It's likely a load order issue or you need to update the XPMSSE Skeleton. Your load order should be: SoS loads first, any male texture skins should overwrite SoS, and XPMSSE should load LAST. Nothing should be overwriting it. Check to make sure you have the latest version of XPMSSE as well.

You haven't installed SOS correctly/completely.  You're still using the vanilla game textures.  The discoloration around the pelvis and the lack of schlong textures means you didn't install the included SOS textures.  Reinstall SOS.  If you're an MO2 user, check your overwrites for the missing files.  If using Vortex, make sure you've resolved any file conflicts correctly (SOS should overwrite everything except XMPSSE).

Hi so ive tried to reinstall sos wich didnt really do anything and cant figure out what light be overwriting sos can i somehow paste my loadorder in here so you can see maby?

I use vortex and in manage rules the only thing that sos is overwriting (after) is amorous adventures extended and mighty beasts. do i need to look somewhere else maby idk

Well, it all seems fine. The only other thing I can think of is to make sure that you have the most current version of XPMSSE. Sorry, can't think of anything else it could be.

Please Help! Having what I believe is a load order issue and I have spent two days trying to figure it out. I have tried so many things I'm afraid to do more, as I can feel Im right on the edge of breaking this playthrough. Where the cocks are supposed to be there is only a hole. Here is a pic to visually represent whats happening though I'm fairly sure this is a common problem with mod users instead of creators. Also, I have a bulge on my PC that I can't get rid of, tried resetting Fill Her UP and Fertility Mode but it stays there like duck tape. It doesn't happen with any other characters or npc's. If you could tell me how to get rid of that bulge or the void cocks that would be AWESOME! Anyhow here is the pic and my load order. Any help would be very much appreciated!!

You don't seem to have the XP32 Maximum Skeleton installed.

 I did have it installed, but I reinstalled it just to be sure that it wasn't something I did in the initial install. Updated the profile by installing from the original files through the vortex mod manager and then wrye bashed and fnis'ed. But still the same problem, Don't know if I mentioned this in the previous post, but there are still collisions with the vagina like there is a cock there and present, but it only shows the hole, this is why I have come to believe it is a load order issue, where something is blocking its appearance for some reason. Here is a pic of my character assets files, maybe that will help someone pick out the problem.

I don't know which mod manager you use (fine detail to share when you ask for help), but as an example when I get an incompatible dll reported by MO2 I need to fix it, then launch the game as usual (skse loader through MO) in order to see if the incompatible dll notification goes away or not. This is because MO will check the last skse64.log to gather that info. So it could be that (listed in order of likelihood)

  1. you have everything installed correctly but you're not attempting to start the game after fixing it.
  2. you have multiple instances of the mod installed and some are old versions (applies to MO, perhaps to Vortex too).
  3. Your installed SKSE version is not the one you think (you can quickly check in game by typing getskseversion in the console).
  4. your mod manager is incorrectly detecting the sos dll as incompatible.

SKSE ver. 2.0.17 (checked in-game with getskseversion console command)

This SOS mod Schlongs of Skyrim SE Version 1.1.4
SexLab Framework SE 1.63 - BETA 8

 

At first i was using SKSE 2.0.19 but downgraded to .17 just in case; also sometimes i get the error "Outdated or missing 'SexLabUtil' SKSE plugin dectected" but i can fix that by reinstalling mods.

Can you verify the dll is in the right folder? If you double click your Schlongs of Skyrim SE in the left panel and go to the Filetree tab, expand the SKSE\Plugins folder you should see the dll there. Verify this to discard an incomplete/wrong install of SOS (note that there are two files available for download, you need the "Schlongs_of_Skyrim_SE - v1.1.4.rar" and not the "Schlongs_of_Skyrim_SE_VR - v1.0.7z").

2.0.19 is fine. I've been using it for several weeks now without issues. Just make sure all your mods are compatible with it (all the mods covered in my guide work fine with 2.0.19 if you install the latest version). The outdated or missing sexlabutil is weird. I don't see any mod conflicting with Sexlab framework, and if you have the version 163 beta 8 this shouldn't be a problem. When do you get that message? what do you reinstall to solve this?

 

PS: you have 1 notification, check what it is and ideally try to fix it.

I checked, the .dll is there and also have the 1.1.4 version of SOS (not the VR one)

 

I wish i could tell you exactly what fixed my "SexLabUtil" bug, i reinstalled a bunch of them in a furry the following are the ones i know i reinstalled: 

SKSE, skse64 ini, Address Library for SKSE, SexLab Framework SE BETA 8

Right now (as in last i opened the game with SKSE) i didn't get the SexLabUtil prompt, but i DO get the missing SOS .dll

I didn't notice that! it's that i reinstalled everything before posting (to no avail) about files on the Overwrite mod directory that i'll get to cleaning up next.

