Please go through Twilighstorms (attached) PDF and install only the files which he marked as "required" out of the Passion ZIP file. Besides you need to have the decensor installed. (No part of the Passion ZIP, but you find it in the third post of this thread)  In addition install the OUTFIT CHANGER what is also in the Passion ZIP. Once done that, start the game and select your sim. Let him change the outfit into nude. In case your sim wear some clothes go with him directly into CAS. CAS will pretend then as casual outfit. Do not change that, but just select a nude top and a nude bottom and return to the game. Then your Sim should have a nude outfit. Most important is that you install the CmarNYC_Penis.package what comes with the passion ZIP. Therein should be nude clothes too. Attach the help file here again ! Good luck ! 

HINT : Do NOT install any cmar_XCAS file because then the above way will not work.

I installed passion with a couple of animation sets, along with some other mods. It worked pretty well with a few bugs, so i tried installing some other mods to help with that issue, i.e. some lesbian positions. Now my game is crashing, and will only play without the passion packages. What have i done to cause this? How can i fix it?

Could be caused by 10.000 reasons. A good way would be you show us a screen shoot of your Mod folder.  Then I bet you will get immediate help to solve your problem.

However, installing additional animations packs could not be the reason to crash your game.....

Hi! I'm probably doing something wrong, but after I download this mod, my sims game comes up with an error message saying- "It looks like you have installed an unofficial game modification that does not match your current version of the Sims 3. We recommend that you either uninstall these game modifications or get updated versions of them - otherwise you may experience crashes or significant bugs. Do you want to quit?" I know it's something to do with this mod, because when I uninstall it, the error message doesn't come up and I'm able to play normally. Can someone help me please!

Hi, I keep having an issue where sims will get embarrassed and stop passioning, I've read that having the Shy or Proper traits can affect this but the sims that are getting embarrassed don't have either of those traits. Anyone else had this issue and solved it?

Hi, also got another query, I recently posted on the Nraas forum for an issue I thought I could solve there, I want to stop some of the males in my town from getting other sims pregnant and used Nraas Story Progression to do this. I then came to the issue of using Passion alongside this having pregnancy enabled (in Passions settings) and found that it was ignoring the Story Progression settings. Has anyone else had a similar setup and made it work?

1. What Sims 3 Version do you have installed ? CDs Steam or what. And what Patch 1.63, 1.67, 1.69 ?

Anyway, in case you have CD's and Patch 1.67 and installed passion with the files which Twilightstorm marked as "required" in the PDF out of the Passion ZIP file and no other core mod is installed, then this message will not pop up !

Story Progression and Passion do not work well together, especially if you try to cheat the game by switching one function on in one mod and off in the other.

How you want to stop that ? That is some sort of real life.....  Try to play around with the traits of your male sim or use condoms.

 

Or simply install Cmars Pregnancy controller and stop the pregnancies you do not want for this sims.

Passion and any pure script mod has nothing to do with other mod settings.

The settings of any mod, affect the game it self.

So a mod can affect another mod's behavior through the game itself.

If the behavior of a mod is against the behavior of another, we call it conflict.

Forget passion, forget Nrass and let's talk about this game.

Sims 3 is developed in C# parallel programing. That simply means, If you touch anything in your lot,

it affects the whole town.

 

Example 

Let's say that you have a gardener sim and you don't like that your plants dry and die in one sim week.

Then you don't go to C# programming (you know nothing of it) but you found an XML file that restricts the

plants life to a sim week and you change the number to 10! Very well. You have a mod! You can harvest your 

plants 10 times more than you did before.

And here goes the but...

The story progression which is a part of Sims 3 it self and not any Nraas mod, adds plants every day,  everywhere around your town!

These plants, now live 10 times more than Sims 3 wants them to live and soon lags come out and crashes later.

 

Except Nraas mods, except passion, any simple XML edit mod that you might have (Called Overrides) might be responsible for pregnancies.

If passion pregnancy setting is disabled, any pregnancy in your game does not come from passion.

 

Trust me!

More users report about a partner switching problem and I face this too, especially when more then two sims are involved in a woohoo session.

Since TwilightStorm showed up here a couple hours ago, he maybe want to say something about it. 

However, my recommendation for the meantime would be, to go back to Passion Version 2.7.3. and try if the switching works better for you.

Unfortunately this version is no more up here, so I hope you kept it in your own archive........

Was wondering if someone can tell me how to make a sim in their werewolf state, not in my household, have an erect penis? Cmar's penis in this mod works fine when the werewolf is in his human state, but is a no go while he's a werewolf. I tried editing in cas, but you can't edit a sim in werewolf state (even with Nraas Master Controller). So I used Nraas MC to take off the werewolf moodlet and edit him while human, but I couldn't get the 'transform' button to show so I could edit the werewolf. What suggestions you got for me?

Hi there. After getting bored out of my mind with this quarantine I finally started playing Sims 3 again and discovered your mod. Loving it so far, though been having problems with Sims getting embarrassed for no clear reason (not trait-related). After reading pages of this thread I think MrsSanta here posted the issue previously:

Cool thanks, I've been having another issue with embarrassment, why do elders get embarrassed when attempting to passion? I can confidently say that it has nothing to do with their traits. Is there anything else that could be affecting this? I have had some success when one of my elder sims who is married to a young adult and I 'user direct' make them passion, but when they attempt an autonomous passion caused by the 'Autonomy' settings in the mod the elder sim gets embarrassed and leaves the room. Hope you can answer this as I've seen it asked multiple times and I can't find an answer anywhere.

Just did a bit more testing and it seems that even with a user directed passion the elder will get embarrassed when they change positions.

Thanks to all the beta testers too that helped with finding problems and did all the AW-KW XML conversions.

I've read the entire thread before installing, lol.

 

Haven't played TS3 since 2010-2015 so I decided to take a break from S4 and try this one out.

 

Everything works fine but No Barmaids installed, just not needed ATM.

Win7 and disc game version 1.63, (also have that Net Framework version that some had problems with) 

Still have to Launch base game launcher with Origin, but in offline mode.

Also have quite a few old 'no autonomous' mods that still work.

Plus a few hairs, makeup, and clothing, which I need to merge one of these days.

Wanted to test everything again before merging them.

 

Since S3 ran fine before all so I did was replace all the AW files with KW files and Passion of course.

Left my original CMAR and NRass mods alone.

 

Had to remove a Bar mod that would conflict with Passion, Dashboard found it.

I'm curious why Passion Sex Mod is using a Bar XML?

Does it also control Sex Animations for Bars? 

 

Only thing I've seen strange happen is when 2 sims decided to go play on a bench at the graveyard in Sunset Valley.

They quit before it started and popped something about clip and null, I suspect they couldn't find an animation for it.

But I did have the Passion Initial set to Fuck instead of All so that might be why.

However No Passion menu would come up after this, tried 'stop all' and 'stop' menu but did not reset sims.

Had to use NRass to reset my sim to clear it so not a big deal really.

Just noticed  my Male Witch Sim's magic energy gets depleted every time he does Passion with another sim.

He hasn't even used/practiced any magic yet in game yet. 

 

Found another possible magic mod I've just removed now for retesting. 

 

Well that didn't fix it.

What does the Passion Sex Mod do to affect Magic when no spells were even used? 

 

Found the problem: Had changed Passion/Motives Setting to 'Fill Motives' so it must be draining magic to do it.

Wonder how it fills motives if a sim isn't a Witch?

Anyhow changed the setting to Freeze and it stopped draining my sims magic.
