Skyrim SE

I'm experiencing a slight problem that I did not had before in previous modlist (physics used to work well).
Basically the Chain is static of Collars/other items(?).

I tested all the Iron Chain collars since those are most commonly equipped through other mods (SLS).

Edit: Not sure, but DD 5.1 & BHUNP Version 3 DD SE Bodyslide contains the file: DDHotFix bodyslide. Might be the cause of the problem?
Edit2: Yes it was the problem! Chains works now, just gotta remember to avoid building the HDT chain files in BodySlide whenever I use it.

Or you use LE version of mod. And there devious devices.dll not work, or you use AE version and in this dll too not work. For AE version need download DD 5.2 beta version from that thread:

in section: Playing the DD Beta prior to official release.

I figured out my problem. I had 4.3 DD integration and extension downloaded as well. I did not realize they were included in 5.1. Removed those and mine loaded fine

If I remember correctly, the topic of Skyrim VR was raised several times with the hint that the SE version of it is simply garbage
and
the mod creators will not deal with the problem - which was not caused by you - to solve

for some reason when i try to equip armbinders they look like they are on yet i can still use weapons and such and DD acts like it isnt there, ive tried re-installing and useing fnis but neither has worked it started shortly after i installed tullius hair pack, can that be the problem by chance?

Here's an interesting visual glitch where a transparent silhouette of the player's hands are visible while the player is wearing a straitjacket.

I remember having this problem before, but I was unsuccessful in using Google or this site's search function to find this problem. That said, I did have a similar problem where there was a seriously distorted transparent silhouette of the character overlayed with my character, and it was super distracting. I believe the solution had something to do with a skeleton file, but I don't remember exactly what that entails, nor do I know if that would even fix this current issue.

I did the same thing recently. I didn’t realize that the 5.1 version included the expansion. It told me some thing similar. I would check and make sure you don’t have any 4.3 files downloaded! That was my fix

That's because LE version uses different forms. But Skyrim SE works with those forms good, even worse convert LE forms to SE can damage mod. All other things is converted to SE and works good.

Problem can be in using Nemesis or installed some FNIs animations mods what replaces DD anims.

Maybe problem is that you have some tattoo mods and this layer is tattoo layer? Or some ENB settings play bad joke with you? Straitjackets use arms slot and Skyrim engine must hide original arms - if those not modified by other mod.

So with the 5.1.7se version (on AE) the leg cuffs+attachedchain is never textured.  Reinstalled it several times, and did other things but it just won't build properly in bodlslide erroring out saying the nif or something is missing.

They've been removed, still tells me the same thing

How can I convert it to SE if I already have it?

You need to enter CK and convert all forms from 43 to 44, but this not easy and can broke all.

UPD: I repeat second time - i play with this warning more 1 year and all works good as good it can be. Form 43 works fine with Skyrim Se, but convert to Form 44 is complicated and can break mod completely.

I'm not using any tatoo mods, so that wouldn't be it, and I don't believe it's a problem with the ENB, since dabbling with it and turning it off had no effect.

but I have found a temporary solution that fixes the problem for the time being.

Looks like Race Menu's to blame, and I also learned the trigger. If you equip the straitjacket, the ghost hands appear, and they will remain if you load up another save with the straitjacket equipped. However, if you've just booted up the game or are running a save where you don't have the straitjacket equipped, and you load a save where the straitjacket is equipped, the ghost hands won't appear. If at any point your character is not wearing the straitjacket, be it removing the jacket or loading a save, the ghost hands aren't visible, and loading a save with the straitjacket equipped will not cause the ghost hands to reappear.

 

It's also to be noted that from what I can tell, the ghost hands don't appear at all in interior spaces, but they will still appear if you enter an exterior cell where they otherwise would have been visible. I'd imagine the solution will be to figure out what part of Race Menu is causing the ghost hands, and change it.

Is it intended that (black, white, etc.) "Rope Arm Cuffs" do not force any bound animation by themselves?

For example:

And second question about Hobble Dress (not extreme):
Wasn't it supposed to restrict the movement at least a little bit? force smaller strides than normal walking? (not as short as the "Extreme" version, only a bit).

Also, shouldn't it have the "fake" 360 animations, where the player turns to face the camera when moving backwards? (as is the case with the "Extreme" version).

Remember that the glitch is triggered when you equip the straitjacket.

Which version of Racemenu do you use? I've been running the AE version and recently got the latest beta release to try. the problem persists. It may have something to do with AE breaking the mod, and it still isn't fully fixed. 

 

I don't have many mods enabled for testing purposes, since I wanted to isolate the problem. Here's a list of them, if that helps:

I use RaceMenu Special Edition v0-4-16-19080-0-4-16-1601805673 - probably it's 4.16 and latest for SE version.

I never ever plan update my Skyrim SE to AE version, unless it forces DD and DCL to do it.

So it's probably Racemenu and new AE bug.

The rope cuffs are purely decorative and will not restrain you. as for the hobble dress, the animations aren't replaced. This may be intentional, since the slow down effect is less extreme than with Hobble dress (extreme).

Found a problem; I can't unequip many DD even if I have the key/manipulated lock (I'm using 5.2 Beta 4, and later 5.1)

 

For a lot of items (collars, harness, etc) I can put them on but if I try to remove them the game treat it as if I never equipped them in the first place. That is, the game only give "Put On" or "Carry On" option.

Does anyone know what the flags are on the DD piercing items that I would need to copy over to other items for them to behave the same as DD piercings, and to be detected by YPS Immersive Fashion? Is it just the keywords?

Hello, for some odd reason some pieces are unremovable , as linked in here (Dont mind the Katia Prequel mod) , unsure why it happens but its annoying , i tried every option,smiths , Khajiits with devious lore and none of them can take it off,tho Khajiits dont mention anything about a failed attempt,someone knows how to remove it / fix it?

You can read it while looking at the devious assets in xEdit.  You will be able to learn to mimic the construction by copying.  I recommend you use non-slot32 assets unless is a suit. TAWOBA Remastered or TAWOBA Extended bikini assets are using similar slot assignment and can be used for practice.   You need to learn about the split functionality of rendered/inventory assets and the layout of the effect, script, keywords.

 

I used some TAWOBA extended tops/bottoms to built cursed chastity bra/belts in a personal mod, a leveled list distribute and mix it with normal bikinis in chests.
