I'm assuming you fixed the other paths in MO2 or you wouldn't be able to launch skyrim at all from MO2.

 

How to check/fix the bodyslide settings in bodyslide are on the troubleshooting post.

 

 

 

I really have to check it all again, but I just did an install of BodySlide as instructed. I suppose my moving Skyrim out on its own on the C drive is what busted the paths. I see weird things in the character editor, when visiting the crazy tailor in the Riften thieves guild. A lot of body sliders have two versions of the same one, and they tend not to work.

That's another big issue for me...I am running Nemesis.

 

Well...not really running it- Every time I try to update it, it crashes.
 

 

I'm running Nemesis and FNIS they both work together but there's a specific way you have to set it up. 
If it's crashing when you try to update validate the files, otherwise it might be because you moved skyrim itself and steam doesnt have a path to it to update.

Nemesis likes to be finiky since the mod author went MIA. Close Mod Organizer and rerun it if it still doesnt work allow it through your firewall.

Yeah, probably. I don't edit the UNP meshes since they work for BHUNP just fine. There's no shape difference like there is with LE CBBE and SE CBBE/3BA.

Still, the offset should work, HH_OFFSET is a convenience, not a requirement.

If you've moved the game then you must check all the paths in mo2. both the executables you already had configured and the mo2's own paths.

 

make sure the game is working through steam before you try to mod it. If you have to, delete the game and reinstall it properly, to the new path. simply moving files doesn't update steam's registry settings. if you moved through steam, then that part is probably fine.

 

if you've got duplicates, then you're going to have to look at what you've installed and see where they're coming from.

for DD, make sure you only have DD 5.2 installed, and do not have DDa, DDi, DDx, DDc, DD for Him, or DD BRRF installed separately. Those are all old versions of the mod and will cause duplicates and break DD.

Do I really need HDT-SMP or FSMP - Faster HDT-SMP?  I'm running 1.5.97 of Skyrim.  I'm afraid that there are so many bugs with both of these mods, that I will cause myself needless trouble.  I have CBPC - Physics with Collisions.  Isn't that enough?

No. CBPC does not have 'cloth' physics and is not a replacement.

 

Faster SMP has been better than HDT SMP for a while now, not buggy at all. The problem is that the DD chains don't work well with SMP instead of HDT PE from LE and don't connect perfectly. It's much better than it used to be, but still not perfect. Fwiw, you absolutely can keep using CBPC for your body and just use SMP for the chains and any other SMP  outfits you have. Both can be used at the same time, you don't need to replace CBPC.

 

But if you don't want it, build the no HDT versions of chains or some of them will make you CDT. The ones without an alternate mesh will just be stiff and not connected worse than normal, and things like the pony tail plugs will be on the ground instead of in your ass or vagina like they should be. I don't want to hear things are broken if you don't install the requirements. :P

Hi this is great! I'm running into a slight issue with the smp handcuffs where the chains go haywire and the individual links turn into a sort of whirlwind leading me to get a big fps drop. Does anyone know a fix for this? I have faster HDT-SMP installed and use MO2.

Hello, I have a problem with DD installation. Once I tried to install this mod, but my physics was not working properly, so I uninstalled it. Now I got physics working, so I wanted to go back and install DD, but I have a message ingame:

When I click "OK" this error comes again after 1-2 minutes.

Any solution to fix this problem?

No fix for this. If it's a problem, you can either edit the NIF to remove the smp xml path, or delete the chains.

 

I didn't see an issue in DD 5.2, I thought i got the whirlwind under control there. but i also wasn't able to test for more than a few minutes.

If you still have it lying around, you could also try the older version of the XML from the early betas or DD 5.1 - some others reported this worked for them although I don't recommend it.

 

For the error, your install is broken some how. Try reinstalling and make sure no patches are overwriting DD. Try on a new game. Make sure your plugin order is correct:

 

DDa

DDi

DDx

DDc

DD for Him

DD BRRF

DD SE patch

even in 2023 still one of the best mods on loverslab! after 2 years break from skyrim the fever has infected me again. manual installation works fine by the way. thank you for the many years of support!

