I am slowly getting things working again after a long break, and i find it hard to believe that after such a long time, there doesn't seem to be much of a progress regarding DD.
Don't take me wrong, i am not complaining ? i just want to make sure i didn't miss anything.

So, the current version of DD is still 5.2 ?

And DCL is still 9.0 ?
There isn't anything newer?

Tell me please. Is it possible to make standard sex animations work when the locks were manipulated (that is, the devices were automatically removed and dressed)

 

I know that some mods allow you to remove device data before sex (but it only works under certain conditions). And I would like sexlab to always automatically remove and put on devices that are not locked with a key (lock manipulation)

My PC is not that old and has a good CPU & GPU, once the arms pop out they seem to stay out on the NPC / Follower.  On the player, if they pop out they pop back in after a couple of seconds as DD reapplies the animation as you say.  It just seems to be the NPC's that are the issue.

 

Not sure I mentioned it before but I am using the Skyrim AE 1.6.640 version

It's now out of beta, but yeah, it's still 5.2. it came out of beta in the middle of Feb.

The DCL beta hasn't started yet. Not sure if kimy's taking a break or the update isn't far enough along yet.

 

the only new thing that's making buzz that i know of is sexlab p+. Scrab is rewriting sexlab almost from the ground up. a rewrite of slal is planned to be integrated into sexlab p+  and some version of slso eventually. p+ is extremely fast, but there are still bugs to work out. it's functional enough to use though.

Nothing that does that as far as i know. Best you can do is uncheck the animation options in DD's mcm, but that does not distinguish between manipulated and locked. So the locked devices can be visually removed for the scene too.

restrictive boots and catsuit ballet boots are low (clipping underground). what i am doing wrong?

Should work if your racemenu is working properly. Check if skee is loading in your skse64.log. Or try installing racemenu high heels.

Trying to get some advice here on this issue. I've got my character seemingly in restraints...cannot use weapons like this, but I'm not sure where I need to disable this condition. Thanks to any in advance for some useful information. The characters doesn't actually show visible wrist restraints.

You need to get out of the restraints and if they aren't visible they might be bugged or you didn't run bodyslide. It's intentional that you can't use weapons with some devices.  Check your inventory to see if any devices are equipped.

 

if there are none, your best and simplest fix will be to go back to an older save where the issue isn't present.

You can remove it via the cli, but it's difficult and can make it worse later on. You would need to put everything you have into a safe storage, list out your inventory, and remove the device - it's usually comprised of two items but in a bugged state only one might be there. they don't all have names either, so that doesn't help too. device hider will be one such item and it cannot be removed, but i don't recall the code so you could skip it to move on to trying to find the right item.

That is an offset. It's one that racemenu should be using and should be there.

Although I thought I replaced all of those...

 

What version are you using? If not 5.2, upgrade to that.

Yes and no. Depends on what kind of morph you're asking about.

 

Pregnancy morphs or big belly morphs are handled by racemenu and the bodyslides included with the mod will morph the devices to fit the belly assuming you've run bodyslide correctly.

 

The belly morphs option in the MCM are partial. The functionality is there, but morph names have changed or the morph directions are reversed in SE from LE, so they don't consistently work. However, these morphs were always very slight and meant to compensate for HDT clipping. It's not needed if you've done bodyslide correctly.

My suspicion is that once I get my animations to work, a lot of this will fall into place. This has been the problem that's been plaguing me for a long time.

That sounds like whatever Mod organizer you use (MO, Vortex, etc.) is in the wrong path for where your skyrim is installed. Make sure it's connecting to the correct path and bodyslide is in the data folder of your skyrim. 

For me the actual Bodyslide setting itself is E:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\data\
Its MO 2 path is:
Binary: E:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\Mod Organizer 2\mods\BodySlide and Outfit Studio\CalienteTools\BodySlide\BodySlide.exe
Start In: E:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\Mod Organizer 2\mods\BodySlide and Outfit Studio\CalienteTools\BodySlide

Don't use the 64 version of bodyslide. 

Mod animations, make sure you fun FNIS and/or Nemesis. 
Sexlab issues you'll have better help asking on sexlab itself. 
Make sure all of these mods are also SE and work with your version of SE.

You might need to fix the executable in MO2 to point the right path if you moved your skyrim install out of users (how did you get it there in the first place??? definitely should not be there or in program files). And you may need to adjust the path in bodyslide to point to your game data folder.

