Did another RaceMenu update yesterday and ended up having to roll it back because it broke the backlight option... so I used the opportunity to create another character.
I believe I used the #2 preset on Breton race to create this one... I usually don't make them brunettes but the pieces started falling into place and it felt right.

Going to redo the neck tattoo at some point. Figured out that Mudbox lets you do AMAZING things with a projection stencil painting - do the image at 4096 or whatever the highest your GPU will allow, then scale it down to the appropriate level in photoshop or paint.net and convert to DDS...
which apparently I have to use Paint.NET for now, because for some reason my photoshop's ability to even OPEN a transparent DDS is basically fucked. Guess I'll have to figure out where THAT issue is coming
Still need to make a few tweaks, but ... honestly, it occurred to me somewhat abruptly that what I was really really missing was a few Saints Row inspired tattoos for my dragonborn...
So, obviously, gotta start with the basics. Good grief it is a challenge to get a neck tattoo to look right in this game. Rewarding kind of challenge tho.

Experimenting with her look a little before I finalize it for my set of NPC tweaks.
I'd change her hair up, but I like the original style too much. So I'm sticking with that and just embracing better makeup+trueeyes+brows.
This stage of NPC design is always a little odd because it feels like cosplaying...

Using KS Hairdos again because I love them, along with truebrows. Kept her eyes and scars vanilla.
Other than that I wanted to make her look nice, but keep things pretty low key for the most part. Short hair is a must for a professional soldier and the makeup, I tried to keep subtle but just enough to make it clear that she cared enough to take the extra few minutes.
I mean, she does work in a palace, basically.
Facial structure is I guess in part the result of my perpetual disagreem
I'm trying to wait until I have a new PC to actually start screenshoting this story so I'm going to begin with the character bios. I welcome any suggestions you may have.

I was inspired by the recent release of the new KS Hairdos to jump into RaceMenu and create a new character. I don't need to sell this hair mod because we're already seeing so many great pictures but... man, there are some great new hairs to choose from and they are very inspiring. So thank you to the mod authors for your work and keeping the torch lit for creativity.
