Either way, this is going to be a veeery long day (but the mods are still there... wtf.. Maybe its not going to be that long of a day..I Hope so cause.. I have work tomorrow ? ) Edit: ok.. I have more luck than brains i think ? not a single mod has to be reinstalled.. Half an hour testing, everything is as i had it.. I love it when a problem solves itself with some minor reading.) I'd say this is one of the major benefits of a mod manager, it separates your customizations from the actual game program. Then again, the Data folder should do that, depending on how you actually uninstall and then re-install the game, but I think most times that will wipe the data folder. 1

Dunno about the complete de installation in general to be honest. I only tried a totally clean reinstallation one time. If i remember right, i had to uninstall every mod with the manager before uninstalling the game, i think that worked minus the 2 or 3 mods i had to install manually (skse, engine fix and a retexture that didn't work with manager at the time.) and i still didn't had an entirely vanilla version. But that's ages ago and probably was to LE times. This time i just had to do it cause i was extremely tired and didn't sleeped it over. (the big problem i suddenly had needed vanilla assets to be fixed. But i didn't even consider trying something else.- Which in retro perspective would probably have fixed it too. Only thing i had missing was a chunk of ground meshes. Ya know, something we all had in someway or another at one point. ) I am just happy that i don't have to do anything else other then deploying again ? And having my lovely orc champ with all his features without doing mod installations and testings, which would have taken a good chunk of my weekend. And to know that he downgrad patcher works for me without any issue is also something, i mean i did backup my essential files as recommended by everyone as AE opened its ugly eyes but still good to know. (At least if you let it delete all the CC content to get origin SE. Dunno about the best of both patcher, really don't care about CC´s additions.) 1
Sillius_Maximus Posted March 15, 2022 Posted March 15, 2022 So, I am playing on legendary mode, as a druid. Im using Forgotten Magic Redone, Druid Essentials, and Triumvariate.. (and of course loverslab mods ).. I got defeated, while in tree ent form (triumvariate spell)... Surprisingly, a whole new meaning to the phrase "giving wood" Spoiler Things lined up better than i thought (wasnt sure they would line up at all).. I was struggling with a "reasoned" way to really incrorporate LL mods as anything more than um... porn... I think I have finally got some decent rules in place (after years).. 1) no weapons except specific staffs. 2) one set of spells only- aka "druid spells" and general "restoration". 3) the goal is to actually not get defeated.. 4) when I down an enemy, First: I use Ghost sex (sexlab_necro) or necrophillia(SL Defeat, if target is creature).. I role play this as a way of "purifying, or prepping the soul to move on, prepping the body to return to earth). 5) after the sex is over, I use Druid Craft (Trium) to return the body to earth (the body dissapears, and a random harvestable incredient spawns).. 6) nothing more than leather or fur armor.. Other armor types (steel, iron, etc) are considered to far removed from nature, to be natural... all the smelting, blacksmithing, etc etc..)..
