It seems it's Toys refuse to be broken by mods that force strip the player. Those exact mods will break Devious Devices, the devices may still be equipped in inventory but will no longer show on player or function at all, but Toys will just re-equip themselves almost immediately and continue to function like nothing happened. I have no idea how it does this, but I thought maybe it was worth mentioning in case DD could employ something similar to prevent mods from not only removing them when they shouldn't but also to stop them from being broken. I know, compatibility with DD is up to the mod creator, but it could make DD more robust and expand the mods that will work with DD. Also would simplify compatibility with stripping mods as being forced off no longer matters. Your stuck in your chastity belt whether you like it or not! IE. Sky UI does this as one of its options, Favorite Groups "unequip armor" and "unequip hands" for selected group. Breaks most Devices equipped completely, but not Toys. Just to be clear, not saying Toys is better, just different. I love DD and always will. I don't think I have ever played skyrim without DD installed. If I could afford to buy myself a coffee, I would definitely buy you all several and go without myself. Â I hope I am not repeating something that has already been talked about. Really sorry if I have.. Also this may not be possible as it might not just mean a script change but having to handle things a completely different way breaking every other mod that relies on DD. Personally, I'd rather keep it this way if that was the case.
Denizen Is Disturbed Posted May 2, 2022 Posted May 2, 2022 @safado Thanks for the link, I've been searching for a pre-AE version.  @Elsidia the changes were some bugs that would affect gameplay at a core level (which idk what they are as I haven't looked/seen anything about it myself), just a few things that USSEP fixed that now don't need said fixes (?? I think? I'm not making sense at this time its 4 AM for me lol). Also if you are using a rollback version of Skyrim and you use a mod that covers only a portion of fixes, I'd imagine something bad could happen down the line. Never tried that myself though, so I am only guessing at this point. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I just want to mod safely as well.  This place I feel was much more helpful than any forum I've been so far, so I appreciate all your beautiful faces, and thank you all for taking time to help others!

johnmftj Posted May 2, 2022 Posted May 2, 2022 hello guys i have a weird problem everytime i use sex animation with the player equipped with devices like armbinder or belt or cuff or etc... the animations filter changes to solo ! ... so you and your sex partner just sitting there and masturbate! it's weird i disables animation filter both in dd and zaz still not working... it's unequip the devices but still they masturbate and after that they wear the devices again... IS THERE A WAY TO FIX THAT??? PLS HELP THANK YOU
slave4life97 Posted May 2, 2022 Posted May 2, 2022 (edited) Hi all, dumb question, as I'm sure someone else has asked before, but every time I try to load Skyrim SE through vortex, it says, "the LE plugin can not be used with SE" I'm using the SE/VR 5.1.7 file, so I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. I hope i never press that button even as accident too. Yeah I told myself that when mods update I'd just rollback with the tool, I have auto update off too. I found it easier (since I have all the CC content so far) to just update to latest, rollback and use SE version with working AE CC content (which btw I checked and nothing is affected by it, probably due to the engine staying the same idk). I also worry that I will accidentally use the normal Skyrim exe and ruin everything lol, I just removed the Skyrim SE node in MO2 and left the launcher, that way I can still use my modded SKSE version without worry. I wish I knew how to properly backup and save things but I just dunno why, I think it was a hardware issue for me or something. Nonetheless, I got this mod list to work properly now, and may it run smooth forever (hopefully, it probably won't lol)!

And there devious devices.dll not work, or you use AE version and in this dll too not work. For AE version need download DD 5.2 beta version from that thread: in section: Playing the DD Beta prior to official release.

Gudulba Posted May 4, 2022 Posted May 4, 2022 (edited) I use this mod Immersive Interactions - Animated Actions, which adds (among others) animations for opening doors etc. Â Now when being bound in a yoke or otherwise tied up and opening a door, my PC's hands/arms get free for the time this animation is running. The bug where chains/tail plugs and other physics objects float motionless under the player can be fixed by using Faster HDT-SMP instead of HTD-SMP here is the nexus link for Faster SMP (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/57339?tab=description) I don't know why it worked but this solved the problem for me (and it only took me four months to figure out...) Check skse plugin loads logs in Documents\My Games\Skyrim Special Edition\SKSE file skse64 log - if there all plugins load correct. In attachment example of good load plugins. You need enable papyrus logging i think to get it. Â skse64.log

Â I thought maybe there would be a way to block other animations from triggering when being tied in a yoke or something else. But if that's not possible, then that's the way it is.