 

it might look different, but it should be in the same place.

I'm assuming you fixed the other paths in MO2 or you wouldn't be able to launch skyrim at all from MO2.

I have problem with mesh(probably) i test different settings with bodyslide i reinstall the mod 2times idk what to do to fix that (normaly i wear ebonite catsuit pink)

You aren't running bodyslide properly. Check the output path to make sure it's going to the right place.

Look at the troubleshooting post for how to check the settings in bodyslide.

I try it and nothing change and i have other mods with bodyslide and for them it work fine, and the Game data pathis steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\Data\ so that ok and outpath is empty

The mod does not ship with pre-built meshes for a lot of outfits to save space. So if they're invisible as in your picture, the only answer is you are not running bodyslide correctly or have some configuration issue with it. Build the ebonite black catsuit all on it's own (pink catsuit is a texture swap of this item) - when you build a single mesh it outputs the file to a pop up.

 

Check that against your skse path in mo2. The meshes bodyslide uses have to be present when building bodyslides, or you would have an error then. For MO2, the files don't go to that path, they would be in your overwrite or bodyslide output folder, and starting with the meshes output (steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\Data is a virtual path in MO2, files won't really go here if MO2 is working correctly). If you're using vortex, make sure you are redeploying after building the outfit. You might have to restart vortex and purge and redeploy.

 

For all I know, you're doing this for a wabbajack list, and while that is the correct steam path, it wouldn't be the right path for a list.

Also make sure the output isn't going into MO2's overwrite folder - some people have had issues with the output being in that folder although it was never a problem for me.

 

If it is an item without a bodyslide that is invisible, that would make it an install issue. In that case reinstall, and make sure your antivirus is not eating random files. You may need to disable it for the install.

i have problems with the chains [ Iron fetters ] 
they make sondes, move and have physics but they are not connected to each other. 
i am crouching to show it in the photo but they dont connect even when i am standing

I have tried absolutely EVERYTHING. THIS MOD WILL NOT WORK! I have read countless guides for days, nothing is fixing it. I have never had so much trouble with just one mod.

Stat effects and animations are working, but only about 1/4 of the Devious Devices are actually visible.
(confirmed working: Armbinders, Clit Peircing, Gags, Collars, Plugs)
(confirmed not working: Nipple Peircing, Body Suits, Harnesses, Gloves, Leg Straps, Boots, Heels) (just about anything that equips to torso, tits, or legs)

 

Assets seem to be completely non functional.

Integrations, some work, most don't.
Expansions, same as Integrations.


I've built the entire list in Bodyslide multiple times. I really feel like Bodyslide is not the issue here but maybe I'm wrong...
Tried writing it to game folder, didn't fix.
Tried saving it to external folder and then moving it into the meshes folder, didn't fix.
Created multiple new existing saves, same results every time. (its not because I'm a Breton is it?? lol)

NOTES:
I am playing most recent version of Skyrim SE/AE.

I am using Vortex with: Most recent version of SKSE, BS, FNIS, and TexGen/Dyndolod.
I have quite a lot of mods installed (200+) but I don't really see this being the cause of the issues. (correct me if I am wrong)
I am using Lazy Heels as opposed to traditional Heels mods, but Heels are not the only thing giving me the issue and the animations and sounds for heels are fine.
I am not using a MO.

To my understanding for Bodyslide:
1. I select these as groups: DD Framework 3BA, DD Framework CBBE SE (only ones listed that are relevant, am I missing any??)
2. Select Preset Body Type (currently using "Velma" from Nexus SE)
3. CTRL+Click Batch Build (Build Morphs Checked)
4. Tried Selecting All, and have tried leaving unnecessary ones unchecked. Both yielded same results.
5. Build
6. Double Check to make sure everything is on 3BA that needs to be. Everything was by default.
7. Wait, finish, close BS
8. Deploy and Update FNIS 

Also wasn't experiencing any freezes or CTDs until I started using this mod, now it's almost guaranteed if there are any Devious Devices in my inventory after a few minutes.

Would LOVE to get this mod functioning but I've almost lost all hope. If anyone has any idea what I am doing wrong please help... ❤️

I can post pics of my Mod List but like I said, I really don't think there is any sort of incompatibilities going on, it just seems like the mod is missing its own files or something...