That's weird, I don't see anything out of the ordinary in your modlist. You have SOS light but it's disabled so this shouldn't be an issue. You could check the Conflicts tab (just like you went to the Filetree tab) and see which mods are overwriting SOS just to be sure. Textures and meshes are fine, but other conflicts shouldn't be there. Also does this message appear when you attempt to start a new game or just when you load a save? (and does it happen with other saves or just some?).

 

And just to be completely sure, if you go in game and type in the console getskseversion does it return you a line telling you SKSE 2.0.17 or 2.0.19 is detected? (this can be done as soon as you reach the main menu, you don't need to load a save to open the console and type this command). I can't think of any reason for SOS complaining about a missing dll file with all these steps checked. I guess you already reinstalled SOS.

 

As for your Notification that's harmless. These are files generated by using SSE Edit. You can

  • keep them there (you'll have a permanent notification tho...)
  • delete them (the backup from cleaning Update.esm shouldn't be needed, and the cache files are there just to speed up the SSE Edit initialization process)
  • move them to a dedicated mod (right click in Overwrite and select the option to create a mod from the files in there) to keep those files (calling it SSE Edit Cache or something like that).

The Conflicts tab came clean, when starting a new save i immediatly get the missing .dll error and when loading a save i got the missing .dll AND the SexLabUtil outdated...

I had downloaded SOS Light just to see if it would work (it didn't) i keep it disabled.

Just to add some info:

Skyrim is installed on "D:\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition"

And everything else in "D:\SD\Skyrim modtools\Mod Organizer 2"

 

I'll try tinkering around next when i get the chance, would getting another sos.dll fix it, could it be a windows 10 permission thing or antivirus? just some guesses.

 

Maybe it's time for a full reinstall...

I'll try tinkering around next when i get the chance, would getting another sos.dll fix it, could it be a windows 10 permission thing or antivirus? just some guesses.

The fact that both sexlabutil and the sos dll are detected as missing/outdated tells me there is something preventing MO2 to properly initialize or add these plugins. I wonder if other dll based mods (for example CBPC or Racemenu) work as intended or are also having issues to start.

 

I don't think a reinstall would change anything here. You could try adding the MO2 folder as an exception to your antivirus + running it as admin (this shouldn't be needed if your windows account already has admin rights and given that these folders are outside the default \program files). Also make sure MO2 is the latest version. Other than that I'm out of ideas, I haven't had this issue ever and our install paths and MO2 setups are fairly similar.

I went nuclear, resetted windows, steam and redownloaded skyrim. IT WORKS NOW I'M SO HAPPY.
I'm sorry to whoever has this problem in the future and stumbles upon my series of posts but i couldn't tell you >exactly< what was broken and that my solution is so heavy-handed.

My guess is if this is happening to you: redownload the whole game from steam to directly get the lastest version (1.5.97.0 as of this post) don't get it patched via steam if you've had the game installed for a while.

 

In the now working install i noticed that in-game i got the green OK checks in SexLab settings whereas i didn't get anything at all on the borked one.

SexLab installed, animations registered successfully, boob physics are working, SOS let me select a donger. I'm happy.

I'm currently on SKSE ver. 2.0.17 with sexlab BETA 8 and SOS 1.1.4, might update the SKSE for futue compatability.

Made a thread but im getting desperate here. Figured this would kinda be the best place for it.

Using MO2 for mod installation; I did a custom merge with Zedit to help with the 255 plugin limit. I have 37 plugins active on the right tab(mostly the essential esm and sexlab esms) and 7 active on the left panel. Do I need RacemenuSMMB and SOS to be active on the left; wont that defeat the purpose of the merge? i have tried it for ref, and it still will not show up in menu. With XMPSE at the bottom and its overwriting all the mods its supposed to in conflicts I believe. My preset body does, I just cant make changes to it. All my other plugins seem ok, aside from something that keeps giving a SUM error about sexlab.

