I had the creation kit going last night...

... for the first time in what seems like ages. I finally felt myself inspired to actually do modding.

Of course, first I had to update Mod Organizer, fail to get papyrus working with Mod Organizer, fail to get CBBE working with Mod Organizer, watch Mod Organizer crash whenever I added or removed a package and finally uninstall Mod Organizer, delete and reinstall Skyrim and set up the whole development environment again using Wrye Bash. (I seem to be annoyed about Mod Organizer - I hadn't realised how much until I started writing this).

Anyway, I did get a couple of hours in last night creating a handful of NPCs and some dialogue and reminding myself why SEQ files are so very important. If things go well, I might have something to show for it in a week or three.

If it comes off it's going to be simple, work with other mods and have a healthy helping of my usual twisted sense of humour.

Working title is "Pretty, Vacant".

Yeah, I once dabbled with Mod Organizer and didn't really stick with it for long at all.  I know it's useful and a lot of people like it, but it's not for everyone.

New stuff sounds interesting.  Look forward to seeing what you've got cooked up.  Good luck!

Are you working on a quest or maybe dungeons?  Skyrim is pretty dull these days.

It's a sort of quest/follower mod, but with a bit of a twist. It won't have earth shaking ramifications for the whole of Tamriel, but it might keep the player busy for a while :)

I'll update the main post with a bit more info later on tonight.

I was kinda hoping for maybe a dungeon crawl, but I know those things take forever for one person to make and 30 minutes to play through.  It's too much for one person to do.

Yeah. I like doing dungeons, but I know what you mean.

I also find it difficult to think of LL relevant dungeon crawls. At least without saying "sod immersion" and just throwing stuff in there. A slave training complex would work well enough ... but even then, there's a limit to how much you an throw in before it starts getting repetitive

It used to be really good, but I think these days the author is struggling with the complexity of his own creation.

Thank you! :)
