I don't know how I would survive without my internet, but you still can't replace the hands on experience of a good book.?

So far I've only assigned service NPCs and not lot NPCs (though I'm getting there). For the first couple (my maid sims) I used cheat commands (you have to assign both the trait AND the career) and it seems to work fine, since then I've been assigning them using NPCC (for mail carrier, pizza delivery, repair sims) and that seems to work fine as well. 

 

As long as you don't load into playing the household after you've assigned the NPC role the assignments are stored for sims when you save them to your library and you can just plop them into your world to have them perform their jobs. 

Thanks for the info. I noticed the sims I assigned NPC careers to lost their jobs after loading them up before, so I wasn't sure if I was missing something. I'll keep all this in mind for later.

Wow. I never realized how "adult" The Urbz was. Just straight up says that she was a stripper lol. Kind of surprising considering how family-friendly The Sims has gotten recently.

Sims logic.  Two drop-in visits by total strangers on a Tuesday evening, already pretty unusual.  And then Yuki and Lia Huata go have sex in the bath tub.

 

"Hey, Tabitha?  How do those crystal light things stay up?"

"Magic!"

"Yeah, ok..."

 

Nearly 6 game weeks, and I just now notice.  It would help, though, if the game made them do more things consistently.  She's left-handed!

I got rid of all pre-existing sims in my playthroughs (except for some story relevant ones), because I was bored interacting with the same sims over and over again.

Sweet! I used to love that game. It actually got me through some pretty shitty times. I don't think I ever went for her though. Too busy down at Central Station with Scary Mary (goth girls man!)

It's funny what flies right over your head when your young isn't it! ?I can remember the Sims 1 had some pretty edgy and hilarious stuff in it that a child would never get (I think the Hot Date expansion added cages for go go dancers!)

Truth be told, I only really know about the game from reading about some of the characters in it on the Sims wiki, never played it myself (or really any of the other Sims games).

"I can't afford to be picky."

"Come on home with me, I'll fix you something that didn't come out of the garbage."

"Thanks, I like it."

"It's like a witch's house from a storybook.  But like, a nice witch."

 

"Is your family home?"

"No... my family is just me and Honey."

"Wow... but did you pay for all this?"

"Long story.  The short version, very old sugar daddy left me everything.  What would you like to have for dinner?"

"I'm hungry enough to eat dumpster pizza.  Anything you make, will be the best thing I've had in weeks."

"Ok.  Bathroom's right there, I'm sure I can find something you can wear until your clothes are dry."

"Are you telling me to take a shower?"

"Not to be mean... but you really need it."

 

"Dinner was awesome, thank you so much.  How long until my clothes are dry?"

"Tomorrow morning, I'm afraid.  You know how eco-crazy everyone is in this town.  Hand washing is just too much, but I do line dry.  Are you comfortable with sharing?  I could crash on the couch..."

"I can't put you out of your own bed!  Sharing would be fine."

 

"A good dinner, and breakfast, and a nice comfortable bed... thank you so much, Tabitha."

"It was my pleasure.  You're on the street, right?  Why don't you stay here?  I could use some company."

"Hm.  What kind of invitation is that?"
