Your screenshots weren't attached properly, so I don't know which chains or how it looks.

Regardless.. this is mostly expected. While they've been improved to be close in 5.2, most chains don't work like they did in LE. If i bothers you too much, build the No HDT version of the chains.

The one exception are the ankle chains. Save, exit the game entirely, then relaunch the game and those will start working until you remove and reequip them.

I have tried absolutely EVERYTHING. THIS MOD WILL NOT WORK! I have read countless guides for days, nothing is fixing it. I have never had so much trouble with just one mod.

Stat effects and animations are working, but only about 1/4 of the Devious Devices are actually visible.
(confirmed working: Armbinders, Clit Peircing, Gags, Collars, Plugs)
(confirmed not working: Nipple Peircing, Body Suits, Harnesses, Gloves, Leg Straps, Boots, Heels) (just about anything that equips to torso, tits, or legs)

I've built the entire list in Bodyslide multiple times. I really feel like Bodyslide is not the issue here but maybe I'm wrong...
Tried writing it to game folder, didn't fix.
Tried saving it to external folder and then moving it into the meshes folder, didn't fix.
Created multiple new existing saves, same results every time. (its not because I'm a Breton is it?? lol)

NOTES:
I am playing most recent version of Skyrim SE/AE.

I am using Vortex with: Most recent version of SKSE, BS, FNIS, and TexGen/Dyndolod.
I have quite a lot of mods installed (200+) but I don't really see this being the cause of the issues. (correct me if I am wrong)
I am using Lazy Heels as opposed to traditional Heels mods, but Heels are not the only thing giving me the issue and the animations and sounds for heels are fine.
I am not using a MO.

To my understanding for Bodyslide:
1. I select these as groups: DD Framework 3BA, DD Framework CBBE SE (only ones listed that are relevant, am I missing any??)
2. Select Preset Body Type (currently using "Velma" from Nexus SE)
3. CTRL+Click Batch Build (Build Morphs Checked)
4. Tried Selecting All, and have tried leaving unnecessary ones unchecked. Both yielded same results.
5. Build
6. Double Check to make sure everything is on 3BA that needs to be. Everything was by default.
7. Wait, finish, close BS
8. Deploy and Update FNIS

Also wasn't experiencing any freezes or CTDs until I started using this mod, now it's almost guaranteed if there are any Devious Devices in my inventory after a few minutes.

Would LOVE to get this mod functioning but I've almost lost all hope. If anyone has any idea what I am doing wrong please help... ❤️

I can post pics of my Mod List but like I said, I really don't think there is any sort of incompatibilities going on, it just seems like the mod is missing its own files or something...

Devices invisible is absolutely a bodyslide problem. The mod ships without prebuilt meshes to keep the download size down, so if an outfit is invisible, it means bodyslide did not put the output file in the right place.

All you need is DD Framework 3BA, but selecting both isn't really a problem. You'll just have to pick the 3BA versions when there's a conflict.

Since you are having a problem, don't do the batch build.
Pick one outfit that you are wearing in game that is invisible.

Build that one outfit.

Look at the path in the pop up - where is it going? Post the screenshot of that here if you don't see an issue.

A common problem is the output will go to /data/data or somewhere completely different.

Once you have the one outfit working, then you can go back and do a batch build as you were before.

FNIS only needs to be run if you're adding or removing animations. It does not need to be rerun if all you're doing is rerunning bodyslides to get them working.

If you're getting freezing/crashing then you may have hit your PC's limit on the number animations or script heavy mods it can handle. Lots of large new lands mods can also impact performance. That is not the DD's fault.  See how it work on a new game with just DD and it's requirements if you want a DD run. Then add your other mods slowly until your performance drops below what you want to accept. Decide what you can and can't live without.

Lately I've seen a lot of people posting file paths that include a "Steam Library" file that I've never seen before. My Steam installations doesn't have that anywhere. All I can figure is that they've installed Steam in Program Files. The proper path should be; Steam>Steamapps>Common> Skyrim/ Skyrim Special Edition

Hmmm, this is where my game is located, not sure I can change that.

Did you create that folder and direct Steam to install itself there? I put Steam on a separate SSD drive from Windows, and it created the file path as I had listed, that's why I'm asking. It doesn't really matter what the file name is, as long as the apps are directed to the correct file paths. I'm just curious about that "SteamLibrary" folder that I keep seeing.

I have steam on my E drive and it's file path is also steamlibrary. I also manually moved steam from my HDD (D drive) to my SSD (E drive) a few years ago and it works fine for me. I am using MO though but they are using Vortex so that shouldn't be an issue. I posted my path on another page.

I see I see, no Steam automatically created that folder when installed. My old version of windows it indeed was "Steam" not "Steam Library"
I believe more recent installs of Steam do this.

Still no luck :(

This is the path it is writing to:

go into bodyslide config and correct the path.

meshes needs to be under data, not the skyrim special edition folder. You're up one level too high

D:\SteamLibrary\steampapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\meshes  ->

D:\SteamLibrary\steampapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\data\meshes

Almost. Now you have two meshes, and that won't work either

If you have \meshes in your bodyslide path, remove that too. The path in bodyslide config should be this:

D:\SteamLibrary\steampapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\data\

Sorry about the confusion, i was trying to demonstrate how the folder structure should be

Well this certainly explains why my previous attempts to use Bodyslide outfits were also failures lol

I am officially seeing Soul Gem Nips.

THANK YOU FOR THE HELP!! Seriously! Thank you so much.

That is an offset. It's one that racemenu should be using and should be there.

Although I thought I replaced all of those...

What version are you using? If not 5.2, upgrade to that.

using 5.2. but i also use BHUNP conversions, maybe this is why HH_OFFSET was missing...

For me the actual Bodyslide setting itself is E:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\data\
Its MO 2 path is:
Binary: E:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\Mod Organizer 2\mods\BodySlide and Outfit Studio\CalienteTools\BodySlide\BodySlide.exe
Start In: E:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\Mod Organizer 2\mods\BodySlide and Outfit Studio\CalienteTools\BodySlide

I'll check all this out, but I moved Skyrim out on the C drive on its own, after following a very precise video tutorial about doing it. It works out there, and so does most mods I use, except the animations, which do seem to be pointed somewhere else. I moved the game because a lot of things work in it now, that didn't work in program files.

Don't use the 64 version of bodyslide.

Why? What should I be using? Is there another version?

Mod animations, make sure you fun FNIS and/or Nemesis.
Sexlab issues you'll have better help asking on sexlab itself.
Make sure all of these mods are also SE and work with your version of SE.

That's another big issue for me...I am running Nemesis.

Well...not really running it- Every time I try to update it, it crashes.
