Hey dagoba, i would like to ask, since it never happened before (but happened after updating AAF to 72 and updating windows 10 - WHO KNOWS). So, are you using F11 for something in AAF? Because when going TFC or TFC 1 (both in console and when starting a pose in AAF), the camera just starts to go to the right, slowly but without stop. After pressing F11, it stops and never go again until closing the game. A bit creepy and funny at the same time lol

 

And remember the issue with the outfit dissapearing when starting the pose with AAF? Well... today when i opened the game and used AAF for the first time, it didn't happen. With the same clothing i was using before. I thought it was fixed, but then later i put on another clothe, this time with armor over it, and when starting AAF... it dissapeared. I will do some more tests as it seens that when not using any armor, this doesn't happen ?

That is creepy. I don't see anything AAF is doing that would affect that.

 

I think maybe its a driver issue for your mouse or keyboard.

Thank you. I did make some adjustments that had a chance of helping. Sounds like... maybe a little?

 

It would definitely help to get more info about what steps cause this every time. I do think you are onto something about layers involved. I think that equipping some armor causes others to unequip in some circumstances. If I can understand the pattern I might be able to fix.

- Setting to control speed that stats decay (for stats that "cool down" after being elevated).
- Setting to disable the application of overlays after animations.

- "OnAAFReady" event so that it sends with it a list of all setting names and values (so that someone could theoretically populate an MCM panel with the defaults).

- Small issue with API events that may (or may not) affect proxy functionality.

Oh boy you actually did it, the overlay system.. that'd definitely come in handy if animators decided to apply cum/sweat textures. This is coming along so well! Good work.

Hey dagobaking,

 

I didn't bring this up till now because I haven't released my mod yet, but for some reason when I use AAF, it completely breaks my dialogue quest. Specifically if I have sex 2 times... doesn't matter if triggered by FP Proxy or with the home key, my quest which is started when you wear a ring via a simple spell simply will no longer start.

 

Here's the script for the spell (though almost certainly no help as it's as basic as can be)

That is odd. I'm not really sure how AAF could impact this. In the past, there was a problem with NPCs losing their AI. But, that was fixed quite a while back.

 

It's possible that there are some additional lines of coded need for you to prep actors and quest so that they can be successfully added.

What happened to the download for Compatibility Patches? Do we still use 2.4 with Alpha 73?

Mod name keeps getting worse. Now it just says "Alpha 73" At least on 72, the name included the Nexus mod number "Alpha 72-31304-72".

No clue from name that it has anything to do with AAF.

What I think is especially weird about it is how it happens only after you use AAF 2 times. I can have sex once, and the quest and aliases will continue to start and fill like normal but after that second time... nothing. I haven't tested if having 2 other NPCs have sex also breaks it. I'll do that when I have time again on monday.

They are being handled on a seperate LL page since Dagobaking consolidated his download links to just Nexus, and you can't have LL compatibility stuff on there.

This makes me think that it is not an AAF issue. It might be that your quest doesn't start after doing various other quest-related tasks in the game as well.

 

You might need to adjust the order of quest calls, alias set-up, etc.

Guess I'll have to look into that. Don't know where to start though because despite working on this mod for a year now (;_;) having known literally nothing when I started I now know slightly more than nothing... sigh ;)

One thing that I have seen a lot of modders do is stop the quest right before starting it. You aren't doing that in the script you posted. So, maybe adding that would help make sure the quest is ready.

Hum, i asked just to be sure, yeah, it is really strange and i don't have a clue about what this can be. I disabled the game tab of windows and i'll take a look into radeon to see if maybe something there can be doing this. Not game breaking, i just need to press F11 and it stops... :s

Hey, yes, thank you!!! AAF is always getting better and better!
I did some other tests yesterday, and, well, the results... lead us nowhere.

I took all my armors from the character, and AAF worked. Then i started equipping first only legs, then only arms, then only chest, and sometimes the bug would occur, then after loading the game, not. Then i switched to another clothe, tried it again, bug happened once and then no more. There is no pattern, seens to be absolutely random, not attached to any specific clothing or armor. I still need to try with equipment handling disabled, maybe i'll do it today. Let's see ?

Whoot! Dagobaking - you got the name fixed! This one installs as "AAF - Alpha 73.1" using Vortex. Perfect.

Seems like a really minor thing - well it is a really minor thing - but when we try to manage hundreds of mods, it matters.

A suggestion: make the compatibility patch (and perhaps some other relevant links that users go looking for, your call) easier to find. Add to the bottom of the main AAF page as a reference, just for user convenience and to head off people having to come here and ask.
