To celebrate putting all of my old Mai stories up on this blog - I went back and finished a story that I had abandoned some months ago. I had only completed the first four parts, and even though I was excited about the story itself Skyrim burnout took hold and I ended up shelving it.
However, following the great feedback I got from this blog I decided to revisit it and complete the tale. This resulted in about 100 new screenshots in 6 new chapters! I really ho

So... I had a variety of people (including Cell! ) tell me about the Shape->Move Shape option in body slide. [i think this should be mentioned in the tutorial? But it's not quite enough...]
So, first I need to open the nif file in nifskope, and locate the Translation values on the NiTriShape nodes. I am trying to figure out how to use bodyslide/outfit studio.
Somehow I seem to run into problems which I cannot find anyone else even talking about.
Do not mind the uv mapping issue - that apparently is normal (bwahahahahaha... why am i the only one laughing here?) for unp->cbbe conversions in bodyslide.
Instead, I am talking about how the shoulders of the dress are where the reference model's knees are. Why is that?

Seriously, I love this shit Just showing off how it should look at night, it's pretty dark but I think it conveys the ethereal, magical setting that I'm going for. Finally got rid of all the excited purple/blue/pink flowers that Vurts wonderful SFO puts into the field grass 02. (See what happens when you put your grass textures at 7? tons of grass pops up!)

Just thought I'd expand on Jora's personality a bit more (and why she uses the types of armour she does) it's nothing massive like Cris, Mist or Storm (she's not that important a character for that) but it should clarify some things (and why she'll occasionally appear in less revealing armour.)

It didn't use to be so hard, but since my car accident learning things has gotten a little more difficult. I try though. Hey everyone!
Finally we arrive at the last fully completed Mai story - detailing what happened when the Jarl of Whiterun decided to thank Mai for her service to the city! There's some pretty heated scenes in this one, so be extra careful! I don't want to be responsible for corrupting your innocent minds!
So now this blog is pretty much bang up to date as far as finished Mai stories are concerned. I'd love to try and get back into Skyrim and start creating some new adventur
