Is there a way to block or make certain positions invalid? Or to choose the specific start position? I think it's annoying when a male sim starts twerking or doing the "Gangnam Style" dance instead of masturbating.

I've deleted the CmarNYC_Penis.package and downloaded those on the CmarNY site .  It seems to be working for now. Thank you.  Do I Have to set up nude outfits myself?

@TwilightStorm nice to see a post from you again.

Many LL members and passion fans are waiting for you.

Would you be so kind to leave a hint  if we can expect you back more frequently here later some time ?

This would be highly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

All the best !

Hi Clydie...

I've made a new version that is finished and is under tests now.

I can't speak honestly about how frequently I can post in LL

but I believe more often than last year.

I have friends here, such as Mrs Santa that I had no time to answer even a PM last year.

My best regards to you my friend...

If you don't want to see your sims look like this below, then don't....?

Whatever animation starts in passion is exactly as it's Dev. created.

I mean that, if a "Gangnam Style" animation is for both genders, passion will play it for both because this is what it's Dev. wrote in it's xml script.

You might don't like something that someone else might like.

A solution, is to edit the xml script inside the animations.

Just drawing attention to a certain issue, certain animations such as Clydie's have to be added manually for every play session. Saving the game after adding them to the positions list does not make it stick.

I don't know if I skip some step or if I put all in the correct file but after install the mod the menu is almost in blank and don't let start a new game or load a previus one or check the other options.

Hope someone can help me pls

I forgot that Sims 3 mod installation is very different from sims 4

Remember that there are no obvious differences between a Sims 4 .package and a Sims 3 .package. If an uploader improperly labels them then it's easy to place the wrong game .package into your game. For Sims 3 players the easiest way to tell is to try and open a .package file with S3PE. If it opens, then it's good to place into the Sims3/Documents/Mods/Packages folder. If S3PE won't open it, then it won't work in the Sims 3 game.

While I don't use Passion, I can only ask: "Does Passion have a save settings feature?" If so, did you use it after making changes such as adding new animations? While KW does what you mention (Settings are saved per game save, and can be exported for ease of set-up on new games) I'm not sure about Passion and am taking a stab in the dark to possibly help while you wait on official word.

As @landess said above, the only way around it at the moment I see, register the animation manually and just do a save of the Passion settings.

Then you have to load this settings first after the game is loaded. This I experienced for all animation packs which are not registered by Passion automatically.

I.e. for Lucas animations too. Actually not a big issue I think.....

Think you did something wrong with the install. Did you follow the recommendations on how to set up mods in Sims 3 in general ?

Setting up a proper mod folder on the right place a.s.o. I mean ?

Thanks for the reply! I wish I could edit the script, but it's too complicated for me. I guess I will have to live with a couple of animations I personally don't like. ?

Hi, I have learned with the help of Twilight and others how to edit the XML files in Passion. Would you like to send the animations that you are referring to and I will be happy to help. We will save the original so that if you do not like them or it does not work you can go back to the originals at any time!

Due to often animation updates in the past, I made passion to reload any animation from known creators each time the game starts.

That means, destroy the animation list and make a new one for each game start.

Why is that?

Because if you update a new animations version package from a known creator and you don't go to passion settings and click the "Reload Positions" button,

you will never be able to see them.

That is why you had to reload Clydie's each time you start a game.

I add them in to the new version so you won't do this again.

Wait for the upload of Passion version 2.7.5.0 that solves this and many more, at this weekend tops.

I created a Mods folder with their respective files following a tutorial just like this

There is not much in your shoot to see what is maybe wrong.

But may you read my post #3135 on Page 126  from "Rename your sims 3 folder...." and on.

Just to test if something work then for you.......

If still not working, I assume there is something wrong with your basic game installation or the update patches.

I.e. if you had 1.69  installed you can not go back to 1.67 without a complete new installation of the game.

Hi Stormy my much missed friend :D  Thank God you are OK!

Will you add the new objects from Lucas animations in the new version? And can you please make the "change place with other sim" work faster and not keep changing back. I must try to fix the L666 animation where the gender is all mixed up, as i LOVE his/her work.

Hope all is well my dear, huge hug dearest Storm ❤️

It's a pleasure to see you again, Mr. Storm. I am glad that you are well and fit, your work is highly appreciated and brings a lot to the game (my sims would not be the same without Passion). Thank you so much ?

At the end the problem was the version of my game, I updated to 1.67 and everything start to work, thanks for the help really appreciated.

Thanks for the offer to help! ? I will remember that and might get back to you soon. Maybe those twerk and Gangnam style animations could be assigned to females only? I saw a female sim do one of those, and it looked better than when a male did them. ?

I use some males as Trans in KW and am glad they can use ALL the dance/teasing animations. One may want to think about whom their decisions and preferences may affect. While not a Passion user and knowing 'your' preference if implemented wouldn't affect me at all, I thought perhaps speaking up about 'fair-play' when it come to things of this nature may well be brought up.

Story: As I was moving up through the ranks of a company I was exposed to new responsibilities and because I have such a big brain, I instantly started coming up with new and 'better' ways to do things. What I failed to realize was my ideas sounded good to me, without knowing how they would affect others or even the job itself due to a lack of experience, knowledge, or understanding of all the criteria involved. After speaking with others I found my 'ideas' would either create additional work for others, or remove some needed information/etc. neccessary for the job to be completed properly from a company standpoint. At this time I learned something - Ideas aren't a bad thing, but discussing them with others is very important if others may be affected.

In the case you mention above, an option to use/not use would seem to be the proper course of action. If Twilight Storm decides to make a change some are unhappy with, well - It's their mod and they have the right to do what they want.

We all have our preferences, and this is a game so it's about having fun, and testing different things that one isn't interested in IRL can be good fun as well! The more possibilities the better. ? The dance animations are very good and look professional. It's just that I had "Masturbation" as the initial category and the dances are in that one, so they show up when I choose Solo, and they don't fit this creepy guy I'm playing at the moment. He is a serial killer and a Peeping Tom. ?

I think I know a solution. I could change the initial category to "Oral", and since there are no animations for that and Solo, he'll just stand idle until I change to the Position I want.

I sure don't want good animations to be removed from the mod for you or anybody else. On the contrary, I wish that there were even more of all kinds of animations. But it's up to the creators, and I guess most have moved on since Sims 3 is getting old. I'm happy with the animations we have, though. They are more than an Expansion Pack's worth of fun!
