I don't think it's intended to wear both corsets and harnesses at the same time. I get this when trying to wear a DD harness with the DD corset. In this, I put the corset on first, then tried to add the harness:

Solution: - open your naked body into outfit studio and check what partition is used in hided parts. By default there must be 32 body.

PS: I never see hidden body - invisible is only DD items if not build into bodyslide. Hidden body parts is something new for me.

 

 

I am using CBBE and I just check the partitions, albeit I don't really know what they do, and the body is set to slot 32. Appreciate the suggestion though.

Hey Folks.

 

239 pages, and my search-foo is poop.  So sorry if this has already been asked a bout 600 times ;-;

 

But... i have a question.  With DD, 'most' of the items seem to be working correctly, but quite a few are not. For instance, the Corset and leather arm gloves that go with it are invisible.  The Corset simply is invisible, the gloves make my hands vanish

 

There's a few other oddities ive seen that i cant seem to figure out.  Anyone have any experience with helping people fix these issues?

There is difficulty level what can be set in DD MCM.

Also on any restraint are default variable for chance of struggle out.

Different restraints have different value of that chance. Some devices have zero chance to struggle out.

Sometimes if you fail struggle out chance for that device is set to zero and you never will struggle out.

You can check this chance by examine device: if there is say that is impossible to struggle out then that means this chance is zero.

As example straitjackets have chance to struggle out very low, that means you need spend long time to do it.

 

There is hidden skill what increase a chance for struggle out.  With each success escape from item (not using a key) it's add 1 unit to this skill. As higher is skill as easy is escape. I call it Escape master.

Try building just the corset or harness in bodyslide. Don't do a batch build. Verify where the output is going. If you need more instructions, there's a tutorial on the troubleshooting post.

Neither glitch for me in that way, and usually it's an all or nothing issue if the bodyslides aren't built, which is why I suspect that is not a DCL or DD item.

If it isn't from another mod, try reinstalling DD and make sure you select CBBE. Also, make sure you're using the CBBE SE body and not the LE CBBE body, or one of the all in one HDT installers.

I get all that (although I haven't tried the writing thing, thanks for that), but no matter how "easy" I set things it can still take a half hour or more to struggle out of the simplest, most basic restraint.  This is incredibly boring when you are in a scenario which prevents you from running off to Riften to get the master blacksmith to help you.  Last night I was literally reading a book while waiting for a success.  This is not fun, this is boring.  At the easiest settings escape should be automatic after a number of attempts, like randomly 3 to 5.

 

I'm not even mentioning the extra, unnecessary "see what happens" click.  Or the fact that every mod adds their own dialog for asking someone to help you and you have to remember exactly which one works for an NPC, which one for a blacksmith, etc. (why do people think it's necessary to reinvent the wheel?)

 

I like the mod.  I really do.  But there is a line between fun and boring and DD way too frequently crosses it.  So does DCL.  Especially when you add in Aroused and spend half your time fondling yourself.  It is far too easy to end up in a cycle of struggle, fondle, struggle, fondle, ad infinitum.  Playing with all the settings doesn't help, there is far too much overlap which ends up in one mod compounding the difficulty of others.  There need to be sane settings that don't require me to cripple the mods to be able to enjoy myself.

 

I'm not asking anyone to change the mod.  I'm more than willing to make patches for my own use.  I'm just asking to be pointed in the right direction.  What quests or scripts handle the escape mechanism?

Hi there. I think this was asked many Times but Google search and searching on Loverslab didnt got me any solutions, so im gonna ask here. The Animations for Armbinders and Yokes are not working. When i equip any of them my Hands go invinceble and i stay in the vanila Animations. I unchecked the "override if needed" box in zaz mcm and unistalled every Mod that changes idles or movement Animations but that didnt change anything. Fnis didnt give me any errors on the DD mods. I testet the Animation in zaz and it works and when im doing this will wearing an Armbinder and unequip it, it changes the Animation back to normal so it recognizes that im wearing one. And yes i did build them in Bodyslide.

Check your device hider settings in the DD MCM. it may be hiding them?

