I did some touch up on Miss Ox ( thank sweet acorn its Friday! ) I realize something was off about her and I realized I forgot her most important part her piggy nose so I tried my best...did I do it right or do I need to fix up her nose again?

Thanks. Yes. What are these "pain meds" you speak of? The ER doctor (who took 12 hrs to get around to stitching my eye) gave me a small morphine drip (equivelant to "Tylenol 3" / "Tylenol with Codeine") then enough Oxycodone to last a day and a half by her instructions. I stretched it out to 8 days, and have just been bearing the pain. I did take a couple extra-strength Tylenol for a headache though.

The body is a remarkable thing and capable of immense healing, the key thing is positive thought and faith in yourself and family, 

A family member of mine went to Iraq and was injured real bad and was told he'd be wheelchair bound, a couple of years later he was down on one knee proposing to his girl and dancing at the wedding, 

 

I won't go all religious or voodoo on you lol but I do believe that strength of your heart and soul goes a long way and the recovery is tough but the pain of physio etc does pay off for sure and I hope that you will be given some options there,

Thank you for the inspiring story. Inspiring others seems to run in your family. Regarding positive thought, I honestly believe I can look after / coddle my leg (ie. not move it much) for 6 months. If doing so allows my leg to heal, and I can avoid a life of "pain management", whatever comes after that seems inconsequential. At least until I get there. As for getting through the day, I was nervous as hell this morning and felt like puking. I started thinking of everyone here wishing me well, and that calmed me down.

I just think that this kind of change is completely your choice here, 

It's your game and you already have a vision, 

Nobody will criticise you or hate him for this! 

At least at this site anyway lol we are not as dramatic as some Tumblrs etc! 

 

My thoughts though if you want a non functioning penis, clone a nude bottoms and then change the tag so it appears as gloves or tights! 

This way it won't be removed, there's also a tiny lunar eclipse mod too if he's keeping it but the removal is up to you like I say and we're supportive if you're happy with the results ?

You're welcome and thank you! Family support is important at times like this and a huge game changer, I hope that you have some support with this at home, after all.. The only funding they ask for is your happiness

In time you will find a nice balance of being active and not over doing things and it's easier if you aren't totally reliant on the system, 

I can totally imagine how that must have felt before hand, docs can be so vague and I don't know why they can't just say these things over the phone but it's safe to say that if something is seriously wrong and getting worse then your body will give you a warning sign, 

As brave as you are being through this, try not to ignore them, no detail is too small and in some cases it's not always bad as the body fights to heal itself and finds some methods or bindings to be restricting that, 

It's great to hear that progress will monitored regularly but don't be shy to give them new info as and when it happens because you might get an earlier development! 

 

You're doing great already I'm sure and I admire your bravery in all of this, I hope you're able to be comfortable for a bit until the next push, feel free to drop us a line here anytime you feel like a spiritual gathering will help to overcome the next hurdle until you're ready to start jumping over them again xx?

You might be overthinking it at this site at least, I can't speak for others but on adult sites he's pretty safe with whatever you choose, you just gotta avoid places that are full of neurotic snowflakes I guess lol! But we are not a bitchy bunch and focus more on the general game and what we can make it do more than analysing people's characters and gender etc, you really gotta try chill a bit more!

YourFalseHope, I was exactly like you especially with my male sim. I've used the same sim for 12 years recreated him and his family from Sims 2 and in Sims 3 too and got lucky he more or less looks exactly the same although better in the Sims 4.

I stopped been oversensitive a long time ago and just do what I want with him and I got lucky coming to LoversLab where I can express Nick's darker side without any snowflakery or drama lol. 

I enjoy seeing your pics of Oliver and I love his tattoos.

@YourFalseHope I will defend the snowflakes. It's a good thing you're thinking about these questions with sympathy and empathy, and relying on people's lived experiences. Your sims and scenes are sexier for it, rather than going "lol snowflakes" then just coasting through on stale outdated cisheteronormative hentai tropes. What I'm saying is that more people should be thinking about the things you think about. With that said, I have no advice, these are questions about your character's development that you need to answer yourself. It's good to think them out sometimes, though. Your intersex friend is correct, in that surgeries do not define somebody's identity. Nothing about their appearance does. If you do not think it would suit your character for them to have a surgery, then that is your call. (But it looks like Oliver has already had a top surgery, judging from his scars. Tbf top and bottom surgeries are very different, with bottom surgery certainly sounding more intense.) Let go of gender essentialism, your Sim can be any gender you want and look however you want them too, just have empathy for the groups you are representing but it sounds like you should be fine in that regard.

He definitely made me worry more, telling me he skipped a surgery, and was combing the hospital for me, but now that it's all done I can't help but think how nice he is, and really went out of his way to help.

@YourFalseHope Sorry I'm a little late. Regarding Oliver's surgery, it's a big physical change for him. These things (for everybody) are almost always accompanied with a change in perspective or attitude, but not a change in character. I personally like him both ways, but feel this may give him a new sense of "freedom" (not the exact word I'm looking for). I'm curious to see how he expresses it, but either way I like him equally, as I feel it really doesn't change him at all.

Thought I'd share my longest-running game, the Tollivers.  The young adults when this game started are elders now and starting to die off.

First, Garrett and Rachel, the patriarch and matriarch.  They're a lot older than they look, they've got 7 grandkids.Then, the oldest daughter, Lucy, with her family.  She's known as Kitty Houchin now, she took her wife's name, and also became famous as "Guitar Kitty," making public appearances in outfits similar to what she's wearing.  Her wife is Jessica (the blue adult) and her kids are Gordon and Katie.

People generally assume Jessica is the mother, and they usually aren't rude enough to ask who the father is.  In fact, Jessica is the father.  People's next question when they hear that is, "Is that normal on your world?"  It isn't, and in fact Jessica was something of an outcast on Sixam, before she met Kitty.

Next is the middle daughter, Lizbeth, with her wife Amaya and their daughters.  No gender bending here, just a lesbian couple who issued each other hall passes so they could get pregnant.

And finally the youngest son Lucas, with his wife Arya and their daughter Avery.  Yup, a regular family.  For now.  Arya is a Landgraab, and in fact the name Landgraab has died out in this game.  Her parents have died of old age, and her brother is gay and took his husband's name.  Not my doing, that was MCCC's idea.

I havent been here for a while, just playing in a meantime. I created a new pair for Sulani (really like this extension btw) - Andrea inspired by my holidays in Bulgaria couple of years ago, and Yari - American with Caribbean roots. The guy remotely reminds me younger Lenny Kravitz. What do you think, maybe I should take this path? ?

That's one aspect of it. People in such situations don't hold back as much as they used to, and are more likely to express themselves and what they want. They feel less restricted (by others, by expectations, by everything in general). I think "Liberty" is probably a better word than "Freedom".

Elsa's physical change is only wardrobe (it's a kids movie), but it parallels the change inside her. That change though, is only a change in attitude and perspective.

 

I think you got it. Oliver and Ethan seem to have this extra element of passion to their relationship; a deeper connection.

Just a little teaser for a matching set kind-of-thing I've been putting together these past few days while not being occupied by side projects. You can try guessing the theme, but it may not be so clear from the depicted outfit variation - it gets spicier with more skin shown. She's not supposed to be a courtesan though, sorry ?.
