If you installed DD NG, please move questions like this to that page. 


But looking at that log, try disabling OSL aroused. Or see if it has an update yet.

For Future reference so you can distinguish them easyly

Sykyrim Legendary Edition (Skyrim LE or SLE or Oldrim) Is the original release of Skyrim and a its own game. In Steam (Although not available for purchase anymore) this is just Skyrim.

 

Skyrim Special Edition (Skyrim SE or SSE) Goes from the re-release of Skyrim in 2016 up to the patch line 1.6 (not included) In Steam this would be Skyrim: Special Edition

 

Skyrim Anniversary Edition (Skyrim AE) Is the same game as Skyrim SE but patch 1.6 onwards.

 

This specially confusing because since they are the same game and a lot of mods are compatible betwen SE and AE most people just kept calling Skyrim AE, Skyrim SE and the mods that needed it added AE compatibility. This got even more confusing when Bethesda decided to keep updating they 15 year old game wich created even more compatibility issues between AE patches, So right now, if you havent downgraded or blocked Steam updates on Skyrim SE you need your dll dependent mods to be for Skyrim AE (Patch 1.6.659) EDIT: This is ment to say (AE 1.6.1130)

Yes, but the changes from this mod are so small, it's hard to tell anyway. Some morphs in CBBE SE/3BA are backwards or otherwise changed from the CBBE LE morphs. As I recall, these were just to prevent clipping with HDT PE bodies when wearing some devices. Bodyslide fixes most of that. Just leave them disabled.

Are you mixing with DCL morphs? There should be no issues with bodyscaling with generic DD.

(Assuming subject is scaling DD when other content mods change morphs.)

I haven't changed either one in scripts, so i would assume the same problem exists in both. But still, its not something I've ever had need of in SE. I keep them off and have no issues with clipping. And that's all those are there for.

There's a problem with HideBreasts function in DD's libs when it comes to 3BA, because the function is scaling to 0.1 only two bones:

 

        SetNodeHidden(akActor, gender, "NPC L Breast", true)
        SetNodeHidden(akActor, gender, "NPC R Breast", true)

 

and 3ba has 3 additional bones per each, not covered by this function - L Breast01, 02, 03 and same goes for R (hence the name 3 Breast Bone Body ?).

 

I was so sure it was me who somehow spectacularly screwed up Bodyslide, right until @naaitsab found out the root cause. ?

 

Think it will be fixed in the upcoming NG update.

Not sure what's causing my issue. I'm CTDing every time I try to start a new game. Found it's doing so when I have Devious Devices installed. I'm currently using it and Devious Devices NG to play at the latest version of AE 1.6. 1130.0. I'm also loading my animations into FNIS, disabling the FNIS plugin and then using nemesis for the older animations on FNIS. I additionally am using OAR rn. I have my crash report from Trainwreck available too.  Which I will post below.

If anyone is willing to help/look, I appreciate it.

Small correction from my post. The latest AE patch is 1.6.1130 not 1.6.659.

 

Id say you can update. Almost every single important mod has already been patched for the new patch (AE 1.6.1130) So you should be safe to update and starting building your mod list in the new version.

 

If you are upgrading from LE thats another story since LE mods are incompatible with SE or AE so youll have to see wich mods are exclusive to each side and make a choice of your own.

I'm running 1.6.1130 already - bought SSE of Steam on Saturday. They offer me an "AE upgrade" for 20€, I wonder what that actually does, haha.

There's a few mods still causing crashes while used with other mods. OSL Aroused is one, and if you use ConsoleUtils, use the NG version for now. It was just updated. If you don't have either of those mods, disable DLLs and start with only DD and its requirements. Then add on your other DLLs until you find the problem.

 

Your crash log doesn't exist in pastebin anymore.

Gets you the rest of the original creation club content, nothing else. Although I was under the impression that you couldn't by the original SE version without all the CC content except the 4 free ones. After AE released that was the only one for sale.

Not using OSL Aroused from what I can tell. Looks like I'm using SexLabArousedSSE. I do have ConsoleUtilSSE, and as for NG I am currently on v0.2.9.7. I'll go see if I'm not current now.

Thanks to all

I have fix the problem. I change the Browser to Firefox and use a public dns for ipv4 and ipv6 and now it runs without any Problems.

Huh. They offered SE and AE separately, as well as an "AE upgrade". I bought the pure SE as it was cheaper... and got the newest version without that creationclub-BS. Excellent. Hah, they want 10€ for the upgrade!

so has this mod been updated yet? when i try to run skse i get a notif that this mods ddlls are not current and incompatible. I see people talking as if the mods been updated but the download link still says its version 5.2.7 which is the version i had installed. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm terribly unclear about this as well. I also see people talking about config utils as though that's the problem, but straight up removing it doesn't fix things for me.

 

Any help would be appreciated!

Pick anything you want in the installer if you're on 1.6.1130. It doesn't matter because you're removing or replacing the DLL. Replacement DLLs are available on the troubleshooting post and have been for months. Those DLLs are compatible with ALL versions.

Hi everyone

I have Skyrim SE upgradad to AE

 

I have several mods installed, all of them towards installind Devious Devices (5.2, NG)

The moment I activate DD, Skyrim CTD when I try to start a new game (or load a savegame); if I disable, everything works fine (or at least, it appears to)

 

I know to give any help you need a log; so my first question is; what tool do I have to install to create such a log, and where do i get it?

Thanks for taking the time to respond. I know you're going to feel like this is a stupid question, but given the general confusion so many others are having, I feel like there's probably some sort of a vocabulary barrier going on in this conversation.

Hey so im at a dead end in trouble shooting why some of my devious devices items are invisible but others aren't, heres what i know so far

 

1. everything is installed and running correctly, mods are recognized and animations are building correctly

2. Outfits are for sure built, but in the preview window for bodyslide it shows all the restraints as having no textures? 

3. reinstalled with a fresh download and still in the same position

 

So idk what im missing, could be right in front of me for all i know at this point