Don't know which ones offhand, but you should be able to trace it by looking at the scripts applied to the device (_inventory i think) as a starting point.

 

If you're that frustrated though, why don't you just cheat a key or universal key in and stop struggling? Or up the chances to find keys?

Turn down the arousal settings in DCL too, so it's harder to get in that cycle.

 

Odds are though you're wearing a high security device, and those can't be struggled out of. You MUST complete the quest for them or find someone to help you. Changing the escape mechanism won't fix that, or if you change how those work too you'll neuter the mod (in that case, why have it at all?).

yes i mean bodyslide) if items not show up:

1) from another mod

2) not selected in batch build this model

3) bodyslide is running from wrong folder

4) Screw up with your mo2 bodyslide settings and file paths.

 

Item name in game what not show up to i can check it (console id or correct name what i can find with command help)

You don't need to change scripts.

This chance is included in any device

If not, it uses script default chance from zadequipscript

Just add 3 properties to your inventory device or change exist value. This is in % (from 0% - 100%)

Wiped FNIS and reinstalled DD, FNIS, then ran FNIS. Also wiped and reran bodyslide and removed DD 3BA 4.3 conversion.

As a start, take out anything that changes the idles or walk/run animations, to be sure they aren't conflicting.

Generally being bound doesn't work. (yoke armbinder etc.)

I was previously running nemesis and DAR idles, but I removed them and all their files and outputs.

Hope someone can help me out here.

Edit: I installed the patches for DCL and ZAZ but it didnt help me here. I also noticed that when i put on a Straightjacket my Arms go in the right Position but my Hands are see trought and i can still punch like normal. 

 

Edit 2: Noticed that Handcuffs and ropes also have no Idle Animations but when i try to struggle out of them the Arms go to the right position and the animation plays without problems. After the struggle Animation failed my Caracter gos back to normal standing Idle.

I have used bodyslide to handle gear.

Why are my breasts much smaller than my clothes when I wear a transparent latex skirt?

Why did my body and arms disappear when I put on latex clothes and gloves?

I can provide screenshots and modlist if necessary .

Generally speaking, an armor-cloth-outfit.nif is often a combination of a "reference" body(lets say UNP) and the outfit on top of that. Now, with boldyslide, you did the size adjustments for your outfit, but the outfit is still paired with a body at the lets say torso-slot. You normally als end up with edges at to the hands and the neck. 

 

What you still have to do is to enter "outfit studio" in Bodyslide and change the reference body used with your gear to 3bbb. Google for tutorials. 

Or you look if someone already has done that in a working way for your 3bbb body.

I use DD 5.1 SE in combination with PAHE and want to put some devices on my naughty slaves. But it just does not work. The slave does not equip whatever dd i give them to wear. 

Is there anything obvious i am missing? In the LE version i had some extra mod to equip DD.

Hi there,

 

Having an issue where HDT chains are not working correctly, they just float around near my feet.  Did some digging and found some older threads indicating it's an issue with HDT-PE not working with SE.  Is there a fix for this by chance?

I was previously running nemesis and DAR idles, but I removed them and all their files and outputs.

 

If you had nemesis before, you may need to reinstall when you switch back to FNIS. DD doesn't always play nicely with Nemesis.

If physics is getting applied, then they're working. Save, exit the game, and then loading the save again on a new launch will make the chains connect. You can play a little with the settings in the xml to try to fine tune it, but nothing I've tried yet will make the chains 'fall' and 'drag' on the ground. I do have a slightly more tuned xml that will be in the next version.

 

HDT SMP is required, CBPC will not work.

Edit: I installed the patches for DCL and ZAZ but it didnt help me here. I also noticed that when i put on a Straightjacket my Arms go in the right Position but my Hands are see trought and i can still punch like normal. 

 

Edit 2: Noticed that Handcuffs and ropes also have no Idle Animations but when i try to struggle out of them the Arms go to the right position and the animation plays without problems. After the struggle Animation failed my Caracter gos back to normal standing Idle.

 

Are you using nemesis? if so, you need to use fnis.

check the troubleshooting post for other possible issues.