I have the character creation things like racemenu, races, and custom hair an shit in one merge. I have it so Racemenu is first, then any required patches are after. However, when i go into RM in anew game, the tab that has SMMb morphs is completely blank. Same with SOS menu, and I've been googling for days looking for the issue. It now for some reason givers me the "SOS is verion -1 should be version whatever" even though its active in both pane s. My chargen presets is not loading either though the json files are where they are supposed to be; i even put them in MO's overwrite folder to be double sure but nothing shows up. Saving them doesn't show anything either. I can't figure out where they are being stored. Running LOOT doesn't fix it as it shows no errors. I can provide the merge file I'm using; but I'm not sure if its allowed because its technically distributing mods that are not lime. Papyrus log and MO2 logs don't show anything; I bet I'm probably looking in the wrong place. Sorry if this is simple and i'm just dumb; i cant figure it out tho.

Most people are going to stop reading after "custom merge with Zedit".  This is SE.  You should investigate what you can turn into ESL's to keep you under the plugin limit.  Compact and ESLify simple mods that aren't a master for something else.  Clothing mod, weapon mods, etc..  Merge mods as a last resort.  Look into using Wrye Bash to help with the identification and conversion process.  You'll need xEdit to compact non-ESL-compliant mods down to size, but Wrye Bash can otherwise ID and enable you to flag ESL-compatible plugins as such (or remove the flag, add other flags like ESM).  You'll probably find that a lot of what you're using is already ESL-friendly.

 

Edit: It's generally not a good idea to ESL-ify core LE/SE crossover mods like Racemenu and SkyUI (as they will appear they can be) for maximum compatibility with older/noncompliant mods.  When you ESLify mods, the place in the load order is always inside the FE range, older non-ESL-aware code won't detect ESL mods in your load order.  I'm not totally up on what is and isn't ESL-safe in the scripted variety lately.

I think I meant Zmerge, not Zedit specifically since merge plugins inst helping me. Ok I have already done so using the guide on Nexus from Nordic(??). Though I haven't combined any of the FormIDs since that seems to be trouble and I'm not sure what that would screw up. Even with that , after enabling all my plugins they come down to 300 and something; most of them seem to need Form IDs Compacted and quite a few of them are masters so I don't want to touch them. Quite a few of them are just like texture mods for insignificant things so right now I only have the essentials enabled so I can see whats going on and whats causing issues. Wyre Bash obviously cant load all of them because of the 255 plugin limit. But most of those issues are just things like DD overwriting some other DD records and such. its mostly green and yellow issues. Aside from some stupid plugins that wont remove themselves for mods im not gonna use anymore.

Well, if you're using too many non-ESL plugins, either you have to merge or not use them (yeah right).  Texture and mesh overhauls don't always have a plugin, and Wrye Bash won't have any issues loading 254 normal plugins and a couple hundred more ESL activated plugins, though I like it less for installing plugins.  I just use it like a utility knife for some fringe features and the ability to drag/drop my load order.  I'm otherwise a Vortex heretic.

 

For those mod you decide to compact ID's, the CK is one way, but I don't know the process nor am I suggesting or recommending using that unless you're more familiar with it already.  Just being clear it is an avenue.  xEdit is what I'd suggest.  It can compact form ID's if the plugin is small enough (less than 1024 objects)...well, you have to activate a special flag ( -IKnowWhatImDoing ) during startup to get the full 1024 range, but either way it is a right-click option to compact from the plugin view list in xEdit.  It won't let you compact something that isn't small enough.

 

Compacting doesn't automatically make it an ESL.  That is a flag you have to toggle via xEdit in the Record Flags of the File Header of the plugin, or with Wrye Bash.  You might have to have Wrye Bash run a detection scan on your plugin order to find all the ESL compatible plugins.  The plugin names will show up as green.

 

Don't ESLify any mods that add new cells to the game unless you can name them .esl and they are the very 1st ESL that loads in your load order.  If you end up doing it, temporary items defined (if any) in the mod could fail to appear in game should another plugin overrides anything (like a patch).  Bug or limitation.

 

Edit: Start with making already-compatible files ESL.  Nearly all "patches" are going to be just a simple toggle to stop wasting a load order slot.  Don't compact any plugin that is used as a master by another plugin, or references objects in it...Unless you don't use those other mods, because then it doesn't matter.  You can break soft dependencies, mapped item ID lists used by other mods, etc.  Don't compact what you would avoid merging.

I'm having problems with rendering females in depence with SOS SSE. It occurs only, when SOS is activated. I've tried to install also CBBE. But it is persistent. If I start the same save without SOS all works fine.

 

What's this signmark for?

The exclamation mark usually means that you have a mod installed that isn't for SE. So, look for something that you've installed that was for LE. Could be anything. Check to make sure that you've downloaded and installed the correct game versions of mods. From the looks of things, it's possibly a texture mod. But, as I said, it could be anything.
