina's lips. "But the mortals..they will pay."

Right in the moment when Tia wanted to reply the loud noises of marching men cought their attention. They saw a few men wearing various kinds of armory; leather, hide, iron and some steel. Hardly any of the armor seemed to be custom made and fit for their owner to wear, so these men obviously scavenged and looted the weapons and armor they got. Tia whispered almost silently, fearing they might get detected. "Do you think they are bandits?"

Not sharing the fear of her sibling Marina replied without trying to conceal her voice by whispering. "Does it matter? They are mortals. Prey."

Before Tia could react Marina already ran down the hill towards the road on which the men were marching. She was rather surprised how her elder sister was able to run that fast without causing much noise, but the bandits remained unaware of their presence. Unlike her Tia was rather afraid to face these men, so she stayed in place and observed from afar.

While approaching the mortals Marina felt a tingly feeling in her veins, a desire that pulled her towards those armed men, a hate that caused her blood to flow faster through her body. Slowly a thick fog arose the area and once she reached the bandits it hardly let a man see his own hand in front of his face.

The demoness knew somehow she was responsible for the fog, but the hate was aching to be consumed, so all she cared for in this moment was her right to destroy these human beings.

Yes, it was her right to kill. It was her right to toy around these mortals. And the dying screams from the men echoing out of the fog only verified her born right, her born hate.