CBPC is sufficient. i also only installed this mod nothing else. so neither HDT-SMP or Faster HDT-SMP.

 

sorry, I guess I wasn't quite on the ball there.

CBPC does NOT work for the physics chains and plugs. Those are SMP only, and as I said, they will either be stiff or on the ground if SMP is not installed. That said, those are the only things that break without SMP, it is perfectly playable otherwise assuming you build the no HDT versions of the chains known to cause CTDs without SMP.

ok, you are right of course. you need all the necessary mods to run CBBE 3BA (3BBB) and CBPC, in my case.

the vignal clit sole gem piercing does nots how up when equipped even though i build it with *bodysliders*.
and when i equip it and lock it i can still unequip it without any piercing removal tool. 
another thing is that there was no default spot in DD MCM devices underneath.
nipple piercings has default BODY slot but viganal clit piercing doesn't so i assigned a spot at Vignale piercing slot 50

It isn't body related. You could install and build a no physics version of CBBE and run into the same problem or not depending on if you have CBPC (or no physics mod) or SMP installed, even if the body is not using physics. The chains and plugs physics are handled separately from body physics, and they don't care or depend on what you use for your body or what physics the body uses.

 

Which is why you can use CBPC for the body and everything except those specific devices will work. And by chains, i'm talking about the ones like prisoner chains and ankle chains, or the pony tail plugins. Outfits like the straitjackets or hobble skirts can and do use CBPC body physics just fine.

 

The SMP requirement is separate from the body requirement, not a part of the body requirement.

If you don't care if the chains and pony tail plugs work, then you can use CBPC only. If you want the chains and pony tail plugs to work, that is only possible with SMP at this time. Maybe one day if Shizof ever figures out how to get cloth physics into CBPC that will change. But I've been waiting more than 5 years now for him to make that happen, I doubt it will at this point. They've stopped talking about doing that feature.

Go into your body's MCM (3ba or bhunp) and change the physics slot to dd compatible. Right now your physics is using the same slot that the vaginal piercing uses, so it can't be worn.

So... I'm not sure if this is the correct place to post this question. Apologies if I got it wrong!

 

I have a rather strange problem. I'm not sure the cause of it, much less how to fix it. When I have an armbinder equipped, my idle state has my arms at my sides with invisible hands. The arms ARE in the correct position when I enter the "Struggle" animation, but then they go back. Thoughts?

 

EDIT: Found the solution. DD and FNIS Sexy Moves have compatibility issues. I stumbled on a patch that fixes it for me:

Kimy says fnis sexy move is compatible. What we've recommended in the past is toggle 360 move in fnis sexy move's mcm off and on. For NPCs, you have to change cells for the animation to be applied again after the toggle.

i want to thank you again. for your detailed explanation. when i checked my files i found an error. the hdtSMP64.dll was not loaded correctly for me. without your help i would not have noticed the error. now everything should be installed correctly. thank you.

That sounds like you've got mods fighting over facial expressions. Opening the mouth for gags makes use of these expressions. Can't help you with that, you'll need to look at your list.

 

A common troubleshooting method is divide and conquer - split your list in half, check for the issue. if it's not there, it's in the other half. keep splitting down until you find it.

 

Or you can load DD and it's requirements only and slowly add mods until you find the culprit.

Hello, I apologize if this is the wrong thread to ask this question in but I was wondering if it was possible to make all devices to be rope devices instead of the materials? I find the rope and chains to be the most immersive while the other devices are a little immersion breaking. 

 

Is there any way to have a set up that only uses ropes as the possible devices?

Is there an install guide available for DD? I see a lot of things around on mods like Cursed Loot or Prison Overall Plus which talks about "Assets" and "Expansion" and "Equip". Are those files included in 5.2? Are the extra? I've been trying to get things working but I want to make sure I know exactly what files I need and what order they should be in.
