do you use a replacer for aela ?

if so, just deactivate for this short scene , had similiar issue.

most replacers use some kind of invisible armor for beast forms

Maybe that's it. I just ignored it since it's a short scene and I never bother with werewolf stuff.

No werewolf mods. I'm not sure if other female werewolves are invisible, if they were I didn't notice them. Male werewolves are fine.

In CF MCM, I can't change the scan range or max creatures values in the performance section.  Max. Creatures goes back to zero as soon as I press Enter, the range I can set but it goes back to zero when I exit/reopen the MCM.

 I've done the install guide stuff - deregister/re-register etc, is there anything else I need to clean or delete? Have uninstalled re-installed MNC and CF.

(I had old CF installed, then tried the new one and went back to the old one, but I still had the MCM of the new one. Am back with the new one now.)

also beware of vampire mods, at least one of the Serana mods also edits the werewolves.

Finally sorted that. Took a couple of clean saves before I seemed to get a proper fresh install of CF. But now, creatures in-game won't get aroused lol. I guess I'll go back to old CF. 

Edit - I have noticed, that when I run FNIS with old CF it generates meshes but with new CF it doesn't. Might that be a factor?

Yes.  Anyway if it was a problem with FNIS wouldn't it effect old CF as well as the new? 

I'm back to where I was before now anyway. Apparently running old CF as arousal meshes are working fine, but I have the MCM and console logs of new CF, with bits of the MCM not working. This after a clean save and cleaned game and reinstall of old CF.

At least it's all working now, I might just leave well alone. The only problem right now is that spiders get stuck in animations when a scene ends. No idea what to do about that but I think I can live with it : )

(and Skeevers ... they're just stuck in some running anim from the start of any scene)

I don't think is has an effect, but the new CF has a nice feature, override arousal. Can't remember if it was also in old CF possible.

I use this to get rid of the Giant's -2 arousal they show sometimes.

 

For ugrading

same here, needed to start a new game to get rid of this message and the endless loading loop in CF.

changing MNC and CF  mid game is really not recommended.

At least everthing is working now, even group creatures on NPC

CF loads fine, no loading loop although I have had that before. I just seem to have some remnants from the new CF, like the on-screen json notification. I've cleaned up my saved game as much as I know how.

You're right anyway. I have 700 mods and a level 40 character so I should probably stop messing about with it and wait until I'm ready to start a new game : ) And just be happy that 99.9% of a heavily modded game seems fine.

I've seen comments where this is an issue if you've got bijin. you may have to check for conflicts in xedit

Not running Bijin but this made me go through my mods and realize I had more than one replacer or beautification mod for the same npc's so I removed several and see how that goes. I also created more separators for mo2 to better organize things.

Hmmmm, i checked out Creature Framework and its said its obsolete, and included in MNC

But if i install MNC it says me i miss CF. Im confused. Cant find CF in MNC also

Yeh, i did it now. And now i get SetVehicleFixPlugin.dll Error in my SKSE.

Dumb person here, so how does this work. I summon a creature, it just goes off to bang somthing else with no animations, the NPC has animations, the creatures not so mcuh

So what was the fix for CF? The previous post you referenced just said it "seems to be working" but no info on how to get it working. I have 12.1 and CF seems to be stuck in an infinite load. BDIC, CF, and MNC all seem to have the creatureframework in them but no matter what order I put them in the CF in game will just tell me to wait (an hour of real time waiting did nothing). What requirements does MNC have anyway? CF, SL and SLA seem obvious, but what else does it need that isn't listed on the main page?

you just need MNC12.1 and FNIS Creatures. Forget the old CF.

Have it now running for 2 weeks without problems
