So was this ever fixed? Or is there a workaround? I'm putting together a new game on a new system, and this is as far as I got last time. Only reply I got was that the Deathclaws were supposed to die, but that doesn't change the fact the entire thing is broken from that point onward.

They're supposed to win. After they're all dead, Titus speaks with you and you're pretty much done. Idk why but that part's pretty much always buggy for me. Kept trying different combinations and stuff and found that console killing them right as Titus spawns kind of triggers the quest to go on. Then again, I only got that to work once out of 30 tries so idk if something else does it. There's more content after but it's pretty much all waiting so you're not really missing anything.

It is still an issue. Chance of failing is reduced, but not eliminated. the best trick I found is to not move at all when the scene starts.

This includes moving the mouse if at all possible. Less movement = better results. Doubt that will ever be resolved. Has been around for years.

Just unlock the prison and you can find your gear on the bottom floor.  We have a bit more in beta, but the entire escape sequence still needs to be build.

That is a rare bug, possibly an NCR ranger got misplaced, or something. Best to do it again, usually the second time it works. 1

Comsole commands can cause serious problems. Some are safe but others (like quest progression) can seriously fuck things up. It is your choice of course. It is generally better if you cant find the last Ranger to go back to a previous save before this event. Might be a bummer but ... it will likley be a much more solid game process from there as opposed to forcing it through. SOB is a very complex mod that has done serious changes to the base game and sometimes... things will break and sometimes it is without any rhyme or reason. Â It is up to you. However, if you do decide to start to try to force the quest and such (which I won't give an info ... even if I knew off hand the needed ids and such) please let people know that are supporting you that you forced the progression if you come across a complex or unsual error .. it is very likely due to the fallout of your forced advancement. 1

Here are some suggestions:  1: I noticed that starting the scene from the right side of the raider boss works better, than from behind/left.  2: Sometimes my player is still in the wrong spot: In those cases I go to console and click on the raider leader and do 'player.Moveto <raider leader ID>' (where <> is the ID that console shows when you clicked on him)  3: In a more drastic measure :  If Titus isn't spawning in, you could try to manually spawn him in.  To do so: Go to a save where you can see him (Riverside after take-over or Novac) go to console and click-select him. Write down his Id. Then go to the save just before getting stuck. Start the scene. Go into console again prid <Titus> Moveto player  4: Next solution if that all doesn't work, is spawn in Titus and kill him, then in the same console session select each raider and kill them too.  5: Final one would be to fiddle with quest progression itself, but especially this scene can cause issues later on. 1

Understanding .. truly understanding is half the battle. I would suggest that you install CASM to make sure you have a multitude of saves going forward. Then do as you think is best for your game.

Is your game patched to 4GB? Do you have New Vegas anti crash (NVAC)?

As far as I know, the red exlamation points means that there are missing textures or they can't be loaded correctly

Turns out im just stupid. what i did was download old version from the old dowload page then added the files from this mod to that one. It started working. Does it say anywhere on this mod to download the old version of this mod and then add these files too it because it is highly likely It did and im just stupid. If not the install instructions for this mod should include this step.
